  • @WhatsUnderTheBridge Haha I think it's really pathetic that you scrolled through 6 months worth of comments to find some one to have a go at. You need more to do mate.

  • Karate chop? Not according to Austin Powers. It's a judo chop

  • @MERVILLE3 Judo has no strikes

  • I know this chicks voice from somewhere.

  • @deamondeathstone1 it's the nurse from the sexual health clinic...

  • @WhatsUnderTheBridge Nah turns out she's a voice actress in some video games.

  • Old man having fun

  • umm not hard to believe at all they teach this to Marines, I have a black belt in mcmap but even without that they showed us that in M.P. school. and of course a bunch of Marines we went back to our rooms that night and did it to each other plenty and yes it works. Nothing crazy about this iv showed like 2 girl friends over time how to do it and let them knock me out. Its easy and it works.

  • ive seen a guy do this but slightly different..they hit the other side of the neck first that caused the person to gasp and then chopped that area..and the person was unconcious longer.

  • @l2131s you should have stayed in school longer...

  • It's called a brachial stun.. most modern combative systems use it. It's real, but it's not a secret, it's not any sort of mystical or voodoo thing... it works like a hot damn by causing a dysfunction of the body by stunning the nervous system.

  • @jdw0lfskin "most modern combative systems"? how many combative systems are there? if i don't know this one but know another, does that mean there is a gaping hole in my defensive system? how would one improve one's "systems" without ever being in an actual fight? if I've never been in a fight, does that mean my system is fool-proof? and why does fighting people? answer these questions and then i might care about 'karate chop knockout" (incidentally the only move i've never seen)...

  • is this dangerouse i wanna try this on my bro

  • umm........ why didnt we do that to osama bin laden?

  • @XxTIGERSCARxX because we used m4 assault rifles and armour piercing rounds instead? and we didn't want to "karate chop knockout" bin laden, we wanted him dead....

  • Hmm... I doubt that it's reduced oxygen delivery to the brain that caused the faint since the central chemoreceptors in the brain respond to increased carbon dioxide, not to decreased oxygen. The carotid artery's baroreceptors just got massively stimulated by the blow and interpreted it as a massive increase in blood pressure. The body's response is to then drop the blood pressure which results in syncope/fainting. All they needed to do was talk to someone who knows a little about the body.

  • @Jessir14 or they could talk to you. since you seem to have a wikipedia-esque knowledge (and tone) to your writing. if you don't know without wiki, don't bother at all...

  • @WhatsUnderTheBridge Unfortunately that tone is real- my husband teases me all the time about being formal. As to my knowledge, I sure as hell hope that the massive student loan debt I have for medical grad school is getting me somewhere. Thanks for comparing me to Wikipedia though- you made my day, although I don't think that was your intention.

  • @Jessir14 you studied to be a doctor and you're commenting on youtube videos? that massive student LEARNING is being put to good use then. i was comparing you to wiki because your comment comes courtesy of wiki. if you are a doctor or med student then you are seriously devaluing the proffession by commenting on here. and, as most med students and doctors are either banned or encouraged not to comment on youtube videos, you are a lier as well.

  • There should be a tutorial for what to do when you hit too hard, you don't want to kill a person even in self defense

  • @Allexxx96Reloaded really? what if that person is trying to kill you?

  • i can knock people out in a punch, whats so special

  • @TheJordanwright i guarantee you that this old guy could knock you out first. :)

  • @TheJordanwright i very much doubt you could knock a mouse down a hill. and even if you could, ther is no way you could prove it. there is no such thing as a youtube hardman. you fucking cock sucking, arse raping, torn butt-hole cunt. i'm waiting for my punch....

  • @WhatsUnderTheBridge Da Faq? even if you are the biggest person i've ever sen i could knock you out. it has nothing to do with the size of me ( 105kg 17yo body builder) but where and how hard i ht you. a man can easily be knocked out with a kick to the testicles. dont be a fuck-knuckle troll. if you are waiting so much, man the fuck up and tell me where you live.

  • "judo chop" n my Austin powers voice! Lol

  • If she doesn't believe it and thinks it's staged, let him chop her in the neck - answer obtained

  • @ffgew22 only if it knocks her out!!! if not then she'll just be really annoyed, and bruised...

  • This man Vs Chuck Norris would be battle of the millennia

  • @MrPeoplestv millenium, or it's just for ever...

  • 3:9 the guy on the floor moves his hand ???

  • @MRPabloEmiliosh spasm

  • @MRPabloEmiliosh because this video isn't entireley fake? get a grip man...

  • LOL he just touches him and the BLOP! hes down LOLOLOLOLOOL

  • why doesn't he just knock the fuck out of her?!

  • @mastermultitasker because he was too busy knocking the fuck out of your mum...

  • @WhatsUnderTheBridge How do you know that?Did he tell you after he finished your sister?

  • @mastermultitasker everyone has a mother. i don't have a sister. and if you have one i feel very sorry for her. having the biggest balls in the family must be hard on you. especially when you're in bed together. with your mum. and the karate chop dude...

  • @WhatsUnderTheBridge i got it wrong,it seems he was knocking the fuck out of yourself, that's why he was busy. And that's why you feel so angry with everyone, another reason is that he cummed in your face, you didn't see that cumming,so now you decided to troll his videos for some reason. It doesn't make sense, but you are an idiot, your entire life doesn't make sense.

  • THIS SHOW SUCKED,THE ONLY GOOD THING WAS THE GIRL.

  • can i fuck data girl

  • @Beardactal only if you can spell DATA right you muffin....

  • if someone allow me to hit him fair hard without moving or bklocking, Im pretty sure I can knock him out and vice versa

  • @dragonbut wow, such insight. where did you study you degree in the fucking obvious?...

  • Check out "PIMP GETS KO'd by KARATE MASTER",same exact move, but in the street and caught on tape....

  • fake and gay

  • @TheEthug like your parents...

  • I was on a course with him this weekend, he's a really remarkable guy, incredibly intelligent and showed me so many useful things, I really admire him.

  • @humanoidismalakian and he admires the gesture of you sticking around after class to suck his balls and felch him...

  • i also think the first one was staged tho

  • every1s an expert eh! ive been punched in the side of the neck and its the closest ive been to getting knocked out- i was on the floor trying to get up and my arms and legs would not work!! i do taekwondo and researched a lot of martial arts including krav maga, tip of the nose, tip of the chin, side of the neck and under the armpit are all knockout reflex areas, i agree tho the old dude shouldnt be hitting his students in the neck to demonstrate, it can cause seizures n permanant damage!!

  • If the pressure gets too high, such as by a downward angled chop on the vien, the brain will protect itself by sending a signal to the heart to stop beating or slow the beating WAY down inducing itself to not getting any oxygen because the brain didn't know it was just a temporary pressure.

  • The chop to the neck is real, but this "scientific" explaination is all wrong. If you study that vien, you will find that it has speical nerves associated with it. Those nerves measure the blood pressure going to the brain.

  • fuck the electrical equipment, he should've just smacked the cunt

  • @NooPyro that's what she said...

  • You can knock someone out with a small punch on the chin too. Neck chop is not something that is that hard to believe.

  • ISABELA from Dragon Age 2!

  • I go to his seminars everytime he manages to make it up to Scotland, just came back from a weekend in Dunoon and Ayr with him, all of this is entirely 100% real

His favourite quote is "Justu is like an egg, its up to you if you take it and make an omlett a cake or a soup" He also has just been awarded his 9th Dan making him the only person foreign to Japan to be awarded this honor in the entire history of martial arts.

  • @barnyski and the only person who gives a fuck too....

  • he should give hat whore a nice chop

    how cant she belive it

his eyes turned like on ...know im sayin

  • Lol, karate kuku land

  • why do they not just use this shit in UFC

  • @Sk8ingHigh420 because they are fucking hard and ready for this shit. oh, yeah. it doesn't mention in the video that if your victim is ready or prepared for this then it doesn't work...

  • Might look staged, but trust me - it's for real: I kid you not!

Absolute honour to learn from Hanshi Wingrove - very informative and pleasant experiences.

  • Man it would suck to be this guy's student... if it's real then u get KO'd all the damn time, if it's fake (which looks like it is) u still get chopped in the fucking neck for no reason.

  • im trying this on my little brother like the announcer told me not to..........just to be a rebel

  • omg he got knocked the fuck out

  • hahahah 3:00-3:02

  • i was in a fight i did somethin like this it actually worked he almost died :)

  • @robinsonelizabeth well done. you are almost a murderer...

  • thats why this karate master looks like he never goes to the gym and gorges on pork chops day long huh. Even if this shit is true these moves are to hard to perform in a real fight. Try doing that to a guy who's squirming and flapping and trying to knock u out. Haha this is beyond retarded, u come and punch me and i do the SUPER PURPLE NURPLE GRAB that paralyzes your muscles and makes your nipples purple!!!

  • @535manbearpig If they're flailing their arms like you're saying, take one arm, put them in a joint lock, they're down. A joint lock on your wrist will drive you into insane (INSANE) pain, with almost no effort on the attacker's part.

  • @svidBAMF if u think u can win a fight with almost no effort then ur wrong

  • @535manbearpig I believe what he was trying to convey was that more effort doesn't necessarily always translate into a greater chance of winning. By learning how to use leverage, technique, and strategy you can dramatically reduce the amount of effort exerted.

Think of it like trying to open a door. Sure you might be able to open it if you kick and tackle it but ultimately there is a more effective and effortless way of doing it via the use of a doorknob.

  • @DamienZshadow if you are stronger, faster and more intelligent than your foe, then you should win a fight. if you aren't then you do very well to win any fight. but the only way to finde out for sure is to fight. i'm going for a drink, let me know who wins...

  • @WhatsUnderTheBridge Did you reply to the correct person. I don't even understand your comment at all.

  • @svidBAMF conveniently forgetting that most people don't let you do that because it hurts so much they will not let you...

  • @535manbearpig hey dumbass go look for the video karate vs ganster

  • @535manbearpig very few of my important muscles are located in my nipples. they are fodder to your purple nurple. whereas my lead pipe is of significant importance and value, especially when used on or near the temple...

  • Oh ok, I'm gonna stand there and let you squeeze my pressure points and shit if we're in a scrap? Fuck off mate! I'll be breaking your jaw while your trying to get a hold of my nipples or whatever! Fag.

  • @fatsachs The main idea is you punch first and then you would apply these points to help take someone to the ground or whatever your planning...... In fact lot's of points you can strike.

  • this is terrible science. Data girl isn't convinced?? how do we know this expert she brings in isn't staging HIS results? Why don't they get Ricky Hatton or Forrest griffin to come in and let them chop him? There's no control! You need a control for this type of thing!

  • It works but I think these guys have had a psychological effect by their master to fall faster because I know you have to do the hit harder and it is actually very dangerous to have it done so i don't think they should be showing this on someone.

  • Trained with the man himself today and I can say he is 100% real and no way fake. I saw a guy knocked out with 1 chop and he incapacitated a group of blackbelts like they were small children. I outweigh him by about 7 stone and I could not do a thing against him. If you get a chance go and see him in action and you will not be disappointed.

  • it's not that hard to believe that a trained man can knock someone out with one chop to the right part of the neck. i mean you wouldn't argue if the claim was that he could knock you out with a bat to the head and it's the same principal.

  • @WhatsUnderTheBridge Nicely said

  • @WhatsUnderTheBridge when he takes the guy out with the brain tester its a bumffff chop all of a sudden

  • it appears that he chopped his students in the clavicle. if he really chopped the neck, knockout or not, it might be too damaging. so he's not chopping the neck. o_O

  • I still don't buy it. Why don't they have an independent observer receive the knock-out chop?

  • If he was out cold, why did he ukemi on landing?

  • @iforippon Well, automatic reflexes/muscle memory caused by years of practising the move could be an explanation. While he was falling, the brain was most likely still active enough for the body to react to the fall. But I'm no expert on this, so don't take my word for it.

  • @Rulic

Same thing that came up in my mind, it would be the logical explanation.

I really thought this was all staged at first, but hell. I might just be wrong.

  • @iforippon what are you fucking on about? the people around him lowered him to the ground.

  • @domclarke92 What are YOU fucking on about? I'm talking about the chop at 1:00 in, the one where the guy is stood alone. There's no one else there to lower him down, and HE CLEARLY PERFORMED FUCKING UKEMI AND SLAPPED THE FUCKING GROUND.

No muscle memory bullshit either, that requires CONCIOUSNESS. People who are knocked out, or even dazed, are not that graceful. Watch a boxer get KOed, their body won't respond the way they want it to.

    So go fuck yourself.

  • @iforippon yeah good lie, ugly fucking bastard. dont be jealous because you couldnt do any of this.

  • @domclarke92 I've said what I needed to say, anyone who clicks the time reference link in my previous comment can see exactly what I'm talking about.

Continue to delude yourself, that's your lookout pal, but don't get pissy because other people point out the sham you've obviously invested so much of your pride and ego into. No in fact, do get pissy, because it makes you look even more of a twat.

  • @iforippon but seriously, he didn't perform ukemi, so stop deluding yourself. And please don't get pissy because you are wrong, just accept it. Acceptance is the road to penance. And btw your line about my ego and pride? Seriously, what is wrong with you? How did you conclude that i have invested anything into this video haha? And also, the second shot was an empirical knockout, deal with it, bitch :)

  • @domclarke92 I've practised Judo for quite a number of years, I know a breakfall when I see one. But like I said, all people have to do is click the little "1:00" link in my above post, and watch the guy slap the floor in a textbook ukemi, to see which one of us is lying.

As for your emotional investment, you're the one who started insulting me for asking a simple question, as well as trying to obfuscate the issue (by referring to a different part of the video).

1:00 folks, you can't miss it.

  • @iforippon @domclarke92 grow up or fight it out. but not on youtube. honestly...

  • Comment removed

  • that is the coolest teqnique ever

  • i got taught by terry once, it was amazing !

  • MON THE OLD BOY! HE DA MAN!

  • Whose the dude in the white suit, looks like a man from the ministry?

  • Bullshits.

  • meet him then decide ...

  • I want to take data girl out to dinner and a pint when I go to the UK.

  • Anyone have a how to? That's what I'm looking for.

  • My wife's good at pinches. She says her secret is in long finger nails.

  • Oh, and I think the chop's pretty self explanitory, anyway; learn basic karate knife hand and use it as hard as you can on the side of the neck.

I'd bet more money it's the nerve overloads that causes the KO (same as a Boxer getting a KO from hitting the jaw), as the idea that cutting the brains blood supply off might be sound, but it takes 4 seconds to starve the brain, so he would not go down so quick.

  • The initial shock (such as a boxing KO) could drop him, and the effect on the arteries could help to keep him down. There is also the possible effect of confusing the vagus nerve (it runs through there) causing the body to momentarily think that blood pressure is too high, and the brain will drop blood pressure through the entire body almost immediately to protect the brain. Almost immediate dizziness and unconsciousness. Notice he is not claiming it is ki or any other mystical stuff.

  • Put him in a competition against any decent young MMA artist. Let's see how many seconds it takes for this elderly gentleman to get mauled. I'm getting fed up with martial arts pageantry and videos that portray old geezers a supermen.

Reality is just not like this.

  • There is a fine line between competition and self defense. You are 100% right he would get mauled. But take this same man in a real world self defense situation and things may be different. Everything has it's proper application and pageantry is in the eye of the beholder.

  • I totally agree, MMA,UFC, and everyday situations are diffrent, no crowd, no planing, no nothing! 110% agree

  • pimp knocked out by karate instructor-Look this up on Youtube. The technique used to knock the pimp out is the same one used in this video. Called a Brachial stun. Hit him in the side of the neck with the back of his hand. Real world application.

  • And i'm sick of disrespectfull punk ass guys like you. MMA this UFC that shut the hell up, a bunch of guys who learn jujitsu and kickboxing or brazilian jujitsu or wrestling is not MMA its a sport in its self now, and a more advanced place for punk ass disrespectfull street fighters. That guy knows techs to do what you just seen, dont bring crap to people who train so hard. MMA fighters know a hard kick and punch welldone oh and nice lock, lean some art and real techs, idiots like you ruin it!

  • You seem to have a problem with opinions that differ from your own. Too bad, that's the way the world operates. Your little tantrum and childish need for name calling only reveal your immaturity and inability to control your temper.

Also, if you are going to insult at least try to write a coherent sentence.

  • okay 1st the writing don't matter, never did on the internet, and 2nd you missed the point in that little brain of yours, you see i don't mind opinions! all for them, but yours was disrespectful plain and simple as that! Have your opinion but be respectful.

  • That old man is a BASTARD...you're not supposed to be knocking out your students! It causes permanent brain damage!

  • but you need know these things work because feeling is believing :) he dose not do it all the time to them

  • lol old man ftw

  • OMG i knocked myself accidently out!. OMFG...

  • The area he is apparently striking is called the Brachial plexus, a group of nerves which serve the arms. If you hit it at the place it is exposed, between two of the vertebrae on the neck, it is plausible to shock the nervous into unconsciousness. A friend of mine said he used to do it in high school wrestling as a dirty trick to stun his opponent for a second to get a good takedown.

  • i don't think he's all that irresponsible i mean he knows what he's doing, hes making sure he's not hurting his patients, and after he brings them back he's massaging them so they don't feel pain

  • naa he massages them to get the blood flow gowing

  • Not bullshit. Just hitting pressure/acupuncture point Stomach 9 (Ren Ying). It A: works and is B: very dangerous. Nothing to mess around with. This old lad is totally irresponsable.

  • Why is it bullshit... he rubs the neck to premote blood flow since the neck to sutch a blow, and he checks the stomach for unnormal breathing...

  • An alternative KO move would be just to kick a guy in the nuts, lol.

  • Bullshit. If the bimbo wanted proof why didn't she let him hit her? And what's that bullshit about "bringing people back" to consciousness by rubbing their stomach? Watch a boxing match where someone really gets knocked out and see what it looks like. Typical TV bimbo. All looks and zero brains.

  • i could see it now..ready??? yes...good bitch......WACK. then a face massage.

  • 3:09 look at the "unconcsious" guy's hand!! It doesn't really look like a reflexive thing either.

  • cool I'm going to test this on my neighbor's cat

  • LMAO... it got nine lives anyways.. lol

  • That data girl looks hot!

  • I'm not going to believe this until I get knocked out from it.

  • @stripesson Trust me it works, however many people can get it wrong from being taught wrong.

  • @stripesson it can be arranged

  • pure fucking bullshit

  • "Bricking it" Haha. But seriously. I don't suggest people try this in real fight situations. You need to know where to hit, when to hit and more importantly if you should hit. If you don't know what you are doing the chances are even if you manage to get a neck strike in you will miss the target and get a kick in a sensetive area.

  • I agree, and this guy only demonstrated it on one guy, not everybody is going to react teh same way. I've been hit in a similar spot with a falling I-beam and didn't get knocked out. I'm sure its possible but I doubt its a reliable method even for a "master"

  • first of all, no attacker with intent is going to stand static and let you 'chop' him; second, this information is wrong on so many levels, it might get you killed. dillman along with yahoos like this guy make martial arts look ridiculous.

  • basically if you cut blood off from the brain you can temporally make someone unconscious.

  • Okay, is there anybody but me who thinks this is a really, really bad idea, to shock the spinal column and put the brain in oxygen starvation?

  • Yes, unless you feel your going to get a beating that is? Better to be judged by 12 that to be carried by six as we used to say.

  • Lol Lol

  • 1.07-1.08 he blinks and moves hes head,he is consious.

  • Have you ever seen someone in a coma? Their eyes have movement... how do you explain that?

  • but his eyes were opened,he was watching the "karate chop" guy....look closely at 1:09,he winked also.

  • because the eyes move every one tenth of a second so tht stimuli reaches both hemispheres of the brain. learned tht in a psychology experiment

  • I don't think you need to practice for 21 years to be able to hit someone's artery. All you need is a chart of where the arteries are.

  • Why didn't they just do it on the data girl? I'm sure she's as skeptical as they come, so any effect on her would be credible, right?

  • but then she wud b in danger of being raped, better not risk it

  • Also, if Data Girl didn't believe those 'pinches' hurt, why didn't she volunteer herself to experience those pressure point attacks? That would've been the quickest way to prove whether they work or not.

Methinks that somewhere deep inside, she was a little worried that they actually do work! :-P

  • she's a "pussy"

  • @Gamer2k4 insurance I guess

  • @Gamer2k4 Insurance issues.

  • My understanding of a shot to the artery like that makes the brain believe the heart is under a high blood pressure situation and essentially shuts down (knock out).

  • Maybe there is a specific way of doing it. Like it said, he has been practicing it for year. Sure I can hit in those places but if you don't know what you're doing then you are not going to get the same effects as someone who does

  • what a gay, he might not have done it in the wrong place

  • woops i meant right place

  • It's an observable, measureable repeatable experiment, so it is scientific. Your claims of being hit "harder than an old man can hit" because you "have decent neck muscles" is not a scientific refutation =)

  • Why are they/the instructor trying to make this sound all mystical? He got shutoed on the neck, do they expect him to stand there like nothing happened?

  • The instructor doesn't make it at all "mystical". He doesn't talk about "ki energy" or "superhuman powers". He just knows how to strike properly and KO a guy. It's the freakin' TV jerks who need everything to be "OMG WTF impossible!". ;/

  • idk, i tried it a couple of times, and the only thing that happened was that my cheek started twiching... maybe i did it wrong, and btw when he's k.o-ed he could blink... cuz the body is still in the zone and functional, the brain is just gone for a while...

  • strange, it looks like he blinks at 1:08..

    hm...

  • that test is funny... the guy who get knocked out should sue this programme

  • most people could if you hit hard enough

  • with a shovel

  • If you guys want to see the karate chop in action type in karate pimp chop here on youtube. In the video an off duty cop hits an angry pimp with a reverse chop to the neck and drops him like a sack of potatoes. This move really works and it's simple. Now that's true karate.

  • Oh, I definately think it works it just seems like a punch is easier, but the only thing I thought looked phoney was those pinches and pokes.

  • No, theyre real pressure points and they fucking hurt like hell!

I learnt a couple of similar ones from doing aikido a while back and i know that theyre painful.

  • Of course pressure points hurt. But they aren't going to break your freaking arm in half or tear your shoulder out of place or something. Just because they hurt doesn't mean they're going to stop someone from beating the crap out of you.
