i actually knew a guy in Alabama that had an allison XR-2001. small block probably a 200 short shaft. his boat did 104.2 on a drag day on logan martin lake. so a 105 boat with the right mods is a realistic claim.
but in the states it's illegal for anything but closed circuit racing. kind of like saying a formula 1 car isnt legal for driving to the grocery store.
be careful. if you're in the U.S. and get caught by the state waterpatrol, or coast gaurd with that boat they'll write you one hell of a ticket and confiscate your boat. they'llonly allow you to have it back after a lengthy court case and a signed afadavit stating that you'll never put something like this back together. second offense isjail time. i know. i lost a damn nice allison and merc 200 like that. of course i was running somewhere around 105 mph
