it's because the DS is FUN. i mean, the PSP's graphics may be good, but they arent using them in combination with the game plots and other variables, resulting in not so good games. PSP sales are only so high because they equipped them with Wi-Fi internet access, and MP3 capabilities. it is no longer a game console, but a hand-held computer.
the wii was a novelty for me, i baught it because it was cheap, like someone said, then i got a 360 which was good but very buggy (not that they all are but when i traded it fora new 1 that was buggy 2), so being a sony fan boy i decided that if i traded the wii and the 360 in i could get a cheap ps3 so i did nad im happy with it, so i recomend ps3 :D. Though i am a sony fan boy so yano its clearly watever you prefer realy.
