Hey Drew, awesome bobber build you got. Do you have any experiences of VNs with other custom pipes? I'm looking to get a set of Raask ones, was wondering whether the outcome is something as amazing as your's.

This bike looks great and has an amazing sound..... I have one that I'm customizing, What kind of Pipes is on this bike mine has drag pipes and sounds good but not this deep....
I guess in my opinion a bobber is shorter than a chopper. A chopper is something like OCC makes, whereas a bobber is just something some guy does in his garage. There's really no right or wrong definition, but bobbers are just more minimalist and I think they are normally shorter.
yea, there's a definition. bobbers are bikes with a minimalist, typically "old school" look, a stock frame, and a bobbed rear fender. a chopper is made from a chopped production fender. basically, if you mod the frame in any way, it's not a bobber, it's a chopper.
this is what im looking into making, if you dont mind, can you write something up that says what all you had to go through? like how much you payed, what work you had to do plz
Nicely done! The Vulcan 800 has lots of "mod" potential. At a local bike show here a couple of years ago, there was what looked to be a Drifter 800. The owner removed the "Indian-esque" fenders, bead-blasted the rocker covers and cases, and then painted the tins satin black.
How much did it all cost you in the end?

Bobbers are great because of their simplicity...
So what if you only need to do a few things to make something nice....
