I have a similar sound coming from the front because of the K&N setup instead of stock with a nice woosh/blow off sound I just want it to carry back and out the muffler about to install a magnaflow

Yea I figure that I'm just gonna go with the magna flow muffler with the stock set up it just hard choosing the right one don't want that Honda chopper sound I do have a similar sound in the front because of the K&N filter instead of the stock one with a nice woosh/blow off sound just want it to carry back and out the muffler and i'l be happy

I literally almost have this exact exhaust setup, except mine has a test pipe and the VR resides in a 87 Jetta. But mine is in the paint shop right now, and i miss it terribly and this is not helping my separation anxiety... Thanks alot!

ya im missing mine too!!!!!!!!!!! im getting a head job and cams... what do you think of the test pipe? i want to do it but im afraid itll sound raspy... my current set up is the header to h flow cat back the the borla with no resonators... (i deleted the small one too) a month ago

The test pipe changed the sound alot overall. Its not raspy at all. But I have one resonator still, which could be the reason why mine isn't raspy. But if you run a stock air box, it seems to make it a more controlled noise.

it was way to wide for me.. i rubbed to much. It was 16x9 et15 keskins with 205 40 tires, 20mm spacers/adapters and coilovers.

ISounds good to me my friend. I ordered a Autotech 2.5 Magnaflow stainless for $484 which I hope will sound good. Also my car has really bad suspension problems so I ordered all new shit from MJM and now Im broke. I will get a video of my exhaust soon as well.

@JoshChadwick magnaflow is higher pitched and crackles more than the borlas deep throaty sound... whatever you di take out all the resonators if you wanna even hear it though.... leave the cat... or go high flow cat at least... headers add power and give more tone
