I got a chance to see this movie whn I was around 11 years almost 21 years after its release. It was by sheer luck that I saw this movie when a friend of mine took me to her dad's officer's club where it was being shown. It was then that I fell in love with dance and music. The dances and the songs are absolutely mindblowing, making Indian music outstanding in the whole world. You hardly get to see such compositions and such voices and such actors now. hats off to utube for all these posts.

This song is composed by vasant desai in raag 'MALGUNJI" AND NOT in bhagishiri, though thaat is same i.e kafi. this raag has been used rarely by composers.

It was one of those days when we were dependent on Radio Ceylon; this was the only source at that time. We used to fulfil our desires through this channel. But now with flowing time and the speed of innovations have made so many things available on the palm your hand. When I look back as a teen ager, what we had and what we are experiencing now it is beyond my imagination.This duet is marvellous and its composition smoothly penetrates and captures your senses.
