when i had this game back in 99 i had unclocked every single possible thing ever flew out of the levels and found countless glitches i used to love playing hide and seek nadn with my buddies finding glitches aka places to hide ect this is probly the olny game in which i did everything possible to do.
some little accessory thing that plugged into the expansion slot on top of the Nintendo 64 console, giving it more RAM so some games can then run in higher resolution and/or have bigger levels (or race tracks).
Most def - I'm tripping watching your videos. What a rush, I'm hooking up my Dreamcast immediately. The only game half as cool as Rush 2049 is Midnight Club 2. Let's hope NFS Nitro will bring us back to the future!
Cool driving. At 1:30 in your video, do you know you can jump thru a gap in a building to your left instead of taking the blue track shortcut on your right?
Yeah. In fact, it's one way to get to the last 2 gold coins (see my Race Coins 6 video). It's just not as good of a shortcut as the 'blue track' when racing for time...
Well considering I know Barry Leitch personally, i get to ask him cool questions like "Hey why did they cut out so much from the N64 version?" and his answer would be "...because there just wasn't enough room and I had to narrow it down to the stuff I liked most".
I was not aware that the Dreamcast version had some of the tracks from the 64 version. I've listened to both cuts, and the dreamcast one does indeed sound clearer.
You've done me a pretty big service here. I have literally been looking for these tracks for years, but always got dealt the side A tracks, like the rock, morning, afternoon, night, etc.
This game is legend. One of the best racing games of all time. Who gives a shit about all the fancy new stuff they got nowdays this was (to me) the pinnacle of racing games. Up until now i've yet to see better.
hola soy un jugador de rush mi correo es arango_647@........ yo tengo los mejores recors agregenme soy de Peru le gane a mamahaha y a fernando :) agregenme:)
Yes, this game is available for GameCube in the compilation called Midway Arcade Treasures 3. It's a port of the Dreamcast version, and is basically identical minus the fact that there's drastic framerate issues when 3-4 players play in the Single Race mode.
the euro lx has got to be an M6! Funny thing is it came out before the m6, so BMW got the idea from rush 2049!

o ok
so i unlocked it and all but do you have to have the expansion pak in to be able to play the track?
C94Slim 3 years ago
Yes. Track 6 is a big track. So the N64 needs the extra ram the expansion pak gives to run it.
ChrisH2049 3 years ago
how do you get track 6 and 7 on the nintendo 64 version???
i can only get up to track 5
C94Slim 3 years ago
You need the Expansion Pak in your Nintendo 64 to get track 6. Then it's unlocked by completing the Intermediate Circuit.
And there is no track 7 on the N64 or Dreamcast versions. Track 6 is the last race track.
ChrisH2049 3 years ago
o you mean the thing that goes in the nintendo 64 itself not the controller??

Yes.

I've never seen this track ever. Like track 1 from the original, except they mowed down all the forests!
