Thank you for posting this particular coverage of the opening ceremonies. I didn't realize how much was edited out of the American broadcast. This is spectacular!
Without much preamble segment was the most beautiful of all the opening ceremony. A table showing frame by frame colors and rich dynamics of the Australian flora. The spectacular costumes were designed by Eamon D'Arcy, the choreography was directed by Doug Jack, the director of the segment was Peter Wilson, the music was composed and orchestrated by Chong Lim and performed by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the National Boys Choir and The Melbourne Chorale, lighting was by David Brown.
Deep Sea Dreaming the best for me imo. it brings out the child in you! Dream Time is close second I love it more and more every time I watch it! This was definitely breathtaking although I feel they could of done a lot more with this
I remember watching this part of the ceremony over 10 years ago, and I thought it was the best part of the ceremony as well!!! I really like the music and the call towards the end of the segment.
