@cvbo3 the anime is based off a book. well, its called a visual novel. its a book with voice acting and CG pictures for the story. it has 3 stories. each story is a parallel universe, and the anime version having shirou at his lowest of capabilities. watch this clip from the book to get a good example of what i'm talking about.

Also in the UBW vs HF Shirou comparison, let's not forget the fact that HF Shirou's best works needed Archer's arm, and it breaks down his body. UBW projected his own UBW and Rho Aius, without any help.

1. He wins the fight against Gilgamesh using Unlimited Blade Works (1vs1)

2. He wins the fight against Archer (1vs1)

3. He kills Dark Berserker (1vs1)

4. He kills Dark Saber with help of Rider (1vs2)

5. He almost kills Dark Saber, but his mind got destroyd because of the projection (1vs1)

6. Killing Dark Berserker and Dark Saber while his projection is killing his body and mind.

7. He saves Sakura from Angra Mainyu.

The anime should have been alot beter if they were to follow Unlimited Blade Works route or Heavens Feel.

in the anime we saw unlimited blade work only once and it was when archer was fightning against berserker and died. and shirou was like totally weak until the last episode when he handled a guy but with alot of trouble. so the anime cant be the same as in the game

With Unlimited Blade Works and Heavens Feel I meant the route of the game.

Fate/Stay Night has 3 route's

1.Fate route (Saber)

2.Unlimited Blade Works route (Rin)

3.Heavens Feel route (Sakura)

In Fate route Shirou was at his weakest in UBW route he was stronger and in Heavens Feel he was at his strongest. He was even able to kill Berserker on his own.

The anime followd Fate route and the manga follows Unlimited Blade works route.

Yes and no, If you want to know the whole story then you need the game but you dont need the manga because the manga is based on Fate/Stay Night UBW route.

The game is Visual Novel game and is in Japanese, but there is a Englishd translation patch made by Mirror Moon. And the game doesnt have voice's but you can add voice's with the English patch but for that you need PS2 version of Fate/Stay Night.

Anime showd something like 15-25% of the whole story

If the anime had followed Unlimited Blade Works and Heaven's Feel, it would have been too confusing. We have to remember that these are three different scenarios/stories. Thus, the only "whole story" I see is if all the relevant aspects/connections you can only get in either of the scenarios were combined.

For Unlimited Blade Works and Heaven's Feel to be an anime, it would have to be made clear that they are different scenarios of Fate/Stay Night. YouTube has some parts of them, though.

If you're talking about Shirou himself, then Shirou is the strongest in the Unlimited Blade Works route. In Heaven's Feel, Shirou gets his arm eaten and needed the help of Archer to project Berserker's sword.

Actually, HF Shirou can't use Unlimited Blade Works. UBW Shirou can. So they're pretty evently matched, in my opinion.

UBW Shirou can project UBW while HF can't,I'll give you that. BUT, that's only because of the interference of Archer's arm(and Shirou not knowing his Reality Marble). Also, while HF can't count on UBW,he can project much better and stronger weapons than UBW shirou can(with afformentioned consequences.)

1. UBW/Tracing is the natural counter-pick of GoB. If Gil felt like using his chains or spammed all of his swords at once, he should have won every match he's lost.

5. The Dark versions lose their heroic traits and benefits. Not that Sakura herself isn't a great master but look at how being an ex-gorgon decreased Rider's divinity or how Zero Saber lost her luck due to her partner's never-take-chances attitude.

7. Rin did the actual battle.

Other than that, I agree with your on such fighting games. It IS a good thing people have Wi-fi. However, TYPE-MOON should adapt more into their fighting games, like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm but more flexible. AND guys like us should have a right to have these games shipped here. :/
