  • The best part was towards the end, transitioning from the camera over the field to the airplane flying by to the truck. The music created stunningly perfect sound effects. The very end sucked though.

  • to :icntdrv that was the point. not allowed to name the dog Toto they changed it to Toby. it was in a way a tribute to The Wizard of Oz. Good Video btw.

  • Hey...anyone who's ever tried the Wiz of Oz with Dark Side of the Moon thing, has GOT to try this...found this album-movie-mashup of Dark Side of The Moon with 2001 A Space Odyssey...it's pretty cool. You can find it if you google "dark side of the moon 2001 space odyssey, and it's the one at the klozitrokstar blog

  • I liked it,good job,....I give it a 7.7

  • is it just my computer that is playing weird. what people are saying about the connections, aren't lineing up at this end. and i'm sure i could look it up, but i hope to dog that someone would just tell me a simple answer

what's the cue to start what when?

i might have to just try this out at home this weekend when everyone takes off and i can crank the hell out of the stereo

    thank you

  • Just goes to show that Dark Side of the Moon goes with everything!!

  • I like that when she looks around at 3:00, the lyrics say "look around."

  • wow this is an amazing amazing discovery thanks :)

  • i find it funny that people have nothing to do besides see what DSOTM syncs up with...oh well at least they listen to good music

  • amazing!

  • Similar emotion types with similar amount of expression of each one expressed by the song and on film simultaneously. I think I understand how this happens. We have such a similar ongoing pattern in our mental thoughts like a minotaur in a labyrinth but we’re still half beast. As long as man is still half beast and not pure we will be stressful because we are experiencing what seems like the same things over and over and guess what… we are! That's what is going on with this.

  • 1:56 ~dog thinks: "wait a minute...IT'S PINK FLOYD!!"

  • Not MORE impressive, but I see it, anyway. Now make a split screen with wizard of oz on one side and twister on the other side and Dark Side of the Moon playing. Then I will be impressed. If anyone does that, please send me the link. ;D

  • No way that this is better than The Dark Side of Oz or just as good for that matter. When in Twister does Helen Hunt sing Over the Rainbow with On The Run in the background.

  • too much of pot i see.

  • The dog in this movie is in the Wizard of Oz

  • Sync made no sense whatsoever. Really a waste of time.

  • The best music to movie I have ever seen is Pink Floyd's "The Wall" to Disney's Alice In Wonderland.

  • Start star wars episode 3, skip the stupid floating letters at the beginning, and the start the Black Ice album. It syncs sort of well if you start on War Machine and set it to repeat.

  • I think you're an idiot. This is not synncronized at all

  • hello hello hello is there anybody in there.....

  • This is cool. Does anyone know if there are other movies that sync up to albums?

  • Yeah. Makes much more sense. to ANYONE ON ACID

  • actually not that bad

  • wheres the rest of it

  • i love the opening to twister. everytime i see it i imagine it as what the opening to the remake of the wizard of oz will be. then the cheesy shizen-fest that is helen hunt and that awful script come into play. bummer.

  • dorothy's dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nah.. don't see it. Any syncing is tenuous at best - likewise with Oz.

  • @craigieboy123 take acid or schrooms and watch it.

  • This is a good sync =]

  • buy poop ?

    or

    got milk?

  • has anyone ever noticed that the dog on the bed looks a lot like toto off of wizard of oz? could be its great great great great granddog!! lol

  • Damn this is freaky. Perfectly in sync when on the run comes and at 6:00

  • 2:58 The lyrics say "Look around" and they just... look around...

    lol, amazing

  • at 5:00 if you look real close you can see dorothys house fly by. wierd...gives me goose bumps

  • @rainmanx63 i dont see anything

  • @pinkfloyd257 its the top of the telescope thingy

  • @rainmanx63 whoah!

  • I dunno, I think this works better than the Oz one. Nice one. Agreed with awesome sync at 5:58 (mentioned below). Btw, I saw this in the theater and I remember everyone laughing at when the dad gets sucked up out of the shed. I miss the 90s!

  • So when would be the right time to press play on the album?

  • amazing sync at 5:58

  • I got goosebumps when On the Run came on!

  • I sure am glad I've never seen this movie!

  • @CaptainSiberia this movie is amazing!!!!

  • epic

  • close but no way ... oz does work you just need the timing!!

  • Nice job!

  • I hate to admit it, but it's actually better matched up (The whole Album with the movie) than Wizard of Oz or Alice In Wonderland.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • the airplane at 6:00 is cool

  • not feeling it.

other than the dog running in when it says 'run rabbit run'.

  • is timing every thing, or do you just let it flow, and it does the exact same thing

  • Comment removed

  • just awesome

  • its a good vid you made, but then again,im a huge dark side of oz fan,and pink flowyd for the matter, you could prolly put dark side of the moon with spongebob squarepants(who i hate btw)and id still proly like it

  • You guys really think a movie editor really put the time and money into this film for the first 6 minutes to match a song??? Personally I think it's a good coinidence, considering back in Junior high my friends and I would get high, mute the tv, put on some wierd messed up cartoon or kids show and blair the music playing random songs, Sometimes a whole song would match up or till a commercial or whatever...

  • damn now i wanna get doped up and do this!

  • 2:22 is great music for that glimpse of the dog she gets, very cool moment and great find

  • glorious.

  • fabuloso was here

  • thats was sweet

  • I just saw the Wizard of Oz version. It's such a nice film, but it's true: The Dark Side of The Moon fits better dubbed on Twister.

What's funny is that I am completely devoted to Pink Floyd since I was a kid and Twister happens to be the movie I probably watched most during my childhood.

    Well done!

  • 1, The part when the coins and clicking happens, the machines are on screen. 2, When the real music starts, tehy show the house. 3, At 1:53 when he whips his head around. And others.

  • Wow, this 3 songs fit better in this movie than in Wiz of Oz, does the other songs fit that well?? Anyway, nothing to do with the Floyd, but, have you noticed how at around 5:19 something flies in the upper left corner of the screen, what's that??

  • It's a reflection in the window, not something flying.

  • Thats called glare....

  • I love it. Great job..

  • First of all, these people live on a farm and have a small dog. The music says "run, rabbit, run" when the dog runs into the shelter. The airport intercom says "prepare for boarding" when the father is ripped out into the air. The electronic noise matches up with a view of a satellite and computer screen. And then an airplane flies by the truck at exactly the same time you hear it.

  • nice!

  • @DelilahThePig "Forget the sun" as the lamp is being lit, he'll never see the light of the sun again (don't bother with it, basically)

"You race towards an early grave" as if to say his death came earlier than it could have as he 'raced' to hold down their shelter door, which I think is awesome since it's the last sung line before dad's death.

  • 4:16 wow! You really impressed me. is amazing

  • damn, why is pink floyd so good at this?

  • Really impressive. Around 4:10 is when the music greatly enhances the movie.

  • wow.

At about 6 minutes with the airplane. It's perfect.

  • yeah thats pretty cool.

what about the rest of the movie???

    i still prefer Oz.

  • Just wicked!! Well done, ScreamJob!!!

    Thank you!:)

  • Very, very strong connection here. Notice how "Breathe" has a very relaxed, steel guitar (commonly played in Country music) and we see a simple country family. "On The Run" starts (with all its crazy keyboards & sound effects) and *wooosh*! The future is now. We're suddenly in space, looking down at Earth from a satellite. There's a lot of stuff! Oh, crazy pilot? Totally intentional, if I may say so. Great find!

  • "Choose your own ground"

    they go to the cellar

  • Ever notice Jo's dog? It is a Cairn Terrier - just like in Wizard of Oz

  • yeah..i did...nobody else i knowever picked up on it

  • yeah, I saw that too, I'm glad they let the dog into they're hideout, the dog is so cute with his little furry self!

  • @icntdrv seriously..how big of a dog lover nerd are you.

  • @crabgrasskid Not at all really. I just happen to have a Cairn

  • @icntdrv oh..haha ok..sry bout that last comment. i was drunk.

  • Odd, same kind of dog in both Twister and The Wizard of Oz.

  • run rabbit run, right on cue

  • PS, totally made my 1st comment b4 reading the rest of your description (as instructed) and you are totally right... made the movie eerier.. if that's a word. :^)

  • OMG; I think that is better than the whole Wizard of OZ one. It just works so perfectly with the sounds as well as some of the lines and what is going on in the scene. Nice work!!!

  • It say's don't be afraid to care as soon as it shows the news dude. Then as they're leaving it say's leave, don't leave me. Around 5:00 the plane flies and there is a sound, after that you hear the car revving.

  • ahhaahah this is awesome

  • best keep postin em, these are awesome!
