This, my friends is not megh, or megh malhaar. It a a raag called "SUHAA". Note the Darbari Ang (style). Thats the idiosyncrasy of this raga. Thanks.

This is surely Megh Malhar and surely not Suha or Sughrai or any rag of the darbari family.

The shudh dha and the komal ga is the speciality of this variety of megh malhar. I have heard the same variety from vocalist Ramashraya Jha. those are characteristic phrasing of Malhar and you can make out the Barakha ritu bandish here. Superb rag, and superbly played
