The Second most obvious problem is the dumbing-down of Peter Parker from a brilliant scientist and social outcast to just a normal douche, probably to appeal to the douchebags watching. Peter Parker created web shooters. It doesn't grow from him and if it did it would be from his ass, not his wrists.

Some say that spiderman is one of the easiest to believe superheroes with the whole "getting spider powers from a mutant spider" thing, but honestly, think of how big spiders' abdomens are (and have to be) to store all that webbing. Which, by the way, can't be shot out like a bullet. It can only be placed down in attachment to something to help form a web. So realistically Spiderman should be bloated in some way from his webbing, and uses it to set horror film-like traps for enemies.

Replacing Toby Maguire as Spiderman = I don't really want hear about it.

He brought something special to the films, gave them a sort of innocence and heart. Made you scared for him a lot of the time.

Even if they messed the story up which is likely, the music the intro's and the characters for the first 3 are amazing and no matter how good the 4th is, I hold so much sentimental value on the first 3 I doubt I could love it now.

I hated Tobey in most of the trilogy. Peter Parker is supposed to be the upgoing, happy, funny guy who comes up with insults and jokes against his villains. Tobey just basically acts "look at me, I'm pathetic."
