Huckabee is not black... He´s not a woman... He´s not a war hero... But he was the best candidate for being president of the USA. What a pity. Joe Biden is going to destroy Palin in the debates. Huckabee or even Romney are great speakers. McCain was a bad election, and McCain has made a wrong choice. Huckabee for 2012.
I would NEVER vote for this guy, religion and state should stay separated. Our forefathers would roll over in their graves if they knew what Huckabee planned for America.
I wouldn't call education in a subject without any facts a true education. I could educate you on the inner workings of the boogy man, and it would have as much substance as his education.
Huckabee a Southern Baptist Minister running for Pres is said to be a spoiler of Mitt Romney a Mormon running for Pres, it is said that he hates mormons and is just staying in to take votes away from Mitt. Huckabee's best wins last night were in Ark and Tenn. Last night tornado's ripped though these two states the hardest killing many, coincidence?
Thankfully a true Conservative man like Dr. Ron Paul (who is actually also against American troops being sacrificed to police an Iraqi civil war) does not stand a chance.
The media simply will not allow him to get his message out! haha
Either Hillary Clinton or Barack Hussein Obama will win the election and either way that is a 'win-win' for people of colour.
He never said specifically he does not believe in evolution. He even said that if he was president he would NOT be changing curriculum to fit his personal views. So even if he did, it doesn't matter.
He has said that he doesn't believe in it, which is wrong on two counts; evolution doesn't require belief, and it is correct. Moreover, saying he wouldn't is silly; we all know about Republican activism. Just look at Bush's SC justices.
More directly, though, if he can't understand or accept something as basic as evolution, how can we expect him to deal with more complex things, such as stem cell research, cloning, and global warming? The answer is we can't trust him on any of those issues.
Well, if he obviously says he will NOT change curriculum that means he won't do it. He even says he doesn't know how everything happened, he doesn't say he particularly disagrees with evolution. Also, presidents generally do not deal with such things. They propose laws and acts and such, but it's up to Congress to pass such things. Congress will not change our curriculum.
Your argument is flawed. See: entire presidency of George W. Bush. Politicians with strong religious convictions are not trustworthy. If you reject reality for your beliefs, then you're a very dangerous person and should not be put into a position of power because you are not competant to handle it.
Your argument is far more flawed. We're still learning about evolution in school today arn't we? Even though Bush can highly be seen as a right wing Christian. This is the fact, in the debates Huckabee stated he would never interfere with changing curriculum to his own belief system. And if you have any reason to not trust that then you shouldn't trust any politician and thus not vote at all.
I think you're missing my point. While Bush and the Republican party have done what they can to fight against science, they haven't totally won, but they haven't totally lost either - look at the suppressed reports on global warming, for instance.
But more importantly look at the lack of judgement and logical thinking exhibited by the Bush adminstration. Sure, he may not have stopped evolution from being taught, but his lack of logical thinking has lead us into a huge national mess.
Ron Paul seems like a nice guy, but being a prior military officer, I just don't see him as a leader. I believe Mike to be a true leader of men! Great job Mike!!!

so what you are saying is that he has proof that he will do what he says unlike the other candidates he are going to say anything to get into office and then not do a single one of them.
First of all, we don't belive that God literally created the earth in 6 days. Time, like days, hours, weeks, whatever is a man created incriment and God doesn't follow it. So his day could be one of our centuries. Secondly, Huckabee came out and said that he doesn't believe that but if you want to believe that you are descended from a primate you can, thats fine with him. GOP Candidate's Record As Arkansas Governor Marred By Controversial Parole Of Wayne DuMond.
Huckabee orchestrated the release of convicted rapist Wayne Dumond. He usurped the authority of the Arkansas' justice system to release this scumbag. Shortly after the release, Dumond sexually brutalized and murdered a woman in Missouri.
Do 90% deny evolution? As much evidence exists to prove evolution as does to prove the earth is round. You can still believe in God and accept evolution. But if you think that man and earth was created in a week 4000 years ago, then you may as well think the earth is flat. Your mind is so narrow that it's hopeless to convince you of any logic.
I takes much more faith to believe that this earth and our extremely fined tuned bodies all happened by chance than by an intelligent God creating us. God could have created the earth in 7 seconds, He is Lord.
now be careful with your cuts and your ad hominim fallacies there paleobug, calling names and insults simply weakens your poor argument. You see, ignorance on both Creationist and Evolutionists views is the reason that evolutino persists. To say, "I believe in creation because the Bible says so." will not convice today's intellectuals and appears foolish. However, there is just as much, if not more evidence for creationism than there is for evolution.
Nice attempt at sounding intellectual but Paleo simply made a joke pointing out evansdrummer's ignorance. Oh and what evidence? Certianly not years of scientific research..
actually yes, years of scientific research. For instance, the fact that organisms cannont "evolve" into a higher order of organism, or how about the fact that there are no intermediate species between apes and man, the "finds" which are documented are merely phenotypically different humans or apes. That is simple. Shall I continue?
Yea sure, because you haven't proven anything. Sure the various hominid fossils found have differed and scientists are still looking for the missing link to concretely prove evolution, but that's the nature of science, research and discovery will continue until a satisfactory conclusion is reached, unlike creationist who merely speculate and use backward logic much like you.
Instead of seeing that the years of scientific research has merely made more of a case for the evolution of human and other species, you point out a small hole in the research and say it must not be true at all...surely you're kidding? Why to whales and snakes have vestigal hip bones? Why do humans have tailbones? I mean evolution wasn't all encompassing by any means, neanderthals still do exist, in the white house and megachurches across america..

hahahaha, more poor ad hominem argument, have you not heard what i said, species CANNOT genetically evolve from one order to another, the genetic code prohibits it, which completely undermines much of natural selection and therefore evolution. Also, the rock strata does (and i know this argument is cliche), along with the fossil layers, point directly to a flood of some sort rather than gradual sedimentation, which does not allow for that dating technique to work.
Actually, evolution as a theory is quite a large hole to poke at, its kind of like swiss cheese. also, note that i didn't state which Creationism i believe in, yes, i am a Christian, but for all i know "scientifically", it may be the Buddhist or Hindu, or Shinto creation sory which is correct, i merely "know" in scientific terms that Creation occured.
Laughing? You must be young, but that's good because theres still time for you to repent and lose your ignorance. Do they teach creationism at your high school?
But anyway, species do evolve from one order to another over a period of millions of years, the current order primates, which we're a member of is the evolutionary step up from plesiadapiformes a much older order of mammals which are now exinct.
I wasn't expecting to have to go into such detail but then again your views are quite primitive.Moving on, what dating technique and what flood? what exactly are you talking about, noah's ark? Much of North America and other parts of the world were once covered by oceans due to the various cold and warm periods that the world has gone through but not a flood to destroy all the sinners.
But really what do you mean by "that dating technique" You don't need sophisticated equipment to see that dinosaur bones go against any kind of creationist doctrine, oh wait mabe they're demons? Oh maybe not because we eat chickens which descneded from avian reptiles. Also you don't need carbon dating to see the similarity between humans and other primates and our shared development of opposable thumbs and upright posture
...but when you do use various dating methods to determine the age of fossils you quickly see that the creationist story, is just that...a story, just like you say "i didn't state which creationism i believe in" because its a load of baloney, i don't care what religion you are but how can you "believe" in "scientific terms"
something which you don't even seem to sure about. Pick a story because evolution is backed up by fact and you're merely pointing towards vagaries which almost sound legitimate but hint more of a childish imagination. You don't know anything, in scientific terms or not...really what scientific terms are yu talkign about.
hmmmm...ahhh, my monkey-headed (yes i can toss some fallacies too) riend, you must be old, becuase you clearly are so stuck in your ways that you cannot see the blatant facts in front of you. You say i "point towards vagaries", but really, that is exactly what evolution does. And oh yes, you have apparently studied your anthropology, but
let me restate the fact that there are no real missing links on your all telling fossil record, many of the "ardipithecus" and other "middle species before modern primates and hominids are merely phenotypically different, and i never stated dinosaurs didn't exist, it is entirely possible they existed outside of Eden... note i've chosen my "story".
I can see that we both know the long and short ends of each others stories, and that you are clearly more blind than me, but the fact is this argument will never cease given that no one was actually there in the beginning except God, so you may keep your faith based (for indeed it is what they are) evolutionary views, and i'll keep my mesh of science and faith.
Sure, teach arts and music, but don't dare include evolution in the curriculum! Though, you won't get Huck to come outright and say that he doesn't believe in it, he'll hem and haw his way out of that question.
The man sounds good but the press needs to quit giving the man a free ride. The man is thin skinned. Someone needs to ask him about the pardon of Wayne Dumond. Huckbee pardoned and the guy who later raped and murdered a woman. He is lying when he says that he had no involvement in the pardon.
Huckabee is not black... He´s not a woman... He´s not a war hero... But he was the best candidate for being president of the USA. What a pity. Joe Biden is going to destroy Palin in the debates.
