It depends on how much power youre gonna feed them! But if you can have as good price as we can here, I would go with CDT. About 180rms for a component, you're really gonna hear them dont worry hehe And if you want BIG bass you can go with the M6 or other models like them...they're like mini sub ;)

the type x has Dual 4 ohms voice coils. look at the box of the sub. if you wire it down to 2 ohms it will be louder. the alpine mrp-1000 is 600 RMS watts at 4 ohms or 1000 RMS watts at 2 ohms. SO it could be even louder with the same amp and wiring.

If you put a wire between + an - of a battery it will spark because there is about no resistance and the currect flow really fast

I would prefer to have 2 instead of 3 but the m1000 amp doesnt run at 1 ohm. it only runs at 2, and if i have 3 subs then it will allow the amp to run at 2.6 ohms which would almost run the full 1000 watts to the subs... gotta put that factor in too... and if i get one type x then i could run the 1000 watts to it.

long as you dont have some little tiny piece of shit car, no need for extra batteries or a cap. unless your running 2000 watts or more of actually true clean power, then i would do some upgrades. i run a digital alpine mrd-1000 and i do fine straight off the battery. caps do not make your system louder. they just put less strain on your car when power is needed the most for your amp and the notes your hitting.

caps don't suck they monitor the power input. and if you just add a second battery you're only taking away power because it puts more strain on the alternator. the only thing that a 2nd battery is good for is if you're just sitting in a parking lot listening with the car not running.

honestly a cap wont do a thing. its like a cheap fix that makes it seem like its doing more than it is. since it requires more charge and pulles it so fast it is actualy harder on your alternator than if you dont have it. if your heads are dimming or when you turn it up to much and it may kick out because of it being to much power you ne a high output alternator with a yellowtop battery. when you have those then it doesnt hurt to have a cap but i dont see the need
