@vaevictious well if you ask me buakaw played a safe fight using distance and kicks only. Few punches. Zambidis has better hands, but the reach really killed him in that fight. Do you happen to know what each of their wieght was that fight?

yeah k1 has a few better strikers, but the best striker in my opinion is anderson silva, and hes UFC champ :D

better than buakaw por pramuk and masato. i doubt it . in the ufc fighters give alot of respect to anderson's striking also because he is a black belt in jiujitsu. but in k1 he would be a good if not average fighter.

I think Anderson Silva has heavy punches and kicks because of that long legs and arms but his movements are too slow to compete in a striking only tournament and become the best. Also, I think UFC middle weight is a bit heavier than K-1 middle weight so I think he'll go against a light heavy weight fighter like Melvin Manhoef and he's definitely a lot more powerful and stronger and competes in both MMA and K-1.

ive seen every silva fight that is relevant to his current stylei know how his approach to things brah, he's a counter stricker. he doesnt rely on being big and powerful. yes he's fast, because that's what's required of a counterer.

Well, guys like Chuck Liddell and Lyoto Machida are counter striker as well but he has good offensive techniques as well. I didn't disagree on the part that he's a counter striker but when you said "he's not about power", don't you mean he's not "just" about power? He has speed and he's a technician but he can't make all those knock outs without power. He's basically an all-arounder.

Check out the fight with him and Boaqua or however else you say that guys name. Zambidis is good but against a gritty Thai like Bo or Yodsenklai, I don't know. Anyway, I understand a lot of you guys are Greek and are proud and all that, but the bias is a little much. Peace.
