Good job, so proud to see my muslim brother praying the fajr prayer! I like to see the video, may allah reward you for making the efford of getting up early and going to pray the fajr prayer in the Mosque!
As Salam Aleikum... wish you had put subtitles and english translation... I'm a new sister, and i'm still learning about the daily prayers and all.... can you do that please? i would really appreciate... thanks... very nice video... :-D
I love how you tell us what is going to happen next =) I also love how there are tissues on the floor, it makes the video more realistic and not so 'studio'.
There is NO evidence to state that the prayer for the men and women are different. Hence we follow the Prophet Muhammed as he has said 'Pray as you have seen me praying.' Salilahu alaihee asslam, it was authentically narrated that when praying the whiteness of the prophets armits was visible, this applies to both the MALE and FEMALE. Also, there is ikhtilaf as to whether one can touch the Qu'ran with wudoo or not. Most of teh evidence suggest that one does not need wodhoo. Allahu'Alam
I'm jelous now that I have watched that video because I just wake up, pray maybe do tasbeeh and then I must leave for school... We don't have a nearby masjid and I feel I barely have time in the morning to get ready for school even though I try to wake up before prayer... Mashallah great video. and what a great person to do this... may he be rewarded.
Mash'Allah! This is a wonderful video. I'm a new Muslimah so waking up for fajr is new to me. It's a blessing though, as it is a peaceful time to pray to Allah. I am lucky, since I am a Muslimah I pray at home. A serious question to any brothers or sisters...I know that you must have performed wudu to touch a Qur'aan. Does the same thing apply to a translation in English, but with the actual Arabic word of Allah beside it? Jazakallahu Khayra! :)
u mest do wudu when u read the quran, doesnot matter if it is a translation or if it is in an other language. Arabic was the language used or most known at the time the quran was written.
reading the translation is not considered as reading Quran. So, it doesnt require wudu. Howerver, the reading of the translation is rewardable just as any other Ibada( worship act) if u had proper intention( niyah)
@Marilynn33 Salams.. regarding your question, u can actually touch al-Quran only if u have performed the Wudu. But for the Quran which have e english translation (or other language),u can touch them even if u have'nt take your wudu. We also should check the Quran whether the actual arabic word of Allah swt is tally with the translation. If for eg the actual arabic word of Allah swt have more content than the translation,it is a must to take Wudu. If its have 50:50 content, its ok w/o wudu. =)

I have an Azan in my handphone which i set as an Alarm clock. Masha'Allah it is very effective in waking in Fajr, U may try it also it is indeed very effective.
i wish i was man enough to that bt inshalah 1 day soon every 1 make dua 4 me u neva nw whos dua might gt accepted an inshallah in return may Allah grant u jannat firdos.
The Prophet (pbuh) said: "There is no prayer more difficult to attend for hypocrites than Fajr and Ishaa. And if they knew what's in them (i.e. the good reward - thawab) they would attend them even if they had to come crawling." (Narrated by Bukhari)
JazakAllah Khair brother, I envy you, ALHUMDULILLAH
That is false. The evidence states that it must be from the shoulders to the knees. This is evident from the hadith that states that the Companions could see the white underneath the arms of Rasoolullaah صلى الله عليه و سلم. This is how we know that when we pray alone our arms should be wide not right next to us like they are when in a row.
This is great. Shows who the tough really are.. a man who'll get up faithfully like this is the type I would want to keep close to my family and as a friend.
Q: do you have an alarm clock that calls out the Azan?

You have to do wudu to touch the real original Quran, for translations you don't have to do because it is not the Quran, just a translation.
But correct me if I am not right.
