  • I just lost my grandfather to lung cancer, he was a musician also! I have videos of him playing and understand completely how you feel man! Much Respect, and as my grandfather used to say K.O.P! Keep On Pickin!

  • How wonderful you have your video & the memories of him. We never seem to totally appreciate them till they're gone. But I still feel that they know it now. Bless You !

  • look at the way he looks... his eyes are focused: important:

    thank you for posting.

  • hes got bunions arthritis and shit in his pants but hes still playing like a champ

  • That sucks man I'm sorry :/ I lost an elder a few times and It was always nice that when you asked them about the old days for them, they'd talk and light up as if they were in the moment. In your case, give him a guitar and suddenly he's in his 20's as if nothing has every changed. Rock on! !..!,

  • God Bless to you and your Grandpa, if i can play like him some day ill be happy :)

  • i'm sorry to hear about your grandpa - my grandpa played guitar too and he gave me his when i was a kid and always seemed really proud of me when i would play it - he died in 2005 - i ran across this video by chance - but it's probably the best thing i've seen all day - it reminds me of my own grandpa and how much i love him

  • thanks for sharing

  • That's something truly special right there, I know exactly where you're coming from, my pop passed away earlier this year, it was hard when you were there and with the memory loss; he wouldn't remember who you are, but i knew on the inside he was still there. Up until his last days he could still tell me his stories of growing up, in the war and migrating to Australia. R.I.P
