im really glad i found this vid. i thought my ferret was weird for shoving her whole head in her water when she drank. maybe its a ferret thing but my other 2 dont do it.

@JncGwen Hi! Your fuzzy isn't weird :-) Ferret Isak didn't just shove his head in the bowl.. Little cutie..

My first ferret, Puzeluz, also liked to do some snorkeling.

But... TRY to make them have a BATH! Nono.. THAT, they do NOT like.. hehe...

@XoBleedingHeartoX They make that noise when excited, and/or scenting other animals, especially other ferrets :-) This kind of "talking" may also mean "I'm gonna find you and hunt you down!"

@XoBleedingHeartoX It's called "Dukking". Usually it's when they are happy. They are very social animals. If they are upset, they hiss and chirp. Some are more chatty than others.

Our ferrets do it all the time when one of them loses the other halfway through playing. The one that lost him instantly starts dooking and begins hunting for him.

@1bnbnbn Ferrets, like humans, has many shapes. This little guy got the same food as all the others. Some are big, some are very small. My ferret boy, Puzeluz, was so tiny that the vet thought he was a "she".. ;-)
