This is quite lovely.  I ought to look into more of Karita Mattila - it sounds like she may be one of the best (and few) Pucinniennes, if you'll let me coin a term, that we have around these days.

Not as good as Freni whom I saw in this production with P. Dvorsky. Great voice that she as , most days sopranos don't like singing words and the voice is just a little heavy for this. Giordani is good but this is a tenor role for the great tenors, it's bloody difficult.
