What do you mean by non-transforming? Have you removed the robot parts, such as joints, arms, legs and head? Or just sealed it up?

Either way, nice advice on the chrome tips, I was wondering on how to do that with a prime fig

he's sealed up. won't transform, but the client wanted the robot "elements" on the underside.

huh, it would be a nice model to have sat on your desk, and would possibly be cheaper than the actual model kit. but its a shame to take main feature of the model out of it, especially when it wouldnt effect the customising (aside frompaint chipping and those beautiful chrome exhausts!)

Either way, hell I'd by that model from if I had the cash :(

yeh, I see what you're saying. I think from his perspective, it might be cool to have the actual TF as a truck on display. the cuts/parts still hint that it can transform, rather than a model which would look like it doesn't. I actually have a very close model of Prime's truck mode.

Very true, it would look better than just having a empty shell. And hell, if I had asked you to do a custom with you paint skills (slobbers everywhere) I wouldnt want it to transform :D
