Wow, a politician who actually cares. How refreshing. I'll be joining him and I hope millions of other caring patriotic Americans in the Careone Day of Action!
My husband and I have our mind made up, our vote is for Edwards. This is an honorable man, and we followed him though the election as V.P. This man is real, and has the right stuff to turn America around, back to respectability, and honor.
WOW!! Did you hear that...a presidential candidate that is articulate and well spoken. Can you imagine the possibilities with having a president that can communicate effectively by putting more than two sentences together.
I like the intent of John Edward's comments in this clip. He is touching upon many important issues for families. This is a genuine attempt to connect with families in a grounded and meaningful way. We are all dealing with our own private flood. A flood of emotions and fear. John is pointing the way out of despair. But he must not focus on pockets of despair in order to help those who are in despair. Pivot to those pockets of joy and hope.
With this 2:29 video, Senator Edwards has officially spent more time in New Orleans than dumbya ever did (since it only took bush a minute to tell Brownie he was doing a heckove job).
It's obvious that you voted for Bush and will vote Republican in 2008. You spelled it "Irak" instead of "Iraq". It's time for someone to bring Americans hope instead of dividing us. Things will be better in 2008, whether or not people like you want them to be.
I like his accent. What a sad man. If there had been no Kerry or Ted Kennedy or the democrats had chosen more wisely, he could be in the White House right now.
so what, fight all the terrorists in the world, on our time? ooooh scandalous adultery! that stupid argument is just a candle in the wind compared to bush's "150 Billion dollar shithole".
The way to stem terrorism is through vigilance, intelligence, building alliances, and *thoughtful* policy. Please explain how "cut and run from Iraq" (gag) is giving up on "the war on terror." Terror is a feeling, by the way.
Typical conservative one-dimensional thinking. It's as if you all think foreign policy is equivitable to the board game "Risk." The Iraq War is weakening our position in the War on Terror, as well as our ability to pressure Iran. Try reading a book not written by Sean Hannity sometime.
I take it you're over there right now then? "Bring the fight to their soil" For how long? As long as we're there, they'll fight us.. recruiting from the masses of impoverished Islamic youth just gets easier the longer we stay. The world knows why we're there, and its not to bring Iraq democracy, despite how easy it was for Bush Inc to spin the act of removing Saddam's chokehold on the oil into warm and fuzzy PR.
I never have and never will be afraid of the so called "terrorist"... but there are several streets in my own home town I won't drive down for fear of get shot at killed. To hell with the 'terrorism' bullshit, we have domestic problems to figure out. Let's the pscyho Middle Eastern losers make their threats; statistically, terrorism is the least dangerous issue for Americans in the history of our country.
What an idiot, this man is a liar, he used us here in North Carolina, He ran to be our senator, we voted for him, then he ran off and tried to run for president. he doesnt stand a chance, i have a better chance at winning than he does
Ask yourself this. Would he be there "working" if he were not running for president? There are enough fake people in Washington now. Why send another one?
What we really need to reject is the Democratic Party's agenda of "cut-and-run", "Tax-and-spend", "murder-the-unborn", "marry-the-unprocreatable" and "appease-the-socialist".
A vote for Democrats in 2008 is a vote that will lead America into a bright-future...as a THIRD-WORLD NATION!
Your boys had their chance, and crushing debt, lies about war, quagmires, lower standards of living, thousands dead, scandal, utter hypocricy, incompetence, secrecy, broken government, weakened alliances, new enemies, and environmental cluelessness are all they gave us. Oh, and did I mention Osama is still out there?
Osama is far more useful as a political tool if he's loose. If they catch him, what will they have to keep scaring us with? They will never catch him ... or if they do, it will be 2 days before the election ...
It's true, Mr. Edwards doesn't have the qualifications, he's never been arrested for drunk driving, ran his company into the ground, dodged the draft, pushed a savings and loan scandal with his family, had an ivy league diploma purchased by his poppa, and wasn't born with a silver spoon up his nose...or am I mistaken? In that case, he'd make a heckuva good dictator.
hmmm. 16+ comments within minutes of posting the video? what are the chances all the "Thank God! He has my support!" sentiment is just Edwards' campaigners?
I want my tax money to be spent to build them new houses, ohh wait all of my tax money is being wasted on an illegal war. You stupid fucking republican asshole.
Wow, a politician who actually cares. How refreshing. I'll be joining him and I hope millions of other caring patriotic Americans in the Careone Day of Action!
