  • I love this piece! My grandma played it yesterday and I love it I can't wait till I'm capable to play at least a part of this beautiful piece of music history'

  • My keyboard sounds like crap compared to this, and it wasn't at cheap keyboard at all :S

  • Lypur, you are so talented. A genius at the keyboard.

  • Would this piece be considered 'rondo form'?

  • @EvanFingerstyle as i understand because it has slow part, then fast part, then again the same slow part, then fast part, and again slow part.

  • Honest radiance and light emanates from this piece and your playing...

I adore it when my mum chooses to play this... her house lights up with precious memories from the then to now : )

  • Lypur taught me how to play this song, and I showed my Piano Teacher Amy, and she loved it! That was my first lesson and she was impressed because i've only taught myself and you helped me get to this point. Thank you so so so much Andrew Furmanczyk! :P

  • Dude Thanks yo. I learn this from your tutorial. and i can do this perfectly. Your the best!

  • Can I come live with you?

  • I think it was very good playing but the music lacked emotion, i would suggest you slow the music down and try to use a wide range of dynamics.

    YOU'RE SO GREAT!!!

last year i took a summer piano class but before i enrolled, I've watched your videos and your free piano lessons and it's so great, I learned and that;s why my teacher/professor in my piano lessons said I'm a good fast learner. ^^I'm so glad to watched your videos again!

  • okay I've watched half a dozen videos of people playing this piece now and you're the only one who has all the correct figure placement, the right tempo and enough passion. Thank you.

  • Beautiful pieces, so effortless,.

  • ur piano is beautiful! I wish I had one, but I have a old keyboard!

  • Seriously better than your Chopin 'Minute Waltz'...

  • nice scenery

  • I know a fur elise

  • true there are better renditions but it was still masterfully played bravo sir

  • Amazing.

  • ofc u are good, but noone plays it as lovely as beethoven himself =3

  • @NotNamedName You do know that there is no recording of Beethoven himself playing, don't you? The very first recording device, Phonautograph was invented 30 years after his death. I know that you're praising him for reasons which he rightfully deserves, so I'll be nice, unlike some trolls would be.

  • Just wondering, when did you begin to play?

I'm 16 and considering beginning to play - do you think it's too late?

  • I love the way you play Fur Elise. It is one of my favorite songs and I thoroughly appreciated your performance of it. Your playing inspires me to become a better pianist.

  • Well done. I liked the playing in B&W thing.

  • haha wow.. i love this song......i play it all the time when im playing....it's one of my favorites to play.....even though i really only play the first part well.....im still learning though and your music theory lessons and piano lessons are great. thanks

  • Dude, you're amazing. Keep it up.

  • This is so fucking awesome! How long would it take me to play the piano like that? I hope 30 years would do it.

And excuse my language, I am not a profane person!

  • Wow nice...

    so sad though, Poor beethoven

  • pro!

  • very beautiful and romantic! Lypur, I want to sit beside you watching and listen

  • What else than awesome could you expect from Vegeta with glasses?

I was so excited to Learn how to play I got home and searched up my favorite song "Für Elise " and I picked this video and let me tell you, you are AMAZING! Keep on playing! Your like a mini beethoven!

  • amazing

  • Bravissimo! Tres forte merci obrigado

  • Hey Andrew, my name is Lily and I've been watching a ton of your videos. They've been incredibly helpful and very inspiring. Not to mention easy for me to learn the piano, seeing as I don't have the money to pay for an instructor.

Do you think, when you have a chance- of course, that you could do a tutorial on the Phantom of the Opera? The main song... that is. I would greatly appreciate it, and it would be very helpful.

    Thanks a lot! :)

  • Look Synyster from Avenged Sevenfold can rock out on Piano as well :P

  • You definitely did do it justice. Absolutely!

  • I've learnt the E D# E D# E B D C A C E A B C E A C part. I'm going to show it off in school, I'm only 9 too :D

  • you changed the ''mi'' for a ''re'' at around 0:09, no?

  • sounds good romantic! like it teacher

  • Gosh... I wish Für Elise sounded just as good on my piano, but having an electronic one really sucks sometimes. :o It doesn't feel how hard or light I press the keys, so it just sounds sooo dull...

    Anyway... You're too awesome! ^__^

  • hi I am a 29 year old who has recently decided to go to school again for a bachelor diploma, after this year I still have to go to school for two more years. After that I would love to start learning to play the piano, you think it is achievable at my age?

    love your playing!

  • I guess I'll have to go buy 20 bullets then...

    Great song, great playing!

  • 20 peoples mouse is broken dont thumbs up dont thumbs down dont hate dont love just accept that this music is BEAUTIFUL and more addictive than drugs (which i dont take cuz im 12)

  • approximately 2.4 percent of the population has no taste.

    [ 20 / (821+20) ] * 100 = 2.378 for the math challenged.

  • Very nice my 6 year old daughter got a piano for Xmas we are going to use all your vids to teach her to play. Your a great teacher keep it up and thanx

  • @Gr33nbay502 she's lucky! :)

  • @Lypur CHINEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

  • @Lypur I once made music with one who was 5'3" but she went by a different name. :)

  • I Like it. I like how your fingers just gliiiiiide across the keyboards :)

  • we have a new beethoven!!!!! hahaha great cover

  • 20 peoples mouse is broken

  • 19 people are jealous because they can't play this song.

  • to fast

  • please marry me lol

  • I LOVE YOUR HAIR, DUDE. @_@

  • My name is Elise :)

  • That was a very good job. IT was very well done, you have a lot of talent. You should be recognized by a lot of people.

  • Great performance! Very well done!

But on a side note (sorry to be a kill-joy), Beethoven actualy didn't write it as a love song, but as an etude for a young student of his. One of the reasons for the common misconception is because Beethoven was a rather lecherous guy who only accepted talented and goodlooking students... so i guess you could say he was 'pursuing' her in a way.

  • love this

  • beautifully done.

  • Bravo, why? Cuz i wont ever be able to do any better!

  • beautiful job bro!

  • Mr Andrew, you inspire me with your skills! And I love your hair!!! You absolutely do justice to this piece! Beethoven himself would be impressed!!

  • you are my inspiration :D

  • @senortwenky they are just jelous

  • I have a niece who really wants to play that piece, ang she says:

"almost the original, does he have the video tutorial? bad for me though, can't play the high part... organs.... hm.... oh! oh! he's a piano teacher? hope we're in california..."

  • i love your piano!!! :D

  • Too fast

  • i wish i could do that

  • this guy look like he got hit by lightning

  • this guy plays fur elise far to fast ivo porgolichs is better imo.

  • it pisses me off that some people here, just sit there and pick on the way you played this piece, I loved it. To me Andrew you are awesome, and I want to take the opportunity to Thank you for your 40 piano lessons. I just finished lesson#4 and you have given me the motivation I always needed to go on learning music. and you did not charge a penny, all out of you voluntary heart. thank you

  • @Freakortiz My thoughts exactly.

  • Perhaps you should buy a grandpiano with length 7ft

  • Comment removed

  • dude why you play that D instead of an E at ~9 sec?

  • The amount of awesome in this video is almost equivalent to the amount hair gel in your hair.

Unless it turns out you didn't actually use much... in which case it's just very well done.

  • Just to let people know ü is alt+1+2+9.

  • i thought beethoven was blind?? or was that someone ealse??

  • @animemaker123 Beethoven went deaf. There's a great documentary on here. It's called, Beethoven Part 1 of 18. Then of course there's 2-18 as well, but I recommend starting at the beginning. :P

  • You could so get laid from this!

  • This is a bit slow, but other than that it's good I guess! Just that the original is meant to go faster at some parts of the song, but then again it is very hard to handle the speed and there's nothing wrong at playing at the speed you like and can handle!

  • I am very picky with how people play this song, as it is my favorite and has sentimental value to me. I really enjoyed your timing and passion, and how neither took away from the familiar flow and beauty of the song. :)

  • hi,you are a good player, but you make a serious mistake.at 0:30 you play one repetition d sharp-e too less.so the new beginning is at count 2 and not on one.but the funny thing is that lisitsa makes the the same mistake live, but she deleted my comment immediately.

  • Well that was crap!! Do you know anything about timing?

  • @12ga9mm and Achtelnote: re-read his comment, taking note of the part where it says, "..my interpetation of.."

  • Fantastic Andrew - Loved your video of this classic - You are such a talented young man - and your lessons are so enjoyable... Thanks for sharing your talent with us...
