Hey, is it true that there are only 28 stages of Golf courses in this game? Also, what does "hole out" mean?

When I went through all 18 courses, I suddenly got a "hole out" message on the top of the screen, and then, the game went back to it's main menu.

why does it seem like you don't watch the wind? try more strategy ;) otherwise, great video, great old game

Me and my brother enncountered a fun thing a few years back. I had just played Zelda I with an infinite rupies GG-code (think it was GG) and we switched to this. I forgot to turn the cheat off, and they were recognised by this game. Quite horribly so. :D
Whenever we struck the ball it followed its path up in the sky up until right about when it started comming down again. Then it turned 180 degrees and went backwards, back and beyond the tee making it impossible to play.
Fun times. :D
