You make a valid point. I have taken a fairly extreme stance on this issue. Out of frustration, I have exaggerated to some degree, and I apologize for that. A baby at a restaurant isn't so annoying as to warrant such animosity towards the parents. On the other hand, I maintain that movies and shows where the audience is expected to be silent are not appropriate places to bring a baby, and taking one on a plane is, in most cases, unnecessary and rude.
