Georgia is more than just a democracy, and less than evil... it is a country doing what it feels it must to live, survive. Russia is a larger country and not doing what it should. Georgia made a mistake by slapping Russia in the face. War is hell and people die... usually soldiers. Georgia got slapped down, and hard, and now we need to support it's right to it's sovereign borders... and try to protect the rights of the individuals involved.

EXCUSE ME .. Georgia bombarded little girls and boys sleeping in their beds at 4 in the morning with heavy fire(mostly supplied by Israel and US)...Ran over civilian people with TANKS and Ive heard a story that when they Started slaughtering civilians the following morning, a little Ossetian girl was running into a building from gunfire and some georgian soldier squeezed bullets into her back...TRUE STORY..Evil doesnt get worse than that Im sorry ... YOU GO MCCAIN pat them on the back for that

A war is fought against an enemy not unarmed civilians and innocent children ... No American knows the real details about what happened NOT EVEN ME!!! The people that know are OSSETIANS...And all Russia did was stepped in to push back the Georgian forces and guess what??? GEORGIANS started resisting RUSSIAN SOLDIERS(killed russian soldiers in the process) and thats when things got hot and heavy from RUSSIAN SIDE ... SO WHAT THE FUCK IS RUSSIA TO DO ??? In your righteous FREEWORLD OPINION??

Hey... listne... i agree war is uglee... but my point is... this is not a one time thing that has only happened once, but in almost every war that excist.... not every but almost.

I really hope Georgia is able to pull through. They're one of the few REAL democracies in that region of the world.

true it is but if all the others became a true democracy Irans popularity in that reigons of the world would be able to become the leader of the countries and the USA would have a bigger problem then militants in iraq

The younger generation in Iran is not aligned with its current leadership.
In fact if they had elections today the government would look quite different. Iran is a dictatorship and they are rarely supported by the people they dictate to. That's just the nature of the beast.
