@adamischillin Often the V6 version is a better driver because the engine is lighter so it has better handling characteristics.

The V8 makes 426 hp in manual transmission for and less hp for the automatic. Its amazing how much more power is lost through the drive train with an autobox.

In the Corvette the same engine makes 430 or 436 hp depending on how its spec'd but in the Camaro it has slightly less hp in all versions.

I got to test drive a 2010 Camaro 2SS 6spd. It was fantastic. Yeah they should loose a bit of weight, but you hardly notice it because it can handle a corner very well.

The V6 model is also very good, because it's fairly cheap, over 300hp, and it also get's roughly 30mpg on the highway
