  • What strings are you using mate?

  • @raffafa As a big Brian May-geek I use the Optima Gold Strings. They have a very clear tone and soft feel to them.

  • @PatrikMidelf thanks definitely getting them!

  • HOLY SHIT ITS BRIAN'S SIGNATURE OH SWEET LORD

  • Nice

  • i want your guitar Brian may signature :O thumbs up if you want it

  • The best solo that i ever see of that song

  • What equipment are you using? Apart from obvious guitar.

  • @DanSideBurns The guitar is plugged into the Digitech Brian May Red Special Pedal set to setting 4, then straight into Logic. I think I've compressed the recording, done some EQing and added a short reverb.

  • good

  • Anyone know the neck radius of that guitar?

  • @ianrkav im not sure, but i know it is nowhere near as thick as the neck on brians actual guitar because he has huge hands and has to have a really thick neck to accommodate his hands.

  • @thebeatles240 Ok thanks for that. Yeah Brian has big hands, long fingers too:-)

  • that sound... FKJASDFHKLASF <3

  • who's signature is on your guitar?

  • @lean99zz That's Brian May's signature, met him about a year ago!

  • @PatrikMidelf That's so cool! What did it take to meet him?

  • @lean99zz He played at the premiere of We Will Rock You here in Sweden. Me and a few more people waited outside after the musical and I met Brian. And Roger as well :)

  • @PatrikMidelf Lucky bast..! :P

  • is it able to get that sound of Brian with a wah pedal a little bit turned the pedal back?Use it as a toner?

  • @szelidrocker Well, it all depends on what guitar, equipment and amp you have.. But a Wha is pretty much just a high pass filter. If you keep it in a fixed place all it does is pretty much change the tone, like an EQ. But I guess that, if you pull it back, it will give you less bass which in turn will give you a closer "Brian-sound" since he uses a treble booster and cuts off the low frequencies. Hope I understood your question correctly?

  • Sounds absolutely amazing. Love the tone and you nail Brian's licks and sound. You're a very good player. It looks like you have woman hands though :P

  • @artnewkirkmusic Thank you! Haha, yea I've heard I have small hands before :P
