  • is hair shedding natural for teenagers? I dont have any locks or braids...Im a guy by the way.

I use heating protecting sprays too.

  • Hello, I'm actually a African American male. Do you know a type of shampoo and conditioner that has herbs and natural nutrients in it, and doesn't have harmful chemicals, like Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate?

  • @Dante121892 Hi, the kinky curly come clean shampoo is natural and it's great. I've never found another shampoo like it, and it doesn't have any chemicals that are harmful to your hair in it. Most people just use conditioner though....something like swave naturals....they have assorted scents. Conditioner by itself will get the job done.

  • @cjizzleismynizzle thank you for the advice! =]

  • thank you so much i have been wondering how to trim my natural hair... so all i have to do is blow dry it

  • PHEW!! I was freaking out

  • yay boston naturals!

  • How much time do you need to wait in between flat ironing and other heat styles

  • Thank you sooo much for this video. It was very helpful!

  • My daughter hair has nothing in it so this vid helped me out with triming it. Thanks

  • hello i have a questions where is your salon.

  • @pintofow Hi, Im lovated in "THe BIz" salon? barbershop in Mattapanl

  • thank you

  • is it still ok to trim your hair while its a little damp? Thanks for the info!

  • hi i want to know its it better to trim your hair when you relax it or condition it. plz let me know cuz i have bad breakage and split ends. let alone i never had my hair trimed before so plz help thank you.

  • @ItsWatever90

it is ok depending on the texture, the tighter the curl the more blown out u will ned it to be in order to get a nice even trim

  • @ItsWatever90

Im unsure of the question, but u defintelt need to trim whether u relax or condition, your hair will not reach its full potential if u dont

  • as naturals i dont believe we need to trimm our unless we damage it or a knot or something.

  • I have the problem of my hair shedding all over my floor, its not long hairs but lots of tiny, tiny ringlets that cling together and is very annoying. I have no idea why and how to stop it, any advice?

  • @TRUDIVASHN Wow, I have that same issue. I have to agree that it's very annoying. I wonder if it has to do with breakage of the ends?

  • so shedding is really normal??? cuz my hair does this.. the strands r long that shed and itll b like a few hairs here and there on my shoulders or my clothes throughout the day!!! it was scared! lol im glad i found out this is normal!! thank god!

  • does shedding also causing tangles??

  • OMG thank you. I was getting kind of scared about the shedding!!!

  • Thank you for the info!!! I was a little worried about my hair because it has not been shedding a lot lately, but I neglected the fact that I had my hair in two strand twists for a week :) Thanks again

  • got a trim today and she didnt trim my head she CUT it. my hair could at first reach the bridge of my nose, now it reaches my eyebrows. i'm still sexy but dang! i hate scissor happy ppl, im gonna start going to a male barber. and i pay 12-15 dollars for a trim.

  • No. That's not right. I'm upset for you girl.

  • Wow. your hair is simply gorgeous. how long is it?

it looks really long and can u post some pics of REALLY long loc hairstyles if u have them please. My locs are knee length.

  • Great vid and very informative! You and your hair look great by the way :)

  • Do you have any advice for dry and brittle hair. I have been natural for about 7 months and it has been a struggle to keep my hair moisturized. I have recently decided to try making my own moisturizer to see if it helps better then the store bought products. However, I was told that my hair PH level is probably too high. Any advice?

  • Well, a pretty good moisturizing conditioner anyone can get iis actually Nutregena Triple moisture, other than that, profetional treatments include, S factor and biosilk.Try condiong once a week even if u dont wash it squeaky clean that often, try to hold onto as much moisture as possible, just wet your hair, spply treatment, let sit for 15 min. with cap and rinse, u dont always have to wash when u condition your hair.

  • This video was very helpful. I have been natural for almost 1 year now, and I was not sure how often I should be trimming it. I will definately put your advice to use!

  • I havent trimmed my hair because Im not sure what to trim. I mean when its relaxed u can see the split ends. However my hair is natural of course and I dont know what needs to go. How do you tell?

  • Well, to REALLY see the split ends u need to at least bloww out your har with a blow dryer and then flat iron, this will give the CLEAREST picture if what needs to go

  • Hi, I do not have much experience with hair that has been taken out of locks, but I would say you need a good amount of the unlocked hair trimmed and then just do a deep conditioning treatment once a week for a month or so and then maybe once every other week after that, hope i helped U!

  • how do u unlock locks

  • @queenofsheba1000 U pick them out very slowly and lose a lot of hair from botom to root, in my opinion its not worth it for most people, just grow out a whiole bunch of new growth then cut!

  • Great video! Very informative! I do have a question, I'm taking my locs out after 10 yrs of growing and restarting my second set. Do you recommend any treatment I should do to make sure my ahir stay strong and healthy?

  • why are you taking them out?
