Hey a really cool chord sub that is on the original Miles recording would be at .21 in your vid. Instead of playing Bb7 like everybody in the world does and the chart has written. Try Dm11 voiced by string 6=D 4=C 3=F 2=G on beats 1 & 2 and then D7b5 voiced by string 6=Db 4=Cb 3=F 2=Abb or G.
Be very careful when playing through real book charts they are horrible if you compare the chord changes to the original recording that they are trying to duplicate.
No he is right, it sometimes goes slightly out of time and loses the swing, but it's pretty hard to to get right without a drummer or faster rhythm part
@skunkin53 I find it hard to swing when playing chords by myself on guitar. You don't have the ride from the drums setting up the swing feel, and you don't have the bass walking through the quarter notes and holding down the beat. This means that the GUITARIST has to do that, forcing him to play on beat one a lot, instead of some of the more syncopated jazzy lines. I think it'd swing a lot more with a band, but not bad at all for just the guitars.
I've been learning the song by playing along with your track....you have a very nice sound. Also, tasteful soloing, which is much appreciated. Thanks.
wow that was really good!

@skunkin53
You're joking. That's a great backing track. He recorded it himself on a loop pedal...
