Korea national team pair up w/ celebrities n train them intensely. The coach from this vid is paired with a korean singer IU...haha...unfortunately IU is the clumsiest one, so he has to train her Real Hard...lol n if u like cute things, there is a 10yr old boy who is a national gold medalist participating in the program. U get to see them in episode 2.

I admire and really respect Kim Yuna, but her success is just bringing on an onslaught of parents forcing their kids into this field. I hope that the parents can learn from Yuna that it is only true LOVE of the sport and dedication to it that can help the kids succeed!

I'm saying that skating is not the only way to be successful. The parents shouldn't just focus on skating just because Yu Na is successful at it. If their kids show potential in figure skating etc, then they should continue to let them skate. But if the kid isn't really that good at skating but excels at something else, then the parent shouldn't force them to keep skating. Rather, they should focus more on the skills their kid is good at.

When I was a kid, I have learned many things such as piano,art, Taekwondo etc.... in South Korea, but now I don't remember nothing. I think that just focusing on one thing that children like is the best way. I'd say that Korean parents way too much give pressure to their children. Though I love my mom and dad.
