I would say its the now discontinued 2.0 TDI (110ps) - the 1.6tdi (105ps) has now replaced it (single tail pipe)

This is a 1.6 cr Tdi: 5gang transmission and the tacho scaled 240 no 260 and the notorsound is not 2.0l ... LOL

this is 2.0 tdi 90bhp. double exhaust pipe+ without any red letter on back on TDI.

in another words: the worst tdi engine. if compared with 1.6 tdi (105hp), waste of money.

nope... (just like I do = thinking good stuff about the engine) btw... it's more economical than the 140hp version but it misses a 6th gear... my dad has a mk5 golf variant 1.9tdi 105hp and it misses the 6th gear as well... but it doesn't actually matter... our top speed = with the 6speed topspeed...

If the "difference" is really only about the top speed then for me It does not matter sinche I usually drive within the limits and enjoy the car more on "low revs" and when overtaking!

that is because it is a diesel. if you buy the petrol version it redlines at the normal 7500 or something like that. diesels don't rev as high. my 2000 golf tdi redlines at 4500 rpm
