Just west of Fort Point, you will find Dead Man's Break. Rumor has it that, this little cove is where many of the bridge jumpers end up, hence the name, but if you don't know what you're doing, it's how you might end up, considering the rocks and the locals.
it used to be that way. now it's just over-run by everyone trying to get a piece. not bad if you like fighting crowds for minimal waves. much better spots are to be found north of the bridge and emptier.
i surf kelly's almost every day and from personal experience id have to say its only crowded when the sun's out. most people arent willing to surf in ice during the winter, especially when its double-triple overhead. fog keeps em out too
not that nice of a wave lol....
and i think i would rather go on a wave that i can go right or left without worrrying about going straight into the cliff

Meh, there are no secrets in SF. It looks like Dead Man's, or somewhere along that stretch off Ft. Miley.
