  • What a humiliation for Wang Hao to give an interview after his loss :D

  • great

  • Gay chinamen sex after win?

  • @Yarbski u r gay :D!

  • ryu seung is gay

  • they are fucking on 6:48 xD

  • pas mal ryu ;)

  • Damn I feel bad for Wang Hao. Just look at his face...the face of unbelief and devastation. Then he has to be interviewed. On top of that Ryu's coach hit him by accident and spilled his drink.

  • Omg Wang Hao is being treated very bad at 9:30 :( Look at the camera man running behind him and then what happens to his water bottle... I'd like to know what he said after that xD

  • now that ping-pong is an olympic sport i need to go to seattle...and no one on youtube will understand that becuase it's an inside joke:D

  • thumbs up if they are Pen Holders

  • Where's the hadouken?

  • utopian Forrest Gump for utopian contry like EEUU.

Hi, my name is @Compantino. I have a confession : I am a 45-year-old unemployable loser living in Hungary! I eat shit for a living. When I eat enough shits, I start bullshitting on YouTube videos to boast my inferiority complex or playing chicken-shit ping pong with minors at a local club. So excuse my odd behavior.

  • the chinese people are the best playing ping-pong

  • OMG so funny when his bag drops and drink spills...poor guy..he's still one of my favorites lol but that was epic fail

  • Greatest day in table tennis.

  • Did Ryu Seung Min's coach purposely knock into wang hao's arm??

  • this was one of the most interesting olympic finals, second after kong vs waldner. it's fun to watch when it's china playing against a rival country in the final instead of china vs china

  • i can see wong hao nearly made a comeback

but this doesn't turn out to be the result.

    the underdog power

    is tough

  • Damn it, CCTV5 do need some better cameras...lol

  • That interview at the end is the saddest thing I've ever seen. As well as Wang Hao's bag and water bottle getting knocked over. ; ____ ;

  • Can anyone translate what Wang Hao says in that interview? He looks devastated. I heard they kept him off the scene for months after that loss...

  • It's speed glue.. now its banned and ryu is crippled

  • crippled?

  • yea crippled ryu was like 80% speed lol

  • that`s right, he lost againts many bad players -.-

  • korean penholders rule....the boring chinese got quite a lesson there....hahahaha

  • What is the name of the techno song that plays in the background at the end... around 7:50 or so?

  • fucking reporter, poor wang. Good your on the top now!, now you're unstoppable.!

  • it is absolutely ridiculous how the chinese reporter would even consider asking wang hao questions after clearly being heart broken losing the match....his goals and dreams was right in front of him, but had got unluckily crushed by an underdog (no offence to ryu, he played a splendid match). but dam....JUST LET THE POOR GUY GO FOR A DAY. bloody inconsiderate people these days....

  • wow, deja vu

  • hahahahaha

  • it is absolutely ridiculous, why would the chhinese man want to ask wang hao questions at the end of the match for? especially after being clearly heart broken like that...unnecessary....JUST LET THE POOR GUY GO FOR THE DAY.

  • Wang Hao is still the champion is my heart!

  • roflmao....champion of what?? ...if you mean of drunkards, yeah thats true...go see a doctor and get rid of your rpb fixation...

  • Comment removed

  • Why do you hate him?

  • he won cuz he is the best....quite simply, isnt it?....go play checkers dear tt is too complicated for you

  • just to clarify, the camerman bumped into his bag, and then the strap slid off to spill his drink.

  • what can i saw is that ryu seung min push or knock the cameraman and the cameraman knocks Wang Hao!

  • no.

  • tell me what do u really saw!

  • What I "really see" is somebody who is bitter that Wang Hao lost the gold medal match to Ryu.

What happened is that yes, Ryu did walk past the cameraman at the same time the camera man knocked Wang's bag, but, you can clearly see that Ryu did not "PUSH or KNOCK" the cameraman like you said. They simply walked near each other when the camerman accidentally knocked Wang's bag off his shoulder.

  • don't get me wrong though, although I am glad that Ryu won (I'm Korean myself) I felt really bad for Wang when he was taking that interview.

I have tons for respect for both

  • ''you can clearly see that Ryu did not "PUSH or KNOCK" the cameraman like you said''

i think u have type few wrong words in there so the right one should be:- you can clearly see that Ryu did "PUSH or KNOCK" the cameraman like you said

  • I'm not going to argue with someone who is so immature

  • i am not going to argue with someone who is so childsih

  • quiet, noob.

  • quite,nooob!

  • hahahahaha!!

    lol

Ok, let's stop this arguing aye?

We need more love in this world :D

  • ok,i love you

  • LOL

    Er, thanks? :D

  • yeah u said We need more love in this world .

  • hahaha the coach jumps funny:P still wang is the best

  • they all look so young at that time

  • KOREA RULES!!!!

  • Bonjour

    Superbe joueur RYU.

  • wang hao looks so young here

it really looks like a young unexperienced kid is being thrown into battle against an old veteran, he got intimitated, not only by ryu but also by the sound of the stadion

    he will get his revenge

  • wang hao is 25 now, at athens he was 20 lol

  • GG one can only aspire to become a part of the few elite ping pong players. But who has the time in this crazy world?

  • The most sorrowful thing happened to a sportsman is getting a runner up.

  • Ryu is so agressive and has such a powerful forehand. His foot work is great too. Really nice game~

  • this is the first time that i got the chance to watch a pingpong match. i am very impress in this sport, because of the speed, hand and eyes coordination, i think for a begginer its very difficult to learn. they are very agile and very shifty,

  • ryu have a game and a big heart!!he made something that rest of us can only dream of. svaka cast!! and he is really cute.

  • some idiot wrote that ryu have attitude problem..are you totaly stupid?!he is playing olimpic finnall and you have problem that he is shouting, unbelieveable!!i nearly throw out from your stupid comments.shame on you.

  • ryu is a king!!

  • lol damn RPH lost to traditional PH backhand

  • It was the forehand. It was the most powerful one seen and that is one reason why JO Waldner lost to him.

  • hhahaahha lmao...not only did ryu rape him...but some cool guy knocked out hao's drink...ryu's victory couldnt be more perfect

  • lol hao's drink got spilled... :(

  • lol looks like kim taek soo elbowed him

  • go korea! =^.^=

although hes kinda nerdy looking =S

  • aww that's not cool, the guy walked past and knocked him spilling his drink. ahwell, wang hao did play a good game :)

  • They're both lucky that Forrest Gump has retired.

  • ha ha ha

    funny.

  • lololol

  • @Compantino I'm sorry that you didn't understand my comment about Forrest Gump. I used something called humor and sarcasm, something that the slow-minded can have a difficult time recognizing. Oh, and by the way, America doesn't care what you think.

  • @Compantino fuck your shit-hole communist country :)

  • @palu83x00 how old are you?

  • @palu83x00 how old are you?

  • Comment removed

  • @palu83x00 everything's made in china u motherfucking bitch ass stupid fucking bear shit horse shit dumbass dirt bag ;)

  • @BerZerker97 Very true, and that's because everything they sale is cheap, and for that reason everything they make is cheap. Certainly not the place to get quality, therefore, that is not something to be proud of.

  • @Compantino forest gump is real nigger

  • Lol Wang Hao lost again, against Ma Lin.

But i personally think, that Ma Lin became the best Player anyway. Cause he had a lot of downs in 2006 and that is why he trained so much during these 2 years.

  • LMAO, they talk funny.

  • LMAO, learn some grammar.

  • Oh-Sang-Eun beat Timo Boll..playing Ma Lin next...i say he'll go to the finals and beat Wang Hao.

  • 6:50 one of the most memorable moments in the history of ping pong. The king Kim Taek Soo couldn't win the Olympic title but his trainee did it.

  • this year, china dominated in men's and women's table tennis soo... yeah

  • This was a great match and Ryu was just better..stop discussing the future and discuss this video. Ryu dominated Wang in 2004.

  • Ryu's own words after winning "I have to admit Wang is a better player than me, he was just under a lot more pressure."

  • dont understand y dey still have to interview wang immediately after the match, dey shld jus leave him alone,so much pressure on him to win that medal and more so given the fact that he has never loss to ryu prior to this match.

  • Actually prior to this match, RSM and Wang Hao were nearly head to head. Hao was only up by one game.

  • Nah, The Netherlands will dominate the Table Tennis :P.... Just joking..

I think TImo Boll has a really good chance maybe..

  • holy shit beating china in table tennis is like beating china in a chinese language contest

  • this is exactly wat these chode sucking chinese deserved, a fucking rape by south korea; china thinks that in table tennis the world revolves around them, but in fact it doesnt; look at the look on wang hao and his stupid ass coach in the bleachers yelling and beggin like a freak...this is my prediction of the 2008 olympics:china is not going to get the gold in singles

  • mudda stfu. you're an embarrassment to all the koreans. china will win gold medals in beijing. the world does revolve around china in table tennis because it is their national sport. stop saying non-sense crap...btw, i'm korean.

  • Are you crazy? Wang Liqin, Wang Hao, Ma Lin are probably going to medal - almost a lock. The only non-Chinese with a realistic chance are Ryu Seung Min and Timo Boll. Or Kreanga, if he plays out of his mind.

  • Shut up, idiot..... you hardly have any idea of anything you're talking about..... Wang Hao just thrashed Ryu, and so did all the rest of the Chinese team.

  • he needs to stop screaming after all the points

  • I don't really like Ryu Seung Min. A bit of an attitude problem. The way he shouts after every point. Like he's giving birth or something. Though he's really good, but his grip is asking for trouble. Felt kinda bad for Wang Hao. But nevermind. Wang Hao trashes him now. But I don't blame Wang Hao. After all, it WAS the olympics. Who wouldn't feel bad at losing that.

  • lol, you have no idea of table tennis...Ryu proved that he is btter than Wang Hao. he will cry again on this Olympics and you too.

  • Ok, ok, sorry..... maybe I was playing favouritism on the Chinese team there. But hey, I'll cry? Shut up man. Wang hao thrashed him 3-1, okay? I did say that he'd get his revenge on him, and he did. So are YOU crying? And Ryu maybe was better that him on that day, but right now, compared to Wang Hao, he's not that much anymore.

  • i feel sorry for him :(

  • is he still playing now?? coming back from this defeat and winning in beijing against his home crowd will be amazing...

  • i felt well sorry for wang hao at the end =(

yer i think some guy hit is arm as he was walking past him

  • looks like some camera man or someone accidentally hit his elbow... man he looks sooo sad and disappointed. No worries though hes like the best in the world today. People expect good results from him this olympics as well.

kinda thought it was a bit... rude ish.. to interview him right behind Ryu. idk its just me

  • i agree... shouldn't interview him right after the defeat, and it was in such an embarrassing location...

  • They need better reporting/journalism schools over there.

You don't see anybody in the States interview the loser right after they lost. It's always at least an couple hours after or even the next few days. Let them return to a stable emotional state first. Geez.

Wang was pretty disappointed, but when he got bumped, he was almost crying. I don't blame him though. I'd be cursing like a sailor.

Now he can beat Ryu left handed though.

  • lol, wake up chinese lover. Ryu will beat him again. The big players like Ryu win the big events.

  • The "big players like Ryu" go out in their first match. Lmfao. Check the news buddy.

  • Yeah, Wang beat Ryu in the team event but what of that?! This does not make him olympic champion.

  • I'm talking about his singles match, where he lost his very first match. This definitely doesn't make him an Olympic champion. Watch out for Wang. ;-)

  • ok, ok. He lost. But he is still the Olympic champion and he will be such forever. None can take him the title that he won in Athens.

  • With his wicked grip and rpb Wang Hao is asking for trouble...he better understand that the reverse penhold backhand is for weak players who don't have good footwork. If he doesn't stop using the reverse penhold backhand he will cry again and again.

  • Wang Hao? The world number one? The pioneer of the grip that is now recognised as the best penhold grip by far? The guy using it again and again to dominate every opponent in the men's team event and take gold? Are you out of your mind?

  • Take it easy baby. You might get a heart attack. Have you ever tried this so called "best penhold grip" ?

  • Yeah, I have, but what difference does that make? Wang Hao is world number one and using it. The grip speaks for itself. Maybe you should spend less time writing pointless things on youtube and more time watching the Olympics. You would have been able to tell that Wang Hao's backhand is what is giving him the slight edge over his opponents in his matches so far. Ryu is no longer a contender for anything. He lost his first match in the singles. He lost all his team matches.

  • That's not true. Ryu won against Chen Weixing bringing the bronze to Korea.

  • Let me explain his comment: ignorance.

  • hey, in the end, when wang hao was giving the interview, the guy that was with ryu seung min, gave a little push to wang hao, making him to spill his drink!! and was wang hao crying?thanks for the video transhuman7 =)

  • He wasn't crying. But I can tell he felt pretty bad. I would too..... who ws the guy who pushed him? He was wearing the korean uniform. Was it Kim Taek Soo? Didn't really look like him, but he was the only guy who was wearing the korean uniform thing. And I mean, after losing the Olympics, the least he could do is leave him alone, let apart pushing off his bad and spilling his drink. Hope China trashes Korea this year. Whatever it is, I know China's definitely going to win.

  • Stop being a sore loser fan. The guy who accidentely bumped into Wang's bag is wearing a security uniform(ain't Kim Taek Soo). Please be fair minded if you are a big fan of Table Tennis.

On this day, a much better player(Ryu), won fair and square, whether you like it or not. How about saving your sour loser attitude for Beijing 2008 - China's "definitely" going to win ???

  • No need to get so defensive..... maybe China won't win, but we'll see what happens..... and I didn't say it was Kim Taek Soo. But I thought that the guy was wearing the korean suit..... he might have won fair, but Wang Hao was really nervous. And maybe the guy DD accidentally bumped into him. But he would have at least said sorry if he did. But even if China doesn't win, then who's most likely too? I don't think Waldner is going to make an appearance.

  • Your words - "Was it Kim Taek Soo?"

You did innuendo bring up his name.

Wang Hao was/is a great player, and going into the Olympics, he(and China) is the best chance for gold, but that does not make it "definitely win". 2004 was a good example. In big tournaments anything can happen.

At this level of TT, the more mentally tough can win, as Waldner has been known in his younger days. I wouldn't count out Samsonov.

BTW, Ryu shouts to psyche up himself -"attitide problem" ??

  • i dont see how "was it kim taek soo?" afirms it was kim taek soo..its a question, when you ask, you dont know.

about whos winning, i agree you can never tell whos winning, but in my opinion, i am 90% sure, a chinese will win... the other 10%, splitted, between RSM,joo, jun, kan yo and samsonov, but i really doubt any of them is going to win
