She was an original supermodel of being forced all around the world-Doing cover after cover-Show after show....Janice has suffered so much more then Tyra. The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency is not exactly the ideal institution for models since most clients don't maintain the ideal body weight. Only a few actually get to go abroad and work in famous fashion capitals such as Paris and Tokyo. The show itself makes the fashion industry look a bit tacky. It's such a shame because what she teaches can make the agency more authentic.

The thing about Tyra Banks is that she is really smart but it can only damage her reputation as the "role model for young models or aspiring models". Everything she says is often the opposite of what a working model is taught. She is about revolutionizing the fashion industry when it's really not being affected by her. If one counts ANTM as a something that causes change, any model or designer would laugh. The reality (not reality TV) is that fashion will not evolve to the way Tyra wants.

Janice's girls actually work as fashion models and haven't had to rely on some over-the-top reality show to boost them into advertisements that focus more on their celebrity then their validity as models--you'll almost always see "(Insert Name Here) from ANTM!" written somewhere on those ads. Not to say some of ANTM's girls haven't done well--Elyse, and Nicole have done very well in fashion--but most of those girls aren't FASHION models, they are ROLE models.
