  • Godsmack sucks.

  • that 98 is fast as shit

  • This explains why my cousins ol worn out lt1 pulls on the 05 gt's. The bastard has 90,000 miles with warped headers.

  • old school baby

  • why would you race two of the same mustangs i mean seriously they both have the same motors an almost the same weight

  • @1Mblades they dont have the same motors...the 96-98 gts have a 2v 4.6 and the 05-10 have the 3v 4.6

  • no i new the guy that a raced it was a 3v mustang gt and only one was stock

  • God I miss my Stang........

  • Good showing!! Mods??

  • Lol!!! Your an idiot

  • Where's the fogs in the grill on the "GT"? Yea, it's a V6 stang vs. a 98' GT. That's about how a v6 06' stang would get beat by that model Gt.

  • @gotz0n stop crying because 2v are lighter and faster then 3v

  • @branman50314 2v are lighter but faster fuck no!

  • @braddfordy yeah wanna bet ok ill but a vid up so far i beat 3 s197

  • @branman50314 you beat 3 v6s? a 2v will not touch a 3v without some help! i owned a 97 gt fun car but not a fast car! btw type where people can understand you dumb fuck

  • @braddfordy And in this vid in beat the s197 everytime dumb ass

  • @branman50314 are these cars stock?

  • looked like the 98 had exhaust and it had the v6 emblem on the side?

  • i wanna race your little pony, mine is a 07....

  • @sexystang72 So it's the same motor as the '06....

  • Im guessing PI Swap and gears in the 98?

  • 98 is substantially faster. Yeah it's a few hundred pounds lighter but the tub driving it has to be around 300 lbs and the 98 trounces the newer car. A fox would destroy the 98 without breaking a sweat but you know what all three are awesome, rear drive, high performance cars. No coffee can exhausts spewing parts behind em at 10000 rpm, no ridiculous front wheel "chirps", I'd take any one of the 3 ANY day any time even if gas went to 100 a liter/gallon cause cool is cool in ANY language......

  • @RichardPeterNuss I know you probably think the 5.0 Fox Mustang was the best car ever made, but it would NOT "destroy" a 98 GT...A 1988 Fox-Body Mustang GT runs the 1/4 mile in 15.6 seconds. I ran a 15.1 1/4 mile in my '98 GT with a full tank of gas PLUS my spare tire and all my tools in the trunk. The ambient air temp was 85 degrees with 75% humidity. Go stare at photos of Fox bodies and jerk off in a quiet room with the rest of the 20-somethings...

  • @FixFalcon Ummmmmmm....I ran a 13.5 bone stock in my 1990 Mustang GT....absolutely not 1 mod on it.....

  • @lowrider121990 I'm very proud of ya.

  • @FixFalcon Dude I mean you said a 1988 GT runs it in 15.6....an auto with a crappy driver bone stock does it in the low 14's.....It IS however faster than a 98 GT. 98 GT is heavier and has less hp. If you only ran a 15.1 your car isn't running right, or you need practice at the track...Not trying to diss you just saying.

  • @lowrider121990 What? The '98 GT and the '88 GT have the same horsepower, sadly. And yes, my car is currently not running how it should. I'm getting it dyno-tuned in a couple weeks.

  • auto 3valves are better from a dig. good kill nonethe less. mods on the sn95?

  • But the '06 GT has 300 hp stock

  • nice car, what kind of spoiler is that you have?

  • the newer stangs are disappointing. that was a sn95 with a 4.6L.

amagaine what a sn95 with the 5.0 would do to it.

  • sn95 with he 5.0 are slower than the 4.6's depending on what mods are done

  • the 5.0's still have way more torque specially low end torque. thats what makes it faster.

  • @TravisCadello nope.look up the specs.the 4.6 makes the same exact hp and torque numbers as the bigger 5.0L gt.they both stock have 215hp and 285lb/ft of torque.but the 4.6 has slightly more upper rpm hp and torque.and the 4.6 revs quicker and gets way better gas mileage.stock for stock 4.6 gt wins.sounds cooler too.

  • @dkill429 Stock to stock the 4.6 will win barely but that is because the shity ass restricted heads and intake the 5.0 has. $400 will make the 5.0 over 330HP the 4.6 would take over $800 in parts to get that power.

The 5.0 is more reliable and sounds much meaner and is a classic. the ONLY thing better on the 4.6 DOHC motors is the gas mileage.

  • @TravisCadello 4.6 sohc is 215hp and 285lb/ft of torque.the 5.0 has exact hp and torque.lol.the 4.6 has shitty heads and intake too.the 4.6 is way more dependable.ford has even proved it in tests.thats the reason they went to the 4.6 sohc.duh.5.0 sounds like a run of the mill small v8.the 4.6 revs quicker.dont even try to compare the shitty 5.0 pushrod to the 32 valve D.O.H.C. cobra motor.lol.stock D.O.H.C. 32 valve 4.6 has 320hp.thats 105hp more than a stock 5.0.cant throw pushrods in a 4.6

  • @dkill429 Wow....talk about rambling off a bunch of nonsense..

  • @NWpowerhouse85 Yeah I bet logic is what you call nonsense.I guess its nonsense to say the 32 valve 4.6L has 320hp stock.YEAH THATS JUST STUPID.cause everyone knows they only have 20hp.lol.Everything I said was 100% pure FACT.the 32 valve 4.6L DOHC makes old school pushrod 5.0's look like shit.DOHC is new technology over old school pushrod.DOHC moves WAY more air than old school pushrod.period.fact.the 5.0L pushrod is DEAD! First of all, lol,I wasnt talking to you.stick your nose somewhere else.

  • @dkill429 You posted on here, and originally weren't talking to anyone, you dumb chode.

You were talking about the 4.6 being rated the same as the 5.0, meaning that you were referring to the original SINGLE overhead cam 4.6, which was 16 valves, not 32. Second, the 5.0s could wipe the floor with the early 4.6s, and could keep up with the PI 4.6 pretty well.

The 5.0 is also far superior when it comes to modifying, the parts are far cheaper, easier to install, and no 4.6 has ever matched

  • @NWpowerhouse85 no.the 1995 gt has 215hp stock.the 1996 gt has 215hp stock.thats what i said.you dumb fuckin ass goblin.the 1994-1995 gt's have only 215hp stock.FACT.the 1996 gt SOHC has 215hp stock.FACT.they have EXACTLY the same hp.FACT.but the 1996 gt engine is .4 liters smaller.FACT.so that means the 4.6L SOHC makes more hp per liter than the bigger 5.0L. FACT.man I school you everytime.lol.a 1995 gt vs a 1996 gt is pretty much a DEAD EVEN RACE.the 1995 and 1996 gt gets like 14.5 in 1/4.

  • @NWpowerhouse85 the 1996 4.6L gt engine has 215hp stock.the 1995 5.0L gt has 215hp stock.THEY HAVE SAME HP STOCK.do you not know the specs for a 1995 gt?ITS 215 HP STOCK!!!JUST LIKE THE 4.6L GT.I own a 1997 4.6L gt,and raced lots of 5.0L gt's and i always won.but only by like 1-2 cars.and that was 0-130mph.they are even cars.almost DEAD even.both were BONE STOCK.VERY CLOSE RACE.but my 4.6L gets WAY better gas mileage than a 5.0L gt.but still is just as fast.either way they both slow as fuck.14's

  • @dkill429 Wow...not only are you clueless, you're long-winded and boring. When you're talking to someone, IF you have a point(which you clearly don't, you've contradicted yourself about 37 times), then fucking make it, don't senselessly ramble on and on about nothing, taking up the whole fucking page.

The 427 Ford made over 570 horsepower in High Rise form, on an engine dyno, the 5.0 doesn't.

The old 5.0 and 4.6 were rated the same----they did NOT make the same power.

    You=know-nothing dick

  • @NWpowerhouse85 Everything I said can be proved.its all fact.all you keep sayin is youre stupid, youre stupid.the 427 engine youre talking about is by far not stock.lol.if the 5.0L DOHC makes 82.4 hp per liter then 82.4 hp times 7 liters makes 576.8hp.thats how much hp a DOHC 32 valve 7.0L would make.and thats with little bitty cams, stock heads made for gas mileage, small intake, stock exhaust. If you go high performance like the 427 youre talkin about, the 7.0L DOHC would be bout 700hp.DOHC>PUSHROD!

  • @NWpowerhouse85 I think youve been watching clueless too much.cause you use the word clueless too damn much.dork! If you dont know my point, lol, youre dumb as shit! My fuckin point is DOHC 32 valve is better in everyway than old school pushrod.only a dumbass holds on to old and outdated technology.Do you like old technology?ever seen a pushrod Lambo?or a pushrod Ferrari?or a pushrod Porsche?didnt think so.lol.bottom line is you can make HP easier with a DOHC engine.and get better gas mileage.DOHC

  • @dkill429 the point in my previous post is I've owned 4 5.0s...3 89s and the 94 I just spoke of...I didn't cam it cuz I wanted it to run smooth similar to my old 4.6 dohc mod motor. if I want more power in the future I'll throw a vortec on it. before I do that I'm doing full suspension mods and a cobra brake mod I wanna make it as quick as possible n/a with no cam. it's a budget buildup cuz i just have 1500 in all of it...n/a cobras are fast but you have to rev them to the moon to get power

  • @dkill429 I did that cuz that's a crazy good deal for a excellent condition 94 style cobra intake witha bbk 70 mm tbody all for 400 shipped...point being having owned both parts are much cheaper for the 5.0 and it has a much broader torque curve, ecspecially i the lower to mid range. the only way to have that kick ur ass feeling out of a 4v at low rpms is kenne bell it...or put 4.56s...I had a cai, hpipe, flowmasters, 4.10s in my 97 and the car I have now is about the same as far as speed

  • @NWpowerhouse85 its cool if you just like the pushrod engine cause its a little cheaper to get parts for,but to say they make more hp per liter than a modern DOHC 32 valve engine is 100% pure fuckin retarded.lol.if 2 engines are exactly the same(same size everything) except 1 has DOHC 32 valve heads and the other has pushrod heads, the engine with the DOHC heads will make lots more hp.ever wonder why cars dont come out with pushrod 4 bangers anymore?cause DOHC 4 bangers make way more hp.lol.fact.

  • @dkill429 ok I'm going to chime in. before I say a word I'm going to say I have owned 6 Mustangs...3 1989 GTs which were mostly stock with K&ns and exhaust and one had 3.73s...then I got a 97 cobra...dohc 4v 4.6. then i got a 347 stroker 95 gt (330 rwhp)blew the motor and traded it for a bolt on 94 gt which I now have full bolt ons including pullies and an msd box..cold air k&n to tbody, equal length shorties, hpipe and flows now I have ported gt40 irons and a cobra intake w 1 inch spacer...

  • @dkill429 and also as you stated the parts for the 5.0 are cheaper...hence the 1500 I have in mine...no they're not fancy aluminum heads but they are ported gt40s with upgraded valve springs and are in great shape I paid 400 for them shipped which is a pretty damn good deal. the cobra intake (which came off a 94 cobra and is in great condition...so I wouldn't have to have the elbow to the tbody cuz it's already made into the intake and it came with a bbk 70 mm tbody for 400 shipped)

  • @NWpowerhouse85 a pushrod 4 banger cant even compare to a DOHC 4 banger.when honda started makin DOHC civics, people were like holy shit, this DOHC 4 banger beats the shit outta my old pushrod 4 banger.lol.this example proves my point than DOHC is better at making hp than old school pushrod.hp just comes lots easier with DOHC.4 valves move lots more air than 2 valves do.simple.its just physics.the death of 4 banger pushrods is proof that DOHC is better.dont you get it yet?damn.youre hard headed!!!

  • @NWpowerhouse85 been makin my point, youre just too blind to see it.lol.here you go...DOHC IS BETTER THAN OLD SCHOOL PUSHROD!!!! GET IT???yes the 1995 and 1996 gt's have the exact same hp.215hp.those 2 cars are dead even in a race.Ive raced them.5.0L isnt shit.just an oversized pushrod engine.it doesnt have anywhere near the hp efficiency of the DOHC engines.period.FACT.youre just mad your brain cant come up with facts to back your shit up.All you do is flop your jaws.but no logic comes out.DOHC!

  • @dkill429 Here's the difference. Price parts for a 5.0, then price parts for dohc 4.6. Yep, it's definitely cheaper

  • @vabch82 yeah but the 4.6 DOHC makes more hp per liter in stock form than any old school 5.0L pushrod engine.and it gets lots better gas mileage too.cant throw a pushrod in a modular DOHC engine either.cause they dont got pushrods.the fact that 5.0L pushrods are cheaper is the only defense 5.0L fans have against the 4.6 DOHC.and the 4.6 DOHC is low compression.the 5.0 is not.and still the 4.6 makes WAY more hp in stock form.all non boosted 4.6 DOHC's are 6 bolt main too.makes em better for boost

  • @NWpowerhouse85 PRODUCTION CARS!!!! not crate engines...lol

  • @dkill429 I'm going to respond to the FIRST coherent post that you've made so far, these engines, when PUT on an engine dyno, WILL NOT MAKE 550+ horsepower. I'm done talking to you, good day, faggotier.

  • @dkill429 so if the 94-95 gt has 215 hp why do they consistantly put down 190-195 rwhp stock...cuz they really have about 225-230 hp stock. the first gen 4.6 was crap...the dohc is great...the gt is shit...it was rated at 215...might have been OVERRATED if anything. I crushed one by 3 car lengths in my 89 GT I used to have. it was stock btw. they don't have near the low and midrange of a 5.0. if I could afford a new 5.0 I would get one not everyone can...but my old 5.0 won't be far behind

  • @dkill429 the most powerful built 302s out there....so, there's your technology thrown out the window jackoff, there are naturally aspirated race 302s making 900 horsepower, with CARBURETION.

If the 5.0 is dead, then why is the aftermarket FLOODED with parts for it, and STILL making more?-----it's because it's an iconic motor, that's still extremely popular.

Again, you make no sense, you claim that you're talking about one thing, even though you mentioned something else, AND

  • @NWpowerhouse85 everything i said is 100% pure fact.the stock 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L DOHC 32 valve makes more hp per liter than ANY stock N/A pushrod engine on planet earth.the new 5.0L DOHC 32 valve ford engine makes 82.4 hp per liter.the big 7.0L only makes 72.1 hp per liter.Well, lol, thats the end of that argument.nothing like math to prove a point.32 valve DOHC makes more hp per liter than any N/A pushrod engine.you like to say people are stupid but you cant back your shit up.lol

  • @dkill429 you're very ignorant on everything you talked about.

Do yourself and everyone else a favor, you putz, get a fucking clue.

  • @NWpowerhouse85 the pushrod 5.0L ford engine is junk compared to the new modern 32 valve DOHC 5.0L.A stock 1995 cobra 5.0L(240hp) pushrod would get raped by a 1996 svt cobra 32 valve DOHC.the 1995 5.0L cobra only got 14.5 sec 1/4 miles.the 305hp 1996 svt cobra DOHC 32 valve gets 13.7-13.8 sec 1/4 mile times.lol.DOHC 4.6L with 305hp is faster and gets better gas mileage than the old school pushrod 5.0L.bottom line is DOHC makes more hp per liter than ANY stock pushrod engine. 5.0L DOHC>427ci 7.0L

  • @NWpowerhouse85 the stock Z06 427ci pushrod 7.0L vette engine makes more hp per liter than any other stock pushrod engine pretty much out there.it blows away the hp per liter ratio of the 5.0L pushrod any day.and even the big bad 427ci 7.0L cant top the hp per liter ratio of the new 5.0L DOHC 32 valve.ok,lol, this is your homework, try and find a stock pushrod engine in a production car that makes more hp per liter than the 2011 Mustang GT 5.0L 32 valve DOHC.not gonna happen.im stupid?lol, prove it

  • @NWpowerhouse85 so instead of just simply saying someone is ignorant, how bout you use your brain and prove that my facts are false.lol.NOT GONNA HAPPEN.All you can do is SAY someone is stupid.that is the extent of your brain power.Even ford has been quoted saying the DOHC engine is years ahead of old school pushrod.they did tests to prove the 4.6L DOHC was better in every way than the 5.0L pushrod.thats why they approved the 4.6L DOHC 32 valve for the 1996 svt cobra.cause its better in EVERY WAY

  • @TravisCadello first off im a 4.6 fan second off the 5.0 was really a 4.9 and they where shit i know at least 12 people that have blown the damn motors in there fox bodies

your probably right about the power gains but i would rather spend 800 on my motor than waist 400 on a pos 4.9 or 5.0 as everyone calls it

  • the 94-95 5.0's had 225 hp stock. 96-97 4.6's had 215. and the 98 4.6's had 225 stock also. so no difference really. the fact that its a stick helps alot also

  • the automatic sn95 gt's are just a hair faster than a 5 speed gt.nothing like keeping your foot to the floor board on an automatic when beating a 5speed gt.and the 4 speed keeps the gt in its torque and hp better than the 5 speed.5 speed stays in the higher rpm's where the hp is lower.they run out of breath real fast stock.they need P.I.heads bad.lol

  • @dkill429

but your not understanding drivetrain loss...where the automatic's..especially stock ones without a stall converter and shirt kit and stuff...have alot more drivetrain loss than a 5spd car does..they actually need the pi intake just as bad if not worse..ever compare the two side by side..its embarrasing!

  • @Speedstang460 dude, lol, the pi intake comes with the pi head swap kit.not even sure if the non pi intake would even work on pi heads.kinda understood to change the intake too.lol.oh,and the auto only uses bout 5% more hp to run.the 05 and up gt's got good auto trans.stick=bout 15%loss.auto=20% loss.its in all training books on transmissions.vary 1 point or so.pi heads will make WAY more hp than the pi intake alone.lol.got 2 auto sn95's.1 stock 1 not.stock 1 will beat 5spd gt everytime.and 5.0's

  • the sn95 5.0L GT's have bout the same hp as a 4.6L.but the 4.6L has more of its hp in the upper rpm's.this results in a slightly faster gt.look it up.5.0 magazine covers this fact.1998 gt stock has 225hp.the new s197's have 315hp.this 98 gt is not stock.or the 06 is sick.

  • Are thoes cars stock

  • haha, the 06 maybe stock. but the 98 got PI swap and tons of goodies on it

  • WRONG! the 06 is a buddy of mines and its got mods.

    gears, intake, exhaust and tune,

  • @Gus98GT your 98 how much did you lower it

  • so what you are saying here is FuckingOnlyRunsDownhill decided hey after 10 years lets make something slower than our old POS cars.... THATS A GREAT IDEA

  • nice stang man. SN95s all the way. ive got a 98 myself. i dont post too much vids of it. not recent ones atleast. its sweet. ive got a steeda conversion :)

  • ford said 98's were the worst year they made mustang the best was when they came out with the 06 mustang and the boss 302

  • Lighter than the 06

  • yeah by 200lbs! LOL big DEAL

  • actually 200 lbs is a big deal. changes the power/weight ratio for sure

  • @Gus98GT i think its more like 500lbs... the 98 GT weighs in at like 3200lbs the 05 models weigh in around 3700lbs... so whats done to your GT? looks good!

  • @Gus98GT Better than nothin

  • @Gus98GT you make up the other 200 lbs and add another 200 with your 400 lbs gorilla ass dicksmack

  • nice car. i like the cobra hood. my 96 gt is same color. chrome cobra "R" rims 17x10 rears with a pi swap and mach 1 auto, 3.55 rear

  • pi swapped?

  • Is dat O FO SHO......SN95FORUMS FTW!!!!!

  • sweet sn95, Gus

  • What are you stupid? Could you not hear the 4.6 v8 ? Oh because it didn't have the lame gt side emblem it must be a v6. and you calling someone else a dumbass is funny.

  • look idiot i already apologized to da author and i said it was a 6 cuz i saw the pony beside the door

  • ok asshole . But I didn't see where you apologized.

  • i sent him a message

  • We knew this already! Dig, dig ,dig!

    Nice runs tho.
