  • they should have put this on the mirrorball album

  • Wonderful song. Keep rocking Steve. See you on the other side.

  • rock on!

  • I love this song and Def Leppard all together. My mom and I are huge fan's, I know you are not sub post to have the same favorite band as your mother that's just weird. We love the band with Vivian and the old stuff with Steve may he R.I.P

  • I love DEF LEPPARD

  • Go Chargers

  • noone says that Viv is crappy guitarist, he is awesome guitarist, but we miss Steve

  • Awesome song!! R.I.P Steve Steamin Clark

  • this song is a classic, brings back memories of life back in the day, when people actually got together and hung out in malls and concerts etc, before facebook and cellphones came about and everyone became hermits.

  • To me Def Leppard was awesome with Steve. But with Vivian their just as good as they where back in Hysteria. Yeah their not the same, but their different in a good way.

  • @RandomTeenager100 I agree. The lineup with Steve was what got me hooked on the band in the first place. The lineup with Vivian is really good too.

  • great intro

  • amazing unbelievable super song from leppards. listenin everyday.

  • let's c if steve clark died in early 1991 then mybest guess is that he wrote this music late 1989 to mid 1990 i could be wrong but this was a killer track

  • Oh Steve, Why did u leave us. :( Great song to keep his memory alive

  • This song kicks ass.

  • this track makes me wanna cry!!! :') I LOVE YOU STEVEN MAYNARD CLARK!

  • Hope they play this when I see them on the 14th Dec

  • It is one of my most favorite tracks by Def Leppard.

  • god damn steve........

  • TWO PEOPLE ARE UTTER ASSHOLES !!!

  • they should have put this on their vault album!

  • :( i miss steve but vivian carried a heavy responsibility and they still kick ass today

  • This song sounds like a cross between something from pyromania and hysteria. But I am guessing that was the point. Steve clark is an underappreciated genius. I think his playing was so unique, awkward and yet melodically beautiful.

  • @skidoofever rick is an good drummer!

  • Viv is a Super guitarist , brought in after Steve's untimely death... People forget that Vivian has been in a few GREAT Bands before Lep. Examples are Whitesnake and Best known as Dio's Lead guitarist. He is also one of the only Star guitarist that play Yamaha guitars.

  • drugs and alcohol will kill u cocaine is the devil's sugar and alcohol is just as bad wg=hen u want 2 quit u cant and GOD HELP THE ONE IN THAT SITUATION

  • @aztecwarriorize pussy..

  • Such an epic intro!

  • Who the fuck dislikes a memorial song? Fuckin' pricks.

  • Still one of my favourite songs from high school. Peaceful and haunting. RIP Steve.

  • it's a shame Steve Drank and drugged himself to death. He thought he wasn't that good. He was always thinking Phil was better. Watch the Movie. The man was a god. Every time I hear Boston's song, "shooting star" reminds me of Steve. He left before his time. I was privileged to see 6 Great Concerts and I seen them 2 years ago in Davenport Iowa. They Phil Colin did a tribute to Steve in one of his solos in the Pour some sugar song.. Great group. My #1 fav

  • @Jeepeezcreepeez Shooting Star is Bad Company, not Boston, but I agree.

  • @Jeepeezcreepeez u would think that being a musician u have no time for drugs and alcohol and in steve's case he was great musician and well he made certain decisions that cost him his life and he probably left laralaine(i think that was her name) with a broken heart anyway he was one of the greatest guitar gods of all time.

  • @aztecwarriorize her name was lorelei

  • @TheStonesfan50 thank u 4 the correction

  • @aztecwarriorize welcome

  • 2 people deserve to get that ass struck by White Lightning ...

  • Adrenalize is their last really good in my opinion. Makes you really realize how big of a contribution Steve Clark made to the writing process with his unique riffs and parts. Campbell is a terrific guitarist but not all that original. Clarky really had the goods..

  • i will always think if this pic whenever i hear or mention this song. R.I.P. Steve

  • Def Leppard would never be the same...a genious died

  • Although Steve Clark wrote half the riffs and music on this album, it was , in fact, Phil Collen who recorded ALL the guitar tracks for this album,. Phil and Steve had been demoing for the material on this album when Steve passed. Phil did an excellent job of playing his friend and colleague`s riffs and music.

  • Steve clark was the main reason I became a musician, I was too young to remember Def Leppard in the 80's early 90's, but seeing the old concert footage and seeing him, I just started learning guitar and I used to wear my guitar way too low down I was skinny and had long blonde hair. the first band I was in I used to imitate him. He is to me and always will be one of the greatest guitarist ever.

  • Viv is an amazing guitarist. I think as DL fans for so long, we grew up appreciating the sheer awesome talent that Steaming had. Anything less is not good enough. I will always miss Steve Clark but it doesn't stop me from being a huge Def Leppard fan. I saw them again this summer and it was like 1988 all over again. Rock on, guys!

  • R. I .P. steve, We miss you man

  • God is so lucky. He gets to rock with Steve.

  • Steve is my idol, and always will be.

    XOXO, RIP Steve.

    From, BB

  • Keep on Rockin Steve Clark:) your still the Legendary Guitarist in my opinion:D We will never forget u. Long Live White Lightning:)

  • I saw them live on the adrenalize world tour my first concert. could not hear for 2 days after concert.!!

  • Ya Hoo!!! ROck Band 3 Def Leppard track pack out now

  • @Jamcad01 Sorry I mean in afew days

  • Listen kids. The greatest thing about Def Leppard is that they always moved forward no matter what, always pushing their music further and further and with "Some" people laughing in their face, that's why they are Def Leppard and you are not.

  • love this band.

  • @cameronnewton1 Steve Clark wrote this stuff...then didn't have the oppurtunity to record his own stuff.

  • one of their BEST songs, period !

  • is there some guy that goes around clicking the dislike button on all the cool songs???

  • this song remembers me about steve clark the guitar player

  • @80smetaldrummer . I think that's what Phil was going for. :D

  • I have Pyromania Hysteria and this album and i dont know why so many people hate it. Personally i think it sounds absolutely great. Has some lighter poppier songs its true but it is full of great tunes like this one. They tried to do something different and ithink they did very well. I fell in love with this album some time ago and i found myself playing it almost everytime.

  • @doranemon its because people are weird and wouldnt know what good music is if it jumped up and orgasmed on there leg believe it or not.

  • great song

  • I don't understand why people always say Lep is crap without Steve. The man's been dead for 20 years. It's time to move the fuck on. Vivian is a very accomplished guitarist. He's played with Dio, Whitesnake, and even Thin Lizzy. I don't get what's wrong with him.

  • @aerorocker95 I don't think they're crap with Vivian. Viv is a great guitarist. Of course, I think Steve was the best and I think people should be grateful the band chose to stick together instead of breaking up like so many bands did.

  • R.I.P. Steve Clark :(

  • Welcome to the gates of Hell.

Well isn't this what YOU wanted?

    No offense intended to Steve

Just keep playing around in this world..

and you will join the world of

the mind programmed, sinsualism and you will be with Steve.

This a warning.AGAIN NO DISRESPECT TOWARDS Steven Clark.

    If He had only knew..

  • I wanna meet the person who did not like that song, because i have difficulties in finding something wrong with the song :)

  • These song need this many views 1322456789085966375543331352678472515263784

  • My favorite lepp albums pyromania hysteria high and dry on through the night and adrenalize

  • What the fuck are you talking about. The Whole album cept for Lets Get Rocked was great

  • I grow up with this music the best bands ever they were the real rock bands gave rock n roll a true meaning and rock bands would really rock you todays music not as good as the 80s rock n roll explosion

  • Actually this album was a Def Lep. nightmare. Two great songs. This one and Tonight. THATS IT. The rest was pure disappointment and dorkyness. After the mind blowing Hysteria album we had to endure a string of albums that only loosely resembled Def .lep

  • STUFF YOU THE RETARD WHO DISLIKED THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR A LONG TIME THIS WAS A VIDEO WITH ONE OF THE MOST LIKES TO DISLIKES RATIO. STUFF YOU AND I HOPE YOU GET STRUCK DOWN BY WHITE LIGHTNING!!!

  • The 1 person that dislikes this song is riding the white lightning

  • Comment removed

  • this album was new the year i graduated from high school. rocked it hard all my senior year and partied hard. perfect times back then.

  • Steven Steamin Manynard White Lightning Clark

  • they're my favorite band of all time! love them! can't wait to go to another concert of them!! the best!

  • seen these guys when they came here to Peoria Illinois in 93 for in the round tour they kick ass then and still do in my eyes.

  • @Basshero93 Fuck that guitar queer o is lame .... Just make him a signature guitar he deserves is soo bad

  • Damn, i really have to say, sometimes i feel like i'm the only 15 year old that likes REAL music like this....

  • @iplaybass00 Don't worry. 14 and rocking the 80s.

  • @iplaybass00 Out of Curiosity, do you like Metallica?

  • @iamaman4434 Love Metallica! They kick ass! Do you?

  • @iplaybass00 yes I LOVE them. They are the only secular metal band that has more than 5 songs worth owning. All of the other metal bands that have that are christian, IMO.

  • @iamaman4434 I know right. Personally i'm athiest....

  • @iplaybass00 LOL. It's ok. You are entitled to your opinion. Just in case you are interested, the Christian Metal Bands I like can be enjoyed by both Christians & Atheists alike; you should look up "Feed the Machine" by RED, "Back Burner" by August Burns Red, "Follow the Wolves" by Demon Hunter, & "Nothing Left" by As I lay Dying. Just a warning, they do scream a lot...

BTW, I forgot about Megadeth in my secular metal bands worth listening to. lol.

  • @iamaman4434 Ok, i think i will:)

  • They should do a Guitar Hero for def leppard with all of there songs including Steve Clark's solo (Swich 625)

  • @scoobydoolover14 Activision stated that are not making any more Guitar Hero games.

  • Are we seriously arguing about Pink Floyd on Steve Clark"s song. They"re cool but come on.

  • im seeing def leppard this summer... so excited!!!!! i hope they play this song

  • I would love to see Def Leppard play this song live I know they have before

  • @Basshero93 totally fuck ya..im not too big on the guitar hero thing but i have played and it is fun...i say a 25 song game would be great and if it has gods of war with the intro solo the game would be the shit, women!

  • Def Leppard rocks. I listen them since i was a Kid and i remember listenning this album Adrenalized with my cousins. And now i´m 27 years old. :) I´m getting too old. But they still rocks \m/

  • Tis song really moves me :) fantastic :D

  • pink floyd do a tribute to syd by doing shine on you crazy diamond def leppard do a tribute to steve, wow worse tribute ever

  • Happy Birthday Steve! ;)

  • Happy 51st Birthday Steve!! We miss you!!

  • hope you dont drink all of the beer up there steve bcause youll need to save some for me

  • Happy Birthday Steve! (23/4/1960)

  • @Basshero93 thats a great idea And the members of Def Leppard Should Help Make It

  • I like that middle riff at 4:15. It sound so much like Zeppelin.

  • This song has been on Youtube for 3 years and 0 dislikes that says something:D

  • @Basshero93 My 1st concert EVER, I saw them on the hysteria tour back in 1988 when i was 15... im sure glad as hell to see Rick Allen back playin with ONLY 1 arm & see the 1 and ONLY Steve Clark ripping the guitar all to pieces... Ive seen HUNDREDS of shows and till this day THIS concert was FVCKIN EPIC!!!

  • No dislikes for a god damn reason!

  • One of Lep's more ambient pieces.

  • im gonna go buy this cd again when i get paid tmw. cant wait. love it.

  • if they did make a GH game with def leppard all the kids now aday would be like.....WOW I LOVE THIS FUKING MUSIC!!!....kids now dont know a thing about real music, the game would prolly out due Green Day GH....it would prolly make half of them quit the game because they would not be able to keep up with rifes like Steves...

  • @xPLOWBOYx psh heck no.... some of us no music ur just stereotyping... sooo... yepp.

  • @Basshero93 steves b day uis april 23 lepp is coming to my town in april! but no steve....my dad saw lepp in 88 when he was 13

  • No one has disliked this, and for good reason!

  • Steve Clark truly was the heart behind Leppard in those early days,he was an amazing guitarist and an amazing influence to the fans,he sure is a legend...

  • i bought this albim just for this song when it came out ,it is a very dark song for the album.they need a whole album with songs like this

  • DEF LEPPARD---''WHITE LIGHTNING''

  • This is the best song on this album. Otherwhise i prefer Hign N Dry - Hysteria album before this :)

  • 0 People have disliked it...

  • This sweet song should have had millions of views. Def Leppard keeps me feeling sweet during these years of trials and tribulations.

  • For us old guys, the 60s RULE!

  • @pawpawgator Cheers! The 60's were great, i'm only 15 and love the old stuff, so don't at all feel alone, Personally, i can't stand today's music

  • Seriously what the hell happened to the music industry? I was born in 92 and for me its all about the 80s rock n' roll. Music from today is the worst nightmare ever! I love all of this music I wish I would of lived back then haha I wouldn't be getting headaches everytime I turn on the radio. Classics never die.

  • @ROCKSTAR9509

I enjoyed reading your comment, i was born in 77 so i lived those wonderfull music years while i was growing up, now i see some few good music, but the general dont interest me a bit, so i feel like i live on those years, talking in music loving lol :)

  • @ROCKSTAR9509 Seriously man, I totally AGREE!!! I was also born in '92 and I wish the '80's bands were still around cuz their music is KICK ASS compared to anything u hear today

  • @ROCKSTAR9509 i agree i was born in 92 also love def leppard

  • @ROCKSTAR9509 Dude omg same here I was born in 92 and that's exactly how I fell.All I listen to is 80s Rock n' roll and I can't stand nowaday's music.It's terrible

  • @HardcoreMisfitsFan You were born the year this album debut , SUPER !!!

  • @ROCKSTAR9509 I hear. There is a reason why many of us keep going back to the 80s

  • @incigreen Released in 1992.

  • @suemak56 oops thanks for the correction

  • @ROCKSTAR9509 I was born in 84, and I understand what you mean man, but not ALL modern day rock music sucks, Shinedown (the best band today!) Rise Against, Three Days Grace, Nickelback, Papa Roach are all really good!

  • @adamJcarter not even close to how good the classic rockers are, not in the least bit

  • @adamJcarter I've never heard of Shinedown. Can you please tell me a song to listen to from them. Also Green Day is another good modern day band.

  • @Jamcad01 oh man, get ready to listen to a AWESOME band! Carried Away, Stranger Inside, Break and Fly From The Inside are just a few great songs from them, let me know what you think of them buddy. Ya I love Green Day!

  • @adamJcarter I enjoyed Stranger from the Inside. (Kind of sounds like Nickelback) Otherwise though it is a little dull for my tastes. It's still a good band though and you shouldn't take my opinion too seriously as I am not a fan of Alternative Rock.

  • @Jamcad01 hey to each their own my friend :)

  • @adamJcarter I'm already listening to an Awesome band. Why would I need to switch? lol

  • A question for all of you Steve Clark fans. Is Adrenalize the last album Leppard put out that had songs on it that Steve had a hand in writing? This still sounds like classic 80s Leppard. So does I Wanna Touch You, and Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad The newer stuff Leppard plays is missing something.

  • @248Lt1 No Retro Active has a collection of B sides from Hysteria.

  • @devilsunhalopownr sorry dislexiya

  • @Basshero93 They should also do a Pink Floyd Guitar Hero but they won't because Roger Waters is a dick.

  • @sexykitten0627 who is roger waters?

  • @krisaf778 Roger Waters was the lead singer/bass player in PINK FLOYD...

  • @SkoolyRatt ah i thought he might have been the lead singer.

  • @krisaf778 god on bass

  • @sexykitten0627 dont u fucking dare say they should make a pink floyd game! they would never sell out like that, and for one pink floyd isnt hard rock enough for a guitar hero and havent u heard guitar hero is dead

  • @Rorschachxx1985 It doesn't matter if Pink Floyd is heavy enough. There are other songs on Guitar Hero that shouldn't be on there... Pink Floyd has some of the best guitar sounds and Guitar Hero is not just about heavy metal etc... it is about good guitar playing and sounds. The reason why guitar hero is slightly dead is because they don't put out new shit. It is just a bunch of repeats and half of the songs on there I never heard of. That is why it died quicker than expected.

  • Awesome guitar playing in this song. I miss listening to this song instead of all the popular songs that I am getting sick of listening to.

  • @Basshero93 diddo dude, def leppard all the way

  • R.I.P. steve clark, you were one of the best

  • @Basshero93

BTW, now it's been 20 years...

  • Why can't i find anything to download on bloody itunes. It's all shit covers :( This song is actually fab for working out! I remember this coming out!

  • I can't stop listening to this song, not that that's a bad thing!

  • STRONG!!!

  • shit steve kicked ass Im going to listen to this song every year on june 8th till i die

  • Steve 20 years without you... but your songs and your music still with me....!

    Steve Clark.....R.I.P

  • When I type in White Lightning I shouldn't see George Jones?!

  • This song is one of the best to honor a TRUE rock legend......i get goosebumps every time i hear it........

  • this song reminds me soo much of gods of war. R.I.P Steve clark. Legend indeed.

  • can anyone tell me if steve clark helped write the music for this song? please dont respond unless you can tell me where You got Your info, thanks.

  • @SummerAndLightningUS Steve Clark did have a hand in writing all the songs for 'Adrenalize' except for this song and "Let's get Rocked" (I checked the Wikipedia page for 'Adrenalize'). Phil Collen recorded all the guitar parts, and Vivian Campbell wasn't hired until the album was released.

  • @DukeofColumbia

    oh ok thanks

  • @Basshero93 estoy completamente de acuerdo compañero

  • Love this beat and that guitar is soooooo sexy......brilliant

  • @TAMI19701 That instumental is haunting....

  • @Basshero93 I agree! I don't play Guitar Hero, but Steve Clark was my favorite of the band. They lost so much when he died.

  • No promises, no guarantees... Sighs... I should've taken the chance back then, once I had it! *miss that special someone forever*

  • My absolute favorite off the Adrenalize CD!!

  • rest in peace Steve

hope to meet you on the other side :)
