@davev8app Lol Dave, seriously, just had a look - it really does look like a "bog standard Nova 1.4 doesn't it? With a stripped out interior, just one driver's seat and a cage running semi slicks etc... This was a TRACKDAY for road cars on ROAD tyres.

@cw205mi16 For the 750MC Stock Hatch has to be a bog standard nova engine but it may be 1.6 this i cut and past from 750 motoclub

Control tyre is the Yokohama AO48R. Rim width and diameter must be standard for the model.

Suspension

Standard configuration and pick-up points; springs may be uprated and lowered. No rose-joints or rod-ends; only single-adjustable dampers; standard anti-roll bars yes you will give a race car more welly but he still has 250hp less than the evo7

the MI16 is 2.0l 16V and is from the 405mi16,thats another engine?

the 2L MI16 has 150bhp and the 1.9L GTI16V has 176bhp.. look 4 it ;)

im looking for a 309 gti 16v engine for 5 years now,still didn't find it..

normally they all use 2L MI 16 engine's in 205's

@koengixxer 405 Mi16 (& Citroen BX 16v) had the 160bhp 1.9 16v XU9J4 engine from about 87-91 before the 2.0 16v 150bhp replaced it in the 405 Mi16. We never had the 309 GTi16 in the UK, though the power was 160bhp in that too, not as high as 176bhp. The 306GTi was 167bhp if that is where the confusion lies.

great vid, well driven 205, the lack of punch down the straights is a shame, iam presently lworking on a 2l 8v turbo engine to go in, running 1bar, cammed , modified inlet with larger throttle body,ported head, triple cut valves etc etc,looking for 250bhp at the wheels, you should consider this con version, then you,ll destroy evo's etc down the straights as well as round the bends, pure satisfaction, look at Tam's ax at knockhill, with 243horse, bye bye evo, cheers wez.

I dont think the Evos were that slow, just that a nicely set up track car like a MI16 205 and decent track knowledge can embarrass much more exotic machinery - Great to watch, nice one :-)
