  • Awesome clock.

    yay for ST:TNG reference ;p

  • You could have done this without being annoying as hell.

  • fuck fuck and fuckkkk

wouldn't it be easier to get a regular clock ? lol

    still funny.

(My friend)- Hey man what time is it ?

(Me) - Hold on,let me count it.

  • I would love this Guy to have been my Maths teacher!

  • VerY Cool =]

  • Binary clocks are awesome, love the design xD

  • Bleach is good.

  • pause

    play

  • why would you have a binary clock instead of a digital clock you dumb retard?

  • They should make a binary watch,

  • nigga, do you have a life? seriously

  • Comment removed

  • So it was from ThinkGeek! I thought you bought yours from a different site, but I love mine.

  • SOOOOOO buying.

  • couldn't stay to watch everything. his comedy attempt was killing me.

  • THERE . . . ARE . . . .FOUR . . .LIGHTS!!!!!!!!

Oh man, I feel like such a racist . . . I caught myself thinking "a black dude watched that whole episode of Star Trek TNG?"

Live long and prosper dude, great series.

  • This is how to teach a blind person?

  • he sounds so annnoying ~_~

  • I'm too lazy to scroll back to see if anyone else noticed from 1:51 to 1:55, you say the 3rd light is 3 and the 4th light is 4.

  • meh. My second minute digit says 15 (4 lights on). How the hell do I read that in a time >.>

  • If Count Count ever decides to retire, we have now found his replacement.

  • haha i laughed so much

  • 0:13

  • @SirJayBS

    I meant 1:13

  • I couldnt handle this every time I wanted to know the time

  • what a jack*ss

  • its funny how once he said it was 9:43 it turned 9:44

  • the guy is funny xD

  • This is actually a BCD clock rather than binary. BCD stands for Binary Coded Decimal, where every single decimal digit is coded to binary.

In real binary code you'd have for example 12:17 coded 1100,10001.

    Cheers.

  • @piotr2k I think it's funny how everyone calls BCD binary. LOL

  • my bro has a binary watch so i naturally knew the time one your clock

  • Take a minor C++ Computer Programming course and you learn all about binary :D

  • I feel like I'm watching Count Von Count on Sesame Street. -_-

  • 2:53 "you still with me, lets keep going" LOL

  • it's easy , now i can tell time on that clock ^_^

  • i've had my binary clock for 7 yrs. ( unplugged & in a drawer ). no one i knew could teach me how to tell time on it, THANK YOU SO MUCH... it's soooooooo simple.

  • I love binary code.

    This is 200 in 8-bit:

    11001000

    =D

  • THATS TIGHT!!

  • In the end it was 09:44!!!

  • LOL, awesome!

  • u should consider to teach at highschool

  • thank you this vid is very helpful

  • it says 9 41

  • Man, you are awesome. Keep on xD

  • you are doing it in a funny way nice :D

  • No tell people how to read it in 24hr mode... 1 2 4 8 16 32

  • I'm hoping you might be able to explain this to me. It is currently 1:25AM here. My binary clock reads the minutes and seconds right, so I'm sure it's reading the hours right. What's screwing me up is that for the hours, the first column reads zero, but the second collumn reads 11 (the first, second, and fourth luights are illuminated.) The clock isn't physical, it's on hte computer, so it can't be malfunctioning. What am I doing wrong?

  • piece of shit clock

  • Gahaha, you are one awesome dude! Thumbs up and Subbed!

  • Thanks. Pretty easy now.

  • Binary itself is actually more harder than binary clock - 1 2 4 8 16 32 64 128. We're lucky that there's no 255 in our time.

  • FOWH LIGHTS

  • Awesome!! Thank you for this very intuative video

  • THERE... ARE... FOUR... LIGHTS!!!

Lol at the star trek quote... at least for me :P

  • wow now its totally not woth it to read the clock XD

  • ..lol. Bwana you are so funny man! you crack me up! Thanks for the lesson how to tell time in binary!...i'm gonna buy one of them binary clocks!

  • he kinda messed up at 1:49, "the first light is 1, the second light is 2", but he carried on incrementing instead of using the power of 2!! saved it later though

  • you are now my hero

  • omg this is the most confusing the ever

  • wholy shite dude i want one now!

  • i got it

  • how do i know if its am or pm without looking outside?

  • @scorpio209

That is why the first digit has a 2.

    It is military for PM.

  • @scorpio209 if you cant tell that without looking outside, something's wrong with you, but it does have a 12/24 setting.

  • where can you get this clock (in the uk?)

  • same

  • beng993, you can get these from the gadget shop type shops, ie. Menkind, Red5 etc

  • I have the exact same Bleach poster, the one with Rukia on it. Haha

  • Really cool clock, where can i get one that will be shipped to the UK ,as the supplied site wont ship outside US/Canada

  • Man, you're very funny!! HAHAHA

  • its very easy if you know math

first position is 2^0 the second is 2^1, third is 2^2, and forth is 2^3 thats way he says 1,2,3,4 you just have to add the numbers that are illuminated

  • reminds me of dora

  • I want this clock so bad.

  • thats the 1st explanation ive acctually understood, thanku i now no how 2 read binary x x x x

  • i've just bought one off ebay. call me a geek but i just love this clock. : )

  • nice vid!!!

  • Nice star trek TNG reference in there.

  • 9:44 NOW!

  • can anyone tell me how i can get one of these in england. thinkgeek don't export to england.

  • I want one too, I guess google is your friend. Google Binary Clock UK

  • i really like your tutorial on reading a binary clock, you made it really interesting for me, thanks man. : )

also where can i buy that clock.

  • I think you can put it in true binary right? where the top row is not used, and instead of being one column for each digit, it is one row for seconds(bottom), one row for minutes(middle) ans one row for hours (top)

I'm thinking about getting one from thinkgeek, but I prefer a "true" binary display.

  • Ya, but three rows looks kinda silly

  • what company makes them? I did find out but have forgotten =/

  • binary is the lanuge of computer too it ant hard to learn binary

  • lol if it wasn't hard to learn binary why the hell would assembly code exist?

  • lmaooooo i wish i had a teacher like u back at skool

  • haha u mad funny!

  • PM or AM??

  • I think it's a 24 hour clock.

  • ohhh yeah, lol i wouldve NEVER thought of that! what a nice riddle to tell, thanks!

  • yes it is a 24 hour clock. otherwise it would just have 1 slot for the first digit instead of 2.

  • Again, you are amazing!

I got it, now learning and improving! I'm gonna ask the same clock for my birthday! Thank U!

  • that is so cool. where did u learn that?

  • I love it, I want one :D

  • where do i get one

  • stop talking to me like a dumbass

    it's easy.

  • That clocks insane. Lol. Get a tux clock lol

  • lol NERD

  • In the video at 3:55 the time is 9:44:22 am i correct?

  • 9 06 1 :P

  • *looks through all your videos to try and tell what time it is*

  • lol

  • That was a funny ass video!

  • at 02:26 the time is:

    09.42.52 ?

    right? =/

  • EXACTLY!

  • "We cannot ship this item

outside of the U.S. and Canada"

    fuck!!!

  • @ceekay100 Give me $10 more than it costs and I'll get it for you.

  • @ceekay100 haha

  • @ceekay100 make your own then. :) all you need is some bcd counter and couple logic gates, resistors, batteries, and a plexiglas ;)

  • What about AM or PM? Huh huh huh huh??? lol jk. great vid and thanks. i gotta get me one of those.

  • it is a 24hr clock, 09 for 9am and 21 for 9pm etc.

  • Cool clock. Nice little star trek tng reference in there too.. however... there are T-h-r-e-e lights!

  • That's awesome. Have any good sources of where I could find or order one in Canada? I like the blue on black like that.

  • i always wanted to know wat that was

  • nice clock i want one

  • its, 9:44:24 on that clock when the video is a 3:57. The only reason why i know that is cuz i gots meself one :D

  • i feel im in a class

    lol

  • Thanks for the lesson!! =]

I'm copping one of those now.

  • dats awesome i want one lol its cool

  • that is one awesome clock lol, i want one :)

  • so it is 9:43????????? wow that is confusing!

  • i love ya, man, but who would have one of those but you

  • So its 9:42?

  • Lol i thought it was just a flashing led light

  • nice. now i do know how to tell time on a binary clock. i feel like a geek now :D

  • How do i buy it outside america and canada?

  • Are you living in a Country where the individual is not free to buy from whom ever they want, when they want, and how they want? Man that must suck.

  • No thinkgeek just dosn't sent to Denmark...

  • I wonder if trade policy has anything to do with that decision by Thinkgeek?

  • or how expensive and unconsitent the prices are too ship out of the country.

  • The Star Trek Dialouge You Nailed It Too Damn Funny! Jean-Luc would be proud.

  • hahaha.....I think after you announced 1 2 4 8 most of the interest just dropped like a rock

  • ok..now i totally wanna buy one of these

  • now all these dumbasses out there think they're gonna get a nobel prize in mathematics cuz they understand the binary clock.. ooooh!

    next up - hexadecimal clock.

  • YES! i understand now!

    :}

  • lol, thats pretty cool, i got it... im guessing thats a 24 hour clock?

  • GO BINARY! AND GO BLEACH!

  • That is awesome!!!!! I've alway wondered about these binary clocks. Thanks for showing us!!!! You ROCK!!!! Lol.....and funny as heck too.

  • What happens if it is 2:00?

  • crazy Video!!!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    ASIAN ACCENT!!

  • Excuse my last comment. It is 9:43 and 3 seconds

  • thats pretty cool, btw nice bleach poster next to it

  • 9:44?

  • I always just thought they were lights

  • whats the website he says? binary isnt hard people...all you have to do is take a year or 2 of cisco computer networking and you will know binary in and out lol

  • That's easy!!!

  • ive been wondering this so long ago but i never asked

  • this method of binary is very easy, I have a wrist watch that is binary LED.

  • I want one of those watches.... you better keep an eye on yours because you might look away for a second and then it will be gone. lol

  • LOL i liked to have a binary watch

  • i want one

  • Omg! The clock is complicated. I will stick to my clock intend

  • man, and i thought analog clocks were annoying =\

  • Are you kidding me? Simple binary is easier to read than Analog...

  • Drugs are bad for you.

  • lol I worked this out myself. Also, first.
