  • I was really hoping for a tutorial on true "Black", and "White" and not all that grey. Photoshop is making duotone very complicated. X.x

  • Thank you! :)

  • too complicated don't even know how to "copy things to they're own layer" - wtf?

  • way too complicated for me. i just use a b&w "action" when editing a batch of photos

  • very nice of you to put such fab vids on youtube free... dont know why you dont make make your own dvds and charge for them! your tutorials r great :)

  • Is there a way to make the image ONLY black or white, with no gray areas.

  • @CeNaTyLeR Yeah, it's called threshold.

  • superb....... i think you have lots of knowledge about color channel . i like your video tutorial.

  • how did you coppy that layer with black ang whie @ 6:06 THANKS

  • ctrl+alt+shit+e :)

  • Very helpful tutorial. Many thanks!

  • Excellent tutorial.

  • Great!

  • thanks for this tutorial, it's very helpful i'll definitely try this one later.

  • the whole reason he made this video is to show an alternative to Desaturate, which will lower the quality of the picture.

  • Great solutions. Particularly love the last one "channel mixer". Thanks for sharing...

  • Desaturating it is very easy indeed, but I appreciate the options given in this tutorial. Very well done!

  • I would just copy a layer and then desaturate it,

  • THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR THIS!.. I love the channels option.

  • Thank You !

  • That was a great vid! Never really thought of using the channel mixer at all.

  • ARE YOU FOR REAL?

  • my problem is that. when i use the channels to make my pic black and white and i save it as a jpeg.i still get a colored pic. is it possible to simply pik the red channel and use what that gives u in a pic

  • I think you better watch the video again. You have to select all in a channel, then copy, then go back to the layers palette and paste it in before you can save anything.

  • @ranash1995 the vid was really great especially the lab mode

but the problem is that i can't save a jpeg or jpg copy? how can i save such format?

all whats available is only psd eps pdd or raw

    pls reply thanks

  • even easier you can do ctrl+shift+U

  • thank you
