  • they are a fuckers

  • too much attitude to be needed to read the lyrics.

In a nutshell, band is great but singer needs to stop smoking grass and memorize the lyrics.

  • i wish some singer like that existed near me, he's great. great cover btw

  • lead guitarist u r ok.. but since u r going to make a solo of your own, then at least try to make it at same level as the original song.. plus u need a Les paul to play GNR, cuz of its sound, the way it looks.. u cant play slash with any other guitar other than a les paul..

  • @YoAmAGangster DUDE yeah you can it doesn't matter on the guitar the guitar is only as good as the player behind it and he definatly proved it he had a good vibe and put up a show and he wrecked it definatly one of the best covers iv'e seen on youtube( i mean by drummer and lead guitar)

  • @YoAmAGangster oh sorry, I didn't know I had to go out and spend 4 grand on a les paul to be allowed to play gnr covers.

  • @Jonodactyl lol 4 grand?? u r funny... Dude i didnt say u must have a les paul to play GnR. But u have to have one y'know. If u understand what i'm saying then u will understand the difference between "must" and "have to have"

  • @YoAmAGangster dude plus slash did not use a Les Paul on Nightrain he used a Jackson guitar with a whammy bar

  • @slimyesli

No? he used the derrig LP for ALL the songs on appetite.

  • @jimamundo nope on nightrain he used a Jackson or a guitar similar with whammy bar and on My Michelle an SG maybe also on other songs but thats the ones i know

  • @slimyesli

    yeah.. those are unproved rumours.

  • @jimamundo hmm slash said it in his book...

  • @slimyesli

    umm no, ive read it.

he was going to use it. then he didnt/

  • @jimamundo yeah theres that but im 100% sure that on nightrain he used a whammy bar guitar and a SG on My michelle

  • Gukes!

  • hey,

a friend and i are auditioning for the bachelor degree in contemporary performance and i was wondering if u recommend this course on guitar or if u have friends that recommend it and if its worth the price? we went to the open day and it seemed awesome but id like to get someones opinion that is doing this course as well..

    thanks

  • hey dude,

I think it really depends on your attitude towards other genres of music. You won't be playing rock and metal stuff most of the time but if you're really open to other music, you will learn SHITLOADS. I absolutely love it here. Also I've heard from many people that the music courses at JMC and UWS are way too easy and basic, so if you're deciding between music courses AIM is definitely the way to go.

  • this sounds like the course for us.. thanks alot dude! i might even see you there.. if we get in lol.

    peace!

  • As a graduate of AIM I'd seriously advise against going there. If you're considering it, please think about these points before doing so:

    1. Look at your favourite artists/bands - who among them went to AIM? Or any music school for the matter?

    2. As with any form of formal study, you MUST go to the source. For instance if you really wanted to study Indian music, you'd need to go to its source - India. The source of contemporary music is not Australia - it is America. Why pay (and you will

  • pay a LOT at AIM) for a copy when you get the real deal elsewhere?

On top of that the teachers at AIM are essentially people who's career's have gone nowhere which is precisely why they need to depend on a place like AIM to make a living - not exactly the kind of people you want to be taking career advice from. The cruellest blow (and this is something many an ex-AIM student has said) is that long after you've graduated and are stuck with a hefty fee-help bill, you'll realise virtually all

  • of what you've been taught at AIM will do you very little good in the real world...which brings up the third and final point:

    3. Who has AIM produced that has gone on to achieve anything significant in music?

  • sorry :(

  • wallace sucks

  • does he really have the song infront of him on the stand? lol learn the song and then sing it. But this cover is amazing!

  • he could be using ONLY a cowbell and still be better than you.

  • hahahaha would like to see this guy PLAY =_=''

  • Good Work Jono nicely done ^^

  • Jono wins the game, cool. :D

  • woooooh

  • you guys suck, get lost why would you ruin a song like that? specially the vocalist WTF IS HE DOING? GOD HES TERRIBLE, OH DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THAT ASIAN GUITARIST..... MY GOD =_="

  • Jonodactyl likes this.

  • honaru you fail. they nailed this song. i wanna steal the vox for my band.

  • LOLLLL Check my profile TALDF.... Vox = me.... Thanks for compliment hehe

  • yay!
