  • give the child legal rights to sue the parents due to child abuse

  • My mom was going to get me circumcised but when i was a baby iwas sick and had to have surgery done, and she just wanted to take me home. Now i will never forgive my mother. I get diseases because i was not circumcised and i cant have sex in America because of it.

  • Circumcision of minors needs to be ban. If you want it done has a adult thats your choice. Just leave babies alone please give them the choice I did not have.

  • Every argument against this ban and for MGM I debunked in my own mind within seconds.

  • If you are an mentally-healthy, adult or mature individual then you have every right to do what you want with your body. However, a parent doesn't have the right to do what they want with their child's body.

    Ban it for minors.

  • I was circumcised when I was 5 years old... I wish I hadn't been... The practice needs to be banned.

  • @ThomasJKH

For real. Not even given a damn choice.

  • I am different. I am not circumcised, but I actually want to be circumcised. Is that normal?

  • @Dave50689, since you are from the Philippines, where there is a culture of disdain for the normal penis, you may want circumcision to "fit in". But in other secular countries, most men do not want to be circumcised, since the natural penis is the norm. The only possible exception is the USA, where most men are still circumcised.

In Europe, circumcision is uncommon (excdpt for Jews and Muslims). We appreciate how the normal foreskin functions, and its important sexual function.

  • I am a Muslim and my parents had me mutilated (lost the foreskin) and this is against Islam.

Circumcision is not even mandatory in Islam, and it's not to be done on children.

Fuck, the government has to intervene. Fight fire with fire.

  • If you want to circumcise, fine.

But don't force it on children.

Thank God we can regrow it through surgery.

  • I honestly don't think male circumcision is that bad. My ex was circumcised and even though he complained about "the missing piece" (Lenghtwise), I found it much more hygenic plus he was very easily aroused, also a total pro.

  • @NichtNathalie, if you found his circumcised penis "much more hygienic", then your boyfriend is probably a douchebag who can't handle simple body hygiene. And I can tell you that female genital hygiene is harder. If women don't exercise good genital hygiene, they will smell down there too (smegma), and be very susceptible to UTIs (more so than men). So, tell me: would you like to simplify female genital hygiene by cutting off a girl's inner labia?

  • @supermomsa Don't be an idiot, a man doesn't lose his sexual pleasure once "mutilated", a woman does. And no, my boyfriend has been circumcised since he was 4 years old because of some health issue, I think something was swollen or something like that, I don't quite remember. My ex-boyfriend wasn't circumcised and I didn't find it as appealing. That's all I wanted to point out. My boyfriend still has fun with sex, he only needs more lube to masturbate, that's all.

  • @NichtNathalie, you only PRESUME that FGM is more harmful to sexuality than male circumcision is! Check out this study online (it's not unique) in NEWSCIENTIST (2002) by researchers Emma Young et al.They investigated 1836 Nigerian women; 45% had been circumcised.

The study found: "circumcised women experience sexual arousal and orgasm as often as uncircumcised women”.

It found that attainment of orgasm was frequent and equal in both the Circumcised and Intact Nigerian women.

  • @NichtNathalie But how would you feel if part of you vagina was just cut off, and not just any part, part that actually gave you pleasure? Would you stop being pissed just because it was slightly more convenient to clean?

  • It's all wrong. I'm not religious but religious people, if God wanted guys to have no foreskin he would have made them without foreskins.

  • Here's a thought, what would happen if female circumcision all of a sudden became a religious tradition of some random religion?

  • parents who circumcise their children deserve to have children

  • Ban it already and everywhere else. This is messed up sh*t. This comes from someone who is not male or a men's rights activist. I just think circumcision is wrong and a side product of religion going bad...blame everyone who performs this surgery. Why are we as a culture were conditioned to see circumcised as more normal? Sorry if that's a bit graphic imagery for you.

  • In one of the few rare moments of agreement I have with Jerry Brown, he protected the rights of Jewish Americans from these anti-semitic foreskin activist bigots.

  • Fuck You.

  • Once again, you have made me question my beliefs. I'm definitely for circumcision for reasons that are very subjective. I personally think uncircumcised penises are unappealing. I don't find penises appealing either way, but I have an adverse reaction to seeing one uncircumcised. I also experience more pleasure than I would like with a circumcised penis. Here's where the questioning comes into play. I said, "I," a lot in those explanations. They are my opinions - not necessarily unborn son's.

  • @GrifotoriaChannel watch a circumcision being performed and see how important your "I"s feel then. Maybe care about the male over your own selfishness?

  • Recently, actually, my mother had a little baby boy, and when she got him circumcised, I was all for it. When I watched this video I realized that if it were up to me, I would not have circumcised him at all. I agree with everything that was said in this video, and I regret that I didn't help my mother understand that he doesn't NEED to be circumcised, though it is going to make him fit in better with his father and older brother.

  • If it's not your body then you have NO fucking right to touch it.

  • I think we should set up a system that analyses whether or not people have consent verses just setting an age minimum. We should actually have a reason to say that someone doesn't have consent. i don't think that parents should dictate what a child's physical body should be like. it should be the individual ,the child, who dictates what goes on with their body. The only time when their body should be altered with out their consent is in an emergency just like with ever other Individual.

  • Europeans actually think Americans are barbaric for performing male circumcision for cosmetic reasons, just like we think the Africans are barbaric for female circumcision. Male circumcision is just more accepted because it's a cultural norm in America. If it wasn't, people would see it for what it is. It's wrong and unacceptable in an advanced society to amputate a body part of an unconsenting minor.

  • @indigothecat: I agree. The argument that it's more hygienic is the same reason given for female circumcision. Maybe little girls should have their labia minora cut off because it's more hygienic, it's what has always been done so they'll look like their mothers, men prefer it because it's a 'cleaner' look, it's the cultural norm, and they might get fewer yeast infections.

These are obviously completely ridiculous reasons to remove sensitive sex organs and the height of ignorance.

  • @Registerhere77 In my opinion circumcision was originally about repressing sexual desire, perhaps for religious reasons, as the procedure does significantly desensitize the area.

But today it seems to be for cosmetic or "medical" reasons-- neither of which is justified.

  • The primary argument I've heard in favor of circumcision I've heard is this one...

    "It's cleaner!"

To which I respond, "So clean it... women are taught to clean out their vaginas. (Usually.) Good hygiene is for everyone. Teach your male children to clean there."

To which I get mixed responses. "The vagina is different." "Ew, that's gross!" And the worst, "Well, it's just easier to cut it off."

  • The alleged health benefits of routine circ can be achieved with much higher reliability in either of two ways: fidelity, or condom use. Taking at face value the claims recently made in medical lit, all circumcision does is reduce the riskiness of a given unprotected sex act. And guess what the likely outcome of that will be? More unprotected sex! The "health benefits" of RIC are grounded in a flawed and naive understanding of human behaviour. Circ may also discourage condom use.

  • I don't think that they should completely ban circumcision because my friend (who's 14) had a problem with his... penis. Not going into detail, but because of him being premature, he had to get surgery then a circumsicion. At 14!!! Now if it was banned he could no longer go pee. So I kinda want other people to be able to pee, so I think they shouldn't ban it for this reason.

  • I'd support the ban... and I'll forgive my parents for having me circumcised as a baby when my foreskin grows back.

  • iv got a good story. so i forgot now how it came up, but I to my parents Im going to us my circumcision to house a penis ring and they asked me why and then I asked why did you have a doctor do that to me? and they didn't say a word after. lol

  • There is a lot of things like this happening where the parents wants the best for their child (which is perfectly acceptable) but they can go a bit too far. I think this is one of them. Whether they have a circumcision though should be the decision of that person unless it is a skin disease like xmo in which the foreskin seals itself and you cannot urinate. Other than that, let them decide.

  • I had no idea what a hot topic this was. I've never really gave my circumcision much - if any - real thought. I almost hate to say it, but I am very happy that my parents chose to have me circumcised. I know there other men feel exactly as I do. I just like it.

  • @manthongreview your views allow parents to get away with it. It's the classic scenario that your body is making do with what is left over. You have no reference since you were never given the chance to live as a normal man. You'd say the same if an eye had been removed. You'd see "just fine", but you will never have known what it was like to see in 3D. Since I e.g. am intact I can assure you that I would defend my device with extreme violence if someone came near it with a knife

  • @manthongreview indeed that's why america & americans have managed to get away with this atrocity for so many years. Precisely because you wouldn't know any better. The docs that removed a massive portion of your potential sexual pleasure made money out of that, the hospital/docs made money out of the remains YET AGAIN by selling it on so that companies can make extremely expensive face creams for women out of it. Yours included : h t t p : //thetyee.ca/Views/2007/01/30/Foreskin/

  • Your religion doesn't give you the right to permanently damage someones body.

Fuck you and your stone age beliefs.

  • Everyone i've known whos been circumcised kinda hates it lol

  • @HaylzyHeartbroken No they don't !!!

  • @TheTradWarrior the ones ive asked about it do =/ like literally i have not talked to one circumcised friend who likes that someone cut sensitive skin off there penis as a baby..... =/

  • @HaylzyHeartbroken The trouble is that these guys have believed all the hype spread all over the net. How do they know whether what they've lost is sensitive. How would an uncut guy know what a cut guy feels like. I can only speak for myself, and I have to say that I am still sensitive at age 48 (sorry to gross you out lol) but I man I know who got cc at age 23 as he had phimosis said it was the best thing he ever did. There are potentially more problems with adult circ so it's better done young

  • You fucking anti-Semites! I guess you would hate metzitzah b'peh and other Jewish traditions, just to act out your vile jew-hatred, dumb schmocks!

  • @JewishAndProud777 I see no anti-Semites here. It's more like anti-child abuse.

  • Good video. I would only point out that at 114 seconds in, there's no reason the issue needs to be marginalized. It would be better to have circumcision be illegal and provide parents with educational material.

Two recent studies demonstrate the harm of circumcision. One study found three quarters of the erogenous nerves on the penis are in the foreskin. The other found %60 higher rates of alexithymia (unable to process emotion) in circumcised men because of the neural damage from extreme pain

  • @MrJewishWarrior Jews do not practice circumcision as was practiced by Moses and Abraham. Who authorized the post temple Rabbis to change the practice of circumcision from what God revealed?

  • Good video, but FGM is ANY mutilation of the vulva, not just cutting the clitoris out. Also, the freedom to not be harmed is greater than the right to practise your religion. Without a doubt. I support this ban.

  • Circumcision WILL NEVER BE BANNED!! DO you hear me Goyim!? Banning Circumcision is Anti-Semitism! You will have to kill every single Jew to BAN circumcision!!

  • @MrJewishWarrior Interesting thought.

  • @Snordelhans What are you insinuating?! I will have you arrested you Anti Semetic beast!!

  • @Snordelhans By the way Mr. Foot Fetish we ARE onto you, anyone who hates Jews is obviously a disgusting goyim.

  • @MrJewishWarrior That is a good thing Mr Child Molester, we are onto you ourselves. Soon come.

  • @MrJewishWarrior Remember the 12 year old in Baltimore? No? Of course you do. We know what you disgusting vermin get up to behind those thick curtains in the night.

  • @MrJewishWarrior Hey, cancer Jew i will slit your throat faggot.

  • @RevengePowerMoney HAha good luck with that, I work in the senate you cannot touch me schmuck.

  • @MrJewishWarrior Then let's do it.

A parent does not have any right to physically alter their child unless it serves a medical purpose.

Does a parent have the right to cut off the finger of their child? No, because that's mutilation and physical harm.

Just the same, NO ONE has the right to remove the foreskin of their child without medical justification, without some actual treatment of a problem.

Better to kill both parents than allow them to destroy their child's body.

  • @RupertAndCheese We have the RIGHT to do it, we made it legal and it will remain that way, quit crying and find something more productive to do with your time you dumb schmuck.

  • @MrJewishWarrior Yeah, no, you don't have the right to do it, not at all. A person has the right to do it to themself, but no one has the right to force it upon another person.

Also, you're clearly either a fucking stupid arrogant prick, or a troll.

    Go away, either way.

  • @RupertAndCheese זויגן מיין פּאָץ איר מיעס גויים קורעווניק

  • @MrJewishWarrior

Actually its anti child cruelty. I'm fine with Jews. Just not with this one practice. Think about it, if your god hates foreskins so much why are we all born with them (and females with their anatomical equivalent in the clitoral hood)?

  • @tipoomaster It is a Jewish tradition that we will not consider dropping, if you want to stretch your "foreskin" and grow back a strange looking clone of a penis then go ahead, but do not for one second suggest Circumcision is cruelty schmuck!!

  • @MrJewishWarrior

Female genital mutilation is a tradition in some African tribes, should that be allowed as well? Again, the insults aren't doing your appearance of intelligence any good. "Strange look"? Its the look of 85% of men in the world and its what's natural, and even if that wasn't the case, you really want to slice up your baby causing permanent sexual harm to suit YOUR preference? Now that's messed up.

  • @tipoomaster No, those Cushi monkeys are barbaric, circumcision is a Jewish RIGHT called for by god it should be allowed in all civilized nation.

And to answer your question yes I am willing to do that in the name of Judaism.

  • @MrJewishWarrior

Why is it barbaric? You do the same. The clitoral hood and foreskin are anatomically analogous. But by now, I suspect you are merely trolling. If you are legit, again, I suggest you look up Jews against Circumcision, if less barbaric is what you're going for.

  • @tipoomaster

Also, look up Jews Against Circumcision.

  • the average American can't comprehend a peer-reviewed journal article

  • We shouldn't "respect" someone's religious right to mutilate their child before the age of consent. Religion is supposed to be about protecting life.

  • Well said, and a good informative video on the pros and cons, albeit short and sweet.

My personal opinion is the same as yours.

Circumcision for religious reasons is still wrong, no matter how people spin it, it should be a choice by the child, once they are of an age where they understand the consequences of removing their foreskin.

As for removing foreskin for cleanliness purposes, that's ridiculous (as in the USA), a dirty penis is a dirty penis, with or without foreskin... wash it.

  • finely i can agree with laci on at least 1 thing *feels happy*

  • However, it's all wrong. No one should force their religion on their children.

  • Actually, there's 3 types of female circumcision. Clitoral hood or clitoris removal, the clipping off of the inner labia, or clipping off of the outer labia.

  • heres one for you.if god wanted you get it cut off why did he create it in the first place?

  • Of course it should be banned! It's sick! HIS body HIS choice! Only like 0.006% of men left intact choose to cut themselves! That speaks volumes in itself! I love foreskin! It pleasures and protects!

  • @AlonzoSynth Im afraid men don't have many rights when it comes to their own bodies and reproduction. Men really are second class citizens. Women will always have more rights than us and more control over our bodies than we do

  • Calling all cut guys!!! There is a way to get your foreskin back!!order the tlc tugger!! It may take a few years and some dedication but it will all be worth it!! I'm 14 and was cut at birth. I will be ordering this (FUCK MY PARENTS PERMISSION)

  • Did the ban happen? My stance is it's non of the government business!

  • banning is never the answer, if they ban circumcision then some fundamentalist nuts will start cutting their babies foreskins of themselves.

  • @naturalistmind That is already happing.

  • @Nifrayu wouldnt that count as abuse even within our overly religious culture?

Allow me to clarify, i do not support circumcision or genital mutilation inn any form, im simply saying that if we ban it people will still do it, and most likely not in a clean area or in a way that would not harm the person in question any more than having there foreskins removed...

  • @naturalistmind That may be true, but the number of victims to genital mutilation would be reduced dramatically. I highly doubt that banning it would do more harm than good. Female circumcision has been banned in America and there has been no negative repercussions. I don't see why this ban would end differently.

  • @naturalistmind should FGM be legal?

  • @middy444 most definitely not, my only point is that if t]its not a medical procedure it can get much worse, i hope that fgm is not an accepted medical procedure as i see absolutely no use in that, i thought the reason for it was in overly man led cultures so women wouldn't feel as well and therefore not want to cheat, which is, ridiculous, but my answer is no, it shouldn't.

  • the religious freedom argument is nonsense, children cannot choose their religion at birth.

  • watching this video struck an emotional chord for me. I was circumcised as a baby and it left a scar(thankfully it's not really a big ugly one.). I have left my religion and am now an atheist. I am angry about a lot of things that my former religion took in terms of time that I'll never get back and years spent in a cycle of guilt, but one thing I'll never get back is my foreskin. And for the rest of my life that scar will be their to remind me of what was taken.

  • @FormerThumper Same here, but I'm a deist now. I was 8 when it happened, I didn't want it of course, but was forced by my parents. It was quite painful even with medication, and I was drenched with sweat. Doctor didn't care since he was a religious prick too and plus he got paid for it. They should ban it already like they have females. Sure if an adult wants it done it fine, but it shouldn't happen to kids.

Now I have find a way to stop them doing it to my little brother.

  • She is divine

  • You're wrong, Female Genital Mutilation is not different. MOST forms of FGM performed DO NOT cut off the clit, they only slice the hood of the clit. That form of FGM is actually LESS harmful then male circumcision. Actual clitoral amputation is rare.

  • I would never ever have it done to my son even thou his father is , this is something i want my son to have and u have a point female mutilation is banned and unjust to women it is the same thing to men i think

  • I was circumcised and since I've been like this ever since I was a baby I'm pretty much okay with it, ladies usually tell me that it looks nicer.

Still, I would never in a million years do it to my future sons. It's crazy.

  • 100%!!!!!!!! It is barbaric and a massive violation of human rights, the right to bodily integrity. This should not be a matter for discussion... but as we can always see, such videos only ever emanate from the USA where certain atocities and vile procedures are still commonplace. No one else posts videos as to whether to ban an atrocity or not. You have to see american videos on youtube to experience that. Come near mine with a knife & your body parts sliced first, because I CAN defend myself.

  • I say parents should leave circumcision to their child's decision when they grow up.

  • 1) The right to religious freedom does not allow you to inflict your religion on another, it is an INDIVIDUAL right. As an example, eventhough a parent may have the religion and tradition that a girl should be "circumcised" that would still be illegal. Thus the same should be true for boys, right?

    2) You are right in that there are no medical reasons. In fact a 2010 study show that 117 baby boys DIE annually in the USA alone from "circumcision". About 115 neonatal boys die annually from SIDS.

  • Hot and smart

  • Is the ban on female circumcision government interference in what should be private? Doesn't that infringe on religious rights too? Religious rights and personal freedoms should only extend as far as not harming another person. Circumcision has its pros and cons, but ultimately its not you that have to live with it, its the baby in question who will have it for the rest of his life. Leave well enough alone!

  • @tipoomaster Indeed! Much nonsense is spewed whenever this issue is raised about "religious freedom". Some groups would have us believe that just because their religion commands them to commit sexual assault on their children, that this should therefore be considered a protected religious activity. No one raises the issue of the *child's* religious freedom - which naturally includes freedom FROM oppressive religion. That means physically branding your religion into your child's flesh is wrong.

  • @tipoomaster The baby is blessed to live the rest of his life circumcised and reap the benefits of this surgery, it prevents stds and is overall more healthy for the child, schmuck.

  • @MrJewishWarrior

It decreases the risks of some STD's and increases the risks of others. It doesn't "prevent" all STD's. Condoms and education are far more effective at that, and don't require permanent sexual detriments. The name calling won't make you appear any more well informed than you are, Mr Warrior.

  • @tipoomaster there are no pros to genital mutilation what so ever. It only results in damage to the sexual organ rendering it only partially functional. Medical conditions can be treated.

  • @trident3b

I agree with you, but you get my drift.

  • @tipoomaster yes I do. I'm too passionate about this subject at times. Something so horrendous and cowardly about it (the slicing etc).

  • Btw, there have been thousands of cases where male circumcision lead to deaths of their child. Enjoy that fact. You are intentionally putting your child at risk of death for COSMETIC REASONS because there are no actual medical benefits to it.

  • I hope the bill passes. Also I hope that insurance companies dont pay for this useless cosmetic scaring surgery. Just for doctors to make more money. Girls are safe so boys should be as well.

  • what plesures are you talking about? iv never sat at home and said omg my life would be so much better if i had extra skin on my dick.... and what about parents who get their kids ear peirced if this is so wrong shouldnt that be its not like they can undo that when they are older (not to attack peoples belifs just something to think about and i think this whole topic is over dramatised)

  • @PopadotNpat Well, naturally you can't imagine the difference, since you have no experience upon which to base a comparison. A person born blind could never be expected to even be able to imagine what "sight" is like, and they may say, "I'm perfectly happy without it". But you and I both know how much they're missing.

Reports from those who have voluntarily had the procedure done as an adult are largely similar: that a great deal of sensitivity and sexual pleasure is lost.

  • Umm... honestly this isnt a big deal who gives a fuck i mean really im glad i was circumcised no girl in Minnesota wants a guy with an un cut penis and to all the people who say you need to wait till the boy is old enough to pick that would suck the procces is 10 times more complicated when you wait longer then 48 hours of birth and really what guy wants to sit on a table and get his shit cut and then have to deal with the healing procces no one we just want it done when were to young to care

  • @PopadotNpat Circular reasoning. The reason why (as you claim, but I'm not conceding that this is true) "no girl in Minnesota wants a guy with an uncut penis" is because of society's training and conditioning. In Europe, where most men are uncircumcised, women like their men's equipment just fine. My fiancee, who is from Germany, had never been with a circumcised guy before me and she found it (quote) "very weird", and she wishes I hadn't been circ'd.

    It's all cultural, nothing more...

  • Circumcision is illegal on numerous grounds. It breaks common, civil, constitutional, statutory, criminal, and international law. "The body is sacred, and all people have an inviolable right to the security of the person." This means all men, woman, children -All PEOPLE. It violates the 5th and 14th amendments. It is by definition 'child abuse' and 'assault and battery'. The infant's arms and legs are restrained against their will, and then a violent assault is committed on their genitals.

  • I love how you have a link that goes to pros and cons for circumcision, then it almost seems like you negated it all by part 3.

I need to click on that link. I hope I don't just roll around laughing.

  • Why do you say that female circumcision is more brutal? It is removing a functional part of the body. Foreskin and clitoris both increase pleasure. I don't see what makes one worse than the other. I think forcing someone to remove a part of their body is terrible.

A part of the penis is removed and a part of the clitoris is removed (the clitoris extends deep into the body; it is much larger than what appears on the outside).

  • @nightotter200 Whatever, big boy. May you and your dick live happily ever after.

  • @nightotter200 That's simple, I'm not oblivious to popular and controversial topics like circumcision. How did you even get the idea that I'm pro-circumcision? I don't have have to be pro-circumcision or circumcised to insult you or your trolling.

  • @nightotter200 I see you always make it a point to whip out all the 500 characters. Isn't it obvious by now that you're not getting to me a all? "Better have all the sex you can now." lmfao, the joke's on you. I'm asexual, so I don't care.

  • @nightotter200 Supposing that ANY of that is true, then yes. You're one hell of a turd. Why don't you go troll muslims or vegetarians, you'd have much more "fun".

  • @nightotter200 Calm down, cock troll. It's better to circumcised, than to be a retard like you.

  • everyone should have the choice on whether or not their children has this operation. I don't remember ever feeling it so I don't really care about that part. I'm sure it hurt cutting and tying my umbilical chord as well. I like how mine looks (and so do girls ;) I like how I don't spray piss all over the place. I like that its NO hassle to clean. And after doing some research i've found it's less likely someone circumcised acquires OR transmits an STD..so its pretty much a given...PRO CHOICE.

  • @mykotron So wrong. It is cosmetic surgery, and like all cosmetic surgery should only be performed on those who can give informed consent.

  • @mykotron The 'pro's' you're describing account for any normal, healthy male. They are not an added bonus to someone who has been circumcised.

  • I agree with her, but damn her face is annoying.

  • @nightotter200 I'm awfully sorry the women in your life have made such a poor impression on you. I am in no way a man-hater; I freak out hourly at human achievement, male and female, but I resent the problems started by patriarchal ways, not men in general. Being such a mighty man, shouldn't you be off working on something new instead of boasting about your cock and hating women? I'm bored of you. I'm off to celebrate how much I love John Stuart Mill, a man I love who loves women. A real man.

  • The religious argument against the ban as a first amendment issue is groundless. Female circumcision is considered a religious practice, yet it is banned. So is honor killing, so is bigamy, and so are many other religious practices. I don't think a parent's religious freedom trumps a child's right to have his genitals (or any other part of his body) left intact barring a medical emergency and being born with a foreskin is NOT a medical condition.

  • @nightotter200 Those women are not representative of matriarchal ways. They were essentially men, advised by men to act like men. And leaders are not all Alpha males, you wonderfully faithful user of Wikipedia, many of them are and were world dwarves with nothing to do with your 'scientific' argument. I won't condense history, religion and politics into a fucking YouTube comment to make a point that will surely not budge your gross misogyny. Enjoy wanking with your uncircumcised dick, old man.

  • @nightotter200 >"You know VERY LITTLE about how society works, kid."

Nobody claimed that women never start wars. And your alpha/beta male hypothesis is pulled out of your own ass. Bonobos are matriarchal because the females form social alliances, which is possible in bonobo habitat where food is abundant, and females can bond while gathering.

You're going to have to do more than "watch a documentary on primates and how a society becomes either patriarchal or matriarchal" to unfuck your mind.

  • Circumcision makes the chance of penile cancer virtually zero.

  • @tron81 how does circumcision make the chance of penile cancer virtually zero? Explain?

  • @nightotter200 My dad is uncircumsized dude. He just told me what he goes through.

  • i understand and feel the points your talking about . i have a penis:) but was circumcised when i was young so i will never know what it feels like to have that all natural feel with foreskin but since i dont know all the pros and cons to the big snip ill read up on it. nice video!! made me think!

  • @nightotter200 What a foul thing to say. Your point was perfectly valid - and hers invalid - until your sexism came into it. You are entirely correct to say that no parent has the right to mutilate their child's ANYTHING, but to argue your point with misogyny? That is backwards, grotesque and ignorant. "Only men can run the world"? They've done a good job, if you consider war, oppression and the rape of the environment, amongst other things, to be the results of good leadership.

  • Im glad i dont have foreskin hard to clean my dad says.

  • You're an idiot. It is the parents decision if they want their child to be circumcised or not. I'm sure you are against abortion too? But that's a whole other argument

  • Me and my foreskin thank you for this video.

  • A nice take on institutionalized genital mutilation. I found the most outstanding explanation on exactly what it is and what it is designed to do, as the speaker mentions so vividly. The video is called LA PAROLA IN CUATRO I (pt. 3 of 5) There are four segments to this vid with many parts, but I (part 3 of 5) is exactly about genital mutilation, from a physiological, historical, and modern perversion of institution perspective. LA PAROLA IN CUATRO is awesome and I recommend it

  • I'm circumcised and I never really gave it much thought. I don't know any better because I don't know what I'm missing, but it would have been nice to have had a choice. If I did, fuck no am I putting a knife to my manhood. And the thought of chopping off a female's clit made me cringe, more so than the thought of being kicked in the balls. I can live without a little foreskin (not pro, just saying), but depriving a woman of her clit is barbaric and bother's me a lot.

  • (accidentally hit send) I'm glad I watched till the end. I just hope I can talk some sense into my sisters and they leave their boys intact.

  • Omfg when I first started watching I thought u were going to speak like a valley girl and talk about how great circumcision is blah blah blah, but I'm glad I watched the end

  • Traditions aren't religious, they are human. Human traditions have every reason to be scrutinized and criticized, and obviously in situations where they are not morally sound, disallowed. Just wanted to throw that out there to remind err'one the United States of America is a secular country with a godless constitution <___<

  • I say BAN IT !!!! circumcision is fundamentally different from other religious rites in that it permenantly alters another's body. It's not fair to inflict that on kids

  • Safety and human rights trump religious rights. Your child is welcome to get circed, when they're old enough to decide for themselves.

  • The religious aspect of infant genital mutilation. Infants freedom of religion is violated by infant genital mutilation. A infant born by jew parents may not want to be a jew like them. Mutilating the infant's genitals is just crazy. Jews don't like male genital mutilation. Look up videos about jews against circumcision.

  • Why are people attacking Laci for listing pros of circumcision? That section of the video is obviously not about her personal opinions. When making these sort of 'for or against' videos she always strives to state the opinions of people on both sides of the fence and then give her own opinion separately, which I deeply respect and appreciate about her.

  • Circumcision must NOT be banned. What must be prohibited however is parents forcefully taking a voiceless infant's right to decide if he wants circumcision for himself. I do not support banning circumcision for those want it for themselves. I support the banning of parents forcefully taking away the child's right to get one or not get one for himself. I say parents circumcising an infant or a young child who can't speak up for himself, are criminally abusive!

  • @Reaper081087 Exactly. If a person wants to get circumcised at 18, then far be it from us to tell him what to do with his body. But good God, man! Forced genital mutilation has to go!

  • @Reaper081087 It's better to do it at a young age.
