Colin is a fantastic bassist. These are some of the most talented guys in the world and so few people know about them. Makes one feel privileged, almost.

@dmlovic Colin is on somet of the FW songs but most of the basslines are by Andy. but don't know about this one.

Andy is my all time favourite songwriter and live performer. Check out the XTC concert from Melbourne early 80´s. Brilliant!

@berherbi Personally I think he's a step up from Paul, although probably heavily influenced by him. Maybe I just prefer Colins style.

Or ,at the very least ,on par and ,at times, more progressive. McCartney sure didn't write anything as good as Partridge or Moulding after The Beatles. That's why I still listen to XTC and have long disguarded most of McCartney's solo stuff. It's sad that the music industry has dummied itself down so much for the almighty buck, that it doesn't have a sowball's hope in hell of recognizing what well written music actually is.
