  • 9:00 - 10:20 ;)

Very grateful to these guys, they've introduced me to new emotions.

  • I love this music, it captures perfectly my deepest of emotions

  • classic masterpiece.

  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim + DRUDKH playing in the background = EPIC!

  • This isn't really black metal, keyboards are polluting the sound.

  • @12Ominous polluting? please! is black metal as its best!

  • i cant hear the vocals properly man,it like all instrumentals..!!!

  • This song changed my life. Wow, I love this band so much that it makes me wanna cry, haha.

  • The thing really amazing in Drudkh's music is their guitar tone, sounds like a voice, like a whisper, I really like it, not at all the same tone than other BM bands...

  • favoris

  • But who cares anyway? Mainstream or underground? Fuck that! Enjoy the music.

  • So fucking beautiful.

  • cool song for sitting at work playing with excel spreadsheets

  • can't stop listen to this, it's so epiiiiic

i keep coming back to this song

  • Orgasm ah!

  • wtf..since when is drudkh so mainstream? they sound like dimmu borgir...shame on them

  • @Themgoroth616 You'd better be trolling.

  • @Themgoroth616 You are kidding right? If not you clearly have no idea what you talking about

  • @Themgoroth616 wtf? man you donk now what your talking bout :O

  • @Themgoroth616 idiot you have Nightwish in your favs! ur talking bout mainstream? + this is their second album from 2004 -.-

  • @Behemoth221192

Yeah that why I know what Mainstream is and this is totally a Dimmu Borgir-Wanna Be. A bit more keyboard and this would easily be number 1 in the charts.

I mean come on this is so chart-breaking keyboard-pop-melodic metal. Dont deny the truth.

  • @Themgoroth616 I just loled ... nothing more to say ;]

  • @Themgoroth616 You do not tag bands mainstream because of how they sound. You tag them mainstream by their popularity. This band is FAR from mainstream.

  • @Medieval1991

Aha ok, so in normal a bands gets popular if they are good.

So do you think this band is not mainstream because they are not good?

  • @Themgoroth616 No. There are plenty of underground bands which I consider highly enjoyable. Stop thinking popular = good. Just listen to what you like and stop commenting on music you do not like. People have different tastes, deal with it.

  • FUCK........................YES.

  • <3

  • this composition is a mega majestic meditation on the melancholic mountain of genetic memory regarding marsupial massacres and malformed mammaries!

  • My favorite Drudkh work. This song is really indescribable.

  • I want to crawl into that damn album cover. Live in the leaves. I love this fucking band. Boo hah hah The riff moves me man. It's too good... like my ass. Fuck, I have a confession, I'm pretty high... 8-p<-----8

  • Why dont all you shit talkers just shut your fucking faces, seriously! It's logical at least 99% of us who has viewed and / or commented on this video from this great band likes what they hear, I know I do, Drudkh is an awsome band, one of the elite bands in this genre like austere and many others but that's my opinion and if you dont like it? fuck you!

  • 6:38 OMFG!!!

  • They DO have NS leanings. Who cares? If you can't handle that ... Turn it off. Idiots.

  • best song of Drudkh

  • This must be one of the greatest riffs ever recorded o.o

  • the riff is godlike

  • What's most effective about these lads, in my humble, is the mournful minor chords they use to oppose Roman Saenko's raging. It's almost as if the music signifies inevitability and fate, while Saenko disagrees as violently as possible. Incurable pessimist that I usually am, I'll side with Mr. Saenko. Just this once.

  • k really random question, but hopefully someone gets back to me on this. i fucking love this band and have 3 of their albums, but how do you say their name? ive pronounced it like "dr-uhd-kh", "dr-ood-kh", "dr-uhd", "dr-ood", someone help me out here im clueless :(

  • @FLIPPITYFLOOP i asked myself the same several times, but according to my researches, it's pronounched "drookh", with a soft "D" like in "feed"

  • @hjoermungand ah i see. thanks!

  • Great music, only these guys are racist as hell.

  • @samkhaz

That is an uneducated, and ridiculously shallow statement. Know what you're bitching about WAY before you bitch.

  • @james61632 Really? Uneducated? What would you call "Music for White Intellectual Elite" then? That's not racist is it- oh, I forgot, it's only "pride". Please kid, get your diploma, then your bachelor's, then your master's, and do two years volunteering in another country and then maybe this will be an even playing field.

  • @samkhaz But first of all, this music isnt for the White intellectual elite. Their music is about the nature and they use old Heathen Poetry as lyrics. They aren't pro or anti, for as far as I know. Not every Eastern European country is wrong. Thats something, Americans should learn. America isnt the best country in the world. It isn;t even close to it.

  • this is what im looking for. the aesthetics of nature in black metal.

  • beautiful

  • I can not find out according words to describe this music. Drudkh rulezzz

  • @OriginalManakin

I think Mozart would be more into Nox Arcana and Midnight Syndicate.

  • Drudkh and Nokturnal Mortum are Ukraine's best bands

  • It was instant love for this song when i first heard it.

    Great stuff

  • Amazing! \m/

  • this is the Ninth Symphony of black metal.

  • Katy perry is hot

  • @wesimus gtfo

  • My anthem. Great band, great work.

  • SUPERIOR.

  • The main riff sounds like a radio trying to transmit signals from somewhere unknown :O

  • no words to descrive!!!

  • Beautiful

  • who gives a shit just listen to the music. beliefs mean nothing. in 10,000 years earth will care not for your internet squabblings.

  • Excellent.

  • great album indeed, though the second part of the song reminds me of nargaroth - ..und ich sah sonn' nimmer heben.. the riffs match quite a lot.. but that doesn't ruin the song

  • People try to paint them as a NSBM band because Roman Saenko's other band, Hate Forest, is and also because the music resembles some other NSBM bands.

What people need to consider is that NSBM isn't a musical genre, it's a lyrical one. Just like Viking Metal, Gangster Rap, and Gospel. A Viking Metal band can't sing about partying at a club, a gangster rap group can't rap about Louis XVI and a Gospel choir can't sing about being dirty sluts. Without a NSBM lyrical theme they're not NSBM.

  • Personally, I don't agree or sympathize with any National Socialist ideas or beliefs. With that said, I love Drudkh.

The whole reason the band doesn't play shows, doesn't do interviews, doesn't have a website, and doesn't have band pictures is because the members of the band, their race, their nationality, their beliefs, their morals, the process of the music, the instrumentation, all of these thing are, and should be, totally irrelevant to the atmosphere the music presents.

  • @hobodoctor you american, boy? that would explain your lack of knowledge. do you know who stepan bandera and Ukrainian Insurgent Army were? know what a sunwheel (title of their song) is? drudkh glorify UIA which was a pure nazi organization, massmurderers of at least 200,000 Poles, and Ukrainians associated with'em were nazi Germans' allies, for example all the concentration camps were managed by them. i partly don't blame'em, cuz Poles had always treated'em like shit. hail Polska, hail Ukraine!

  • @herrssich Yes, I know what a sunwheel is and the Ukranien Insurgent Army was. They talk about a lot of themes that were associated with but not necessarily the same as Nazism. The sunwheel for example was around long before 1920's Germany.

There's no question that at least Roman Saenko does hold some Nazi beliefs, but the question is whether he attempts to promote them through Drudkh's songs, and I don't think that's the case. They're very nationalistic is all, seems you are as well.

  • @hobodoctor yep i'm, a little xD although i'm not that proud of it. let's say Drudkh are also... a little. Roman probably doesn't like Poles much xD you're right about the sunwheel. i'm sure Drudkh, through their music, want to create an impression entirely separated from the idea commonly perceived as racism, but sort of refer to longing for... old pure caucasian european times xD besides, it was wrong of me to have started complaining, it's true Drudkh are beyond the whole shit so who cares

  • I've got a Drudkh addiction problem

  • Drudkh=The Shit!

  • This song is just AMAZING. What an awesome sound. Everything is there, at the right time.

  • Masterpiece. :)

  • WOW

  • archaic landscapes and nature turned into music. but words cannot describe...

  • Am I right to say that each Drudkh song has an almost airy sound to it? As if one has just taken in a gust of mountain air while viewing a forested panorama. It's the atmosphere of this band, and it's hardly subtle.

  • Best to listen to in a totally darkened room or the sunset, featuring an excellent wine.

i just love the whole album!

  • my ears came

  • Comment removed

  • I came.

  • lol XD

  • magestic.

    this rivals Mozart's work.

  • @netskot To what extent?

  • @netskot I enjoy Drudkh's music too, but you're taking it too far, your statement is laughable

  • @blodbotina I'm of the opinion that Drudkh is to metal what Mozart was to classical symphony. Drudkh, again, in my view, have an innovative sound that is unmatched by others and it resonates through all their songs.

You can tell in their sound that their folk influences are pure and atmospheric and this to me is the epitome of metal. I'd imagine a fan of metal would share similar appreciation of Drudkh as classical fans do for Mozart.

  • @netskot yes it's pure and atmospheric, some of the riffs are really good but it tends to get boring due to long playing time without any significant changes (tempo) and repetitiveness of the riffs. if i were to choose the most unique, unmatched by others, band, with folkish elements playing mainly black metal, i'd choose agalloch over drudkh any time. but that doesn't mean drudkh are bad, like i said, i really enjoy their music, but sometimes gets a bit boring.

  • @blodbotina it depends on what you like. the fact that it is long without many rhythmic changes is a big appeal of this piece for me. there is a hypnotic/drone affect about it that i really enjoy. i think i would like this piece less if it attempted more rhythmic changes or melodic diversions. that's just me though.

  • @analogWeapon yeh, it's all personal preference, i agree, didn't say anything there was "objectively" judged :p

  • @blodbotina Thank you for saying exactly what runs through my head every time I watch this video and see that comment.

  • @Pathos62 you're kidding or? =D

  • @blodbotina No, no, no. I actually thumbs downed the comment every time I put on the video lol Drudkh's a good band, but it's not like we can compare them to arguably the most revered composer of all time.

The comment just struck me as pretentious I guess.

  • @netskot how? but yes...

  • @netskot don't get me wrong. This piece of music is outstanding. Fantastic. But there is absolutely no comparing to Mozart. There is no common frame of reference. Mozart wouldn't understand this as music. There much less going on here -- it's more atmosphere.

  • @bluekalyx

Mozart didn't have to try too hard to build his structures when the frame was all ready built long before his birth. Besides if Mozart were alive today and you fed him some black metal, especially the likes of this, he would be instantly converted. In my honest opinion he was building the the early frame work for many dark genres especially black metal. requiem is black metal and this music. not just some fucking atmosphere. If you had the ears you'd notice the subtle nuances.

  • @OriginalManakin

Achem... Nuances that create an underlying complexity. I may be brown...But this is music for white socialist intellectual elite. So GTFO with your low I.Q.

    - For trolling purposes only. Do not operate heavy machinery while reading. May cause: Blindness, loss of self esteem, loss of motor control, and sensitivity to saur kraut. You fucking Kraut!

  • @OriginalManakin Madcuzslave?

  • @Dirtmigurtftw

Well, seeing as you asked me a question. No, I will rule your pitiful country as a subsidiary branch of my great kingdom and your children, if your feeble self ever produces, will be my childrens slaves. Btw, I am superior 90% of the time in looks, physique, inteligence, talent and skill, you fat decrepit loser. Do you even play an instrument? I'm guessing no 'cause most musicians don't try to set themselves up for fail. And I just delivard. U mad?

  • @netskot No.

  • @netskot I think that if you distilled god's tears they would still pale in front of the beast of melancolig megalomaniac geniality that characterises the profound epicness of this masterpiece.

  • @avend666 LOL

  • @FetalJuice88 i am ironing ofcourse

  • @avend666 you're ironing? what are you ironing? your work clothes for tomorrow>?

  • no dice, Drudkh is easily one of the best bands. They're so much better than most bands out there today including Opeth.

  • the "best" is subjective. They are a great band, but in my eyes, not the best.

There is no, and can never be a "best band"
