I won't recommend that any aspiring journalists out there try to get to the bottom of Durkin's "suspicious death" (read, murder). It will probably get you killed. We have a government that literally believes that it can get away with anything it likes. And we should also, finally, tell Israel to go f**k itself, until they explain their actions. Last I checked, my flag has the Stars and Stripes, not the Star of David. Let's pray that Durkin's death had some purpose to it.

Sorry for the mispellings and typos. Durkin's death isn't the only suspicious death of an American soldier. There are a lot more, believe me. The corruption exceeds the "normal". How about the Marines beating the crap out of 11 Mossad members who had fired on their positions? They should have shot them outright. An "ally" trying to kill US soldiers? Since when is it OK for the Israelis to be killing US Marines? What's going on here?

The Afghan guerillas will have the last laugh, though. They always do. The US will suffer the same fate as the British in the 19th century and the Russians in the 80's. I have no sympathy for that savage culture. I just think we should mind our own goddam business.

Durkin was a hero, but not for action against the enemy. Her problem was that her enemies turned out to be the guys she saluted each day. That is a far more dangerous enemy to have, and for that she should get the Medal of Honor.

Who knows what this money is being used for - bribes, payoffs, etc. But Durkin found it and tried to do the right thing. She paid with her life. There has basically been a media blackout since this happened. It's almost as if she never existed. I wonder what her family is doing now. I can you one thing - she was NOT killed by al-Quaeda. Another thing the Taliban put a stop to was the despicable prsctice of forcing young boys into basically homosexual slavery to warlords, many as young as 11. The Taliban were killing these bastards left and right, but now the Talis are out of the picture - for now. anyway. Over there, you hide your sons.

Good luck getting any answers here. Simply stated, the US is itself trafficking in drugs from Afghanistan. It's a perfect racket - fly the stuff out on US Air Force C-17's into - where else? - Kosovo. How convenient that we "recognized" Kosovan "independence". 90% of the world's heroin moves through the Albanian mafia.

The "evil" Taliban had put a stop to the poppy trade and when the US moved in the Taliban were gone and the heroin flowed again. Our government are up to their necks in it.
