  • 24 kicks ass, you suck

  • Humanity rights first, human rights second

  • Wow! by the comments left by some people talking about the human rights guy its no wonder this world is is the sad and sorry shape its in.

  • @robinsl27 You need to get a dose of reality. These idiots torture our soldiers & not for information, but just for the hell of it. The "people talking about the human rights guy" are saying we should be allowed to torture for information if it helps protect/save lives. Is one murdering terrorist's few moments of pain that big of a deal if it saves lives of innocent others? Well why don't you just leave the USA and join the extremists, then see which side needs your stupid "Human Rights" speech.

  • @bigbubbabam270 I am not sure what country you are from but in the U.S of A torture goes against the Geneva Convention which we are part of and the 8th amendment of the constitution which is why I love this country thats why I served 7 years in the military because I would give my life for a country that sets its principles that high.If you think torture works ask S.E.R.E school instructors or someone that has been water-boarded and ask them if torture works.

  • @bigbubbabam270 If you torture anyone for a rigorous amount of time they will admit to crimes that were committed before they were born. The only thing you get from torture is what the torturer wants. I live in the US where torture is suppose to be illegal and our founding fathers thought so as well. why dont you LEAVE and join a country that believes in torture. maybe you'll get the "24" treatment and you can tell me if torture works or not.

  • @robinsl27 I am in the US & am military too. Although torture isn't always effective, there is no sense in not doing every possible thing to save lives. I don't believe in torturing people for fun, but certainly as a last resort in drastic situations. & our founding fathers knew we didn't need it then because we didn't have a bunch of murderous terrorists and suicide bombers 250 years ago going on indiscrimate killing sprees. if you love this country so much, why not love the people in it?

  • @bigbubbabam270 During the Civil War there were "terrorist" bombing bridges so much so Abraham Lincoln issued Marshal Law. Those that were found guilty were given a trial during a time of war in the US. I believe we should do everything possible like try diplomacy and talk with other nations instead of bomb first ask questions later. If torture worked why don't cops do it. Why didn't we prosecute Timothy Mcveigh for OKC bombings in 1995.

  • @bigbubbabam270 its not that torture isn't always effective, torture doesn't work. John Mccain when he was tortured, he said things that were untrue in order to make the torture stop. the "ticking time bomb" scenario your suggesting at just doesn't happen. I love the people in this country which is the reason why I don't want our name to be mentioned along side torture, which is one of the reasons we went to war with Saddam. torture is torture no matter what country it comes from

  • @robinsl27 The reason cops don't do it is because they would often be torturing an innocent person. So I agree with cops being forbidden to do it. By reading your posts, you seem well educated. But you think we should let terrorists bomb this nation and then "talk with them about it?" I don't think so.

  • @robinsl27 So let's say for a minute that someone walked right up to you & punched you square in the face. You're saying that you're response would be to talk it out & try diplomacy instead of retaliation first ask questions later. So you try to talk it out, & then they hit you again. You continue to get up in attempt to talk it out and you just keep getting hit in the face. Sooner or later you'll probably realize that the lesson I'm trying to teach you is that SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO STRIKE BACK

  • @bigbubbabam270 what your talking about is self defense and of course I believe in that but human mutilation and humiliation is wrong. Ghandi even believed in self-defense, although it is rarely shown in the media. I don't believe any sane person would disagree with defending themselves with they have been assaulted by some miscreant or if some thief was breaking in their house, however self defense and human mutilation and humiliation are two different things.

  • @bigbubbabam270 Let's see what the army training manual says on torture "the use of force is a poor technique, as it yields unreliable results, may damage subsequent collection efforts, and can induce the source to say whatever he thinks the interrogator wants to hear. Fmr FBI special agent Ali Soufan says When they are in pain, people will say anything to get the pain to stop. Most of the time, they will lie, make up anything to make you stop hurting them.

  • @bigbubbabam270 If you want to torture someone for sadistic reasons than be my guest but lets not pretend that the reason it is being done is for noble reasons like getting information. the U.S is suppose to be way up there regarding torture and not to go to the "dark side" as Dick "tator" Cheney said. There has also been innocent people tortured and murdered in places like Abu Gharib. some U.S Govt workers were "mistakenly" tortured and guess what, they gave false info to make it stop.

  • @bigbubbabam270 there have also been innocent taxi drivers, journalist, and kids that have been captured and tortured b/c they happen to "look the part" and by look the part I mean brown skinned and have accents, not to mention the rapes, sodomy and "death" that have taken place in some of these detainment camps. Also if by bombing our country you are referring to 9/11 I suggest you read the 9/11 commission report. info was coming in but high level officials sat on there ass and did nothing.

  • Get a life dude. Locate one at your local supermarket in the aisle for "40 year old titty suckerz"

  • surely you must follow the laws of human nature to be applicable for human rights. these people went against those rules and betrayed there fellow man. i dont even think they have the right to be called human. if this is the basis for law and govenrment why is it not used for anti-government enactments. are they better. do they deserve special treatment. i would torture people if it meant saving innocent people

  • we used torture to get info to find bin laden...nuff said

  • that man is stopping Jack from doing his job, Jack will toture this man to make sure he isnt worknig for someone else :D

  • Terrorists aren't even human... They sacrifice their humanity the very instant they decide to start trying to kill innocent people. Why should we treat them in a humane manner when they refuse to treat others humanely?

  • What IS it with people crying for the terrorists? They fucking blow up our Servicemen for shits and giggles, and they have been known to slaughter innocent people on a whim... Who the fuck CARES about the so-called rights of cold-blooded shitbags like that? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for human rights and all that gay shit, but the instant you start willfully violating innocent people's rights to live peacefully, you forfeit your own as far as I'm concerned.

  • u guys suck

  • u fucking liberal die torture gives u awnsers dumbass. do what you deem nessisary not whats supposably right wake up this isnt a nice world idiot. this is war and this is how we save lives instead of keeping an obvious criminal in a jailcell wasting millions of taxpayers money u dick

  • that dudes a wimp

  • When I hear about about a terrorist who is shot for being ordered not to move, I DON'T CARE. SHOOT HIM AGAIN.

In closing, if Jack Bauer were a real agent and I were president of the US, I would give him a Medal and full pardon of any "crimes" he may have committed. It's men like him I thank for being able to sleep soundly at night, not PC hippies like you

  • You are who concern me. Are we fighting insurgents who hide behind women and children or aren't we? I'll start giving a crap about these peoples rights when they fight like men rather than hide behind religion and civilians. Until then, you can quote me. When I hear about a CONFESSED terrorist being waterboarded...I DON'T CARE!

  • .... QQ dude, jack bauer is awesome.. you can't handle it.

  • <<Conversar com este reco, só se for para combinar uma trancada na mulher ou na mãe dele.

  • It's a fucking TV show. There's a difference between real life and television, I think people who have lives get that. These people have nothing better to do than criticize pop culture and make things into issues. If you don't like the torture, don't watch 24. Should we take "King of Queens" off television because Kevin James is fat, therefore teaching viewers that being obese is the only way to be funny?

  • I'll bet all the commentators preparing to demean me know everything they know on torture from 24 and didn't even finish this video but I welcome it.

  • Full disclosure: I am in full support of torture given exceptional circumstances and love watching the show. That does not mean that this guy or his human rights group is a pussy for finding the inaccurate portrayal of torture offensive. Nor is he a terrorist for explaining that troops overseas are implementing tactics seen in this fictional show on real detainees (a fact by the way).

  • There are so many fucking ignorant comments here its immensely surprising considering the 13,000 views. You guys realize there is almost never a scenario as the ticking time bomb scenario posed in every episode of 24? How often do you think we face a threat where we know there is a bomb, its gonna go off if we don't stop it, and we know that a guy we have in custody knows about it? I can tell you its not 24 times a day.

  • There's so much bullshit out there about torture. Ive never tortured anyone so i have no clue whether or not it works. But if it gets even one person to talk, then use it. You can't be blinded by your 5th grade morals when fighting a war against an enemy with no homeland and no face. Intelligence is the only way we're going to kill our enemies.I dont give a shit what happens to members of al Qaeda or the Taliban. These people blow up children for Christs sake. If hurting them keeps me safe, do it

  • 24 is a religion. Jack Bauer is the messenger. Jack bless us:)

  • Human rights just a joke.. If your family killed in bus attack or metro bombing what are you gonna think? still can you think human rights for terrorist or their supporter? I can answer that question for you guys.. no you can't! So stop thinking like an idiot and give some space for people for doing their job. Law enforcement, military and other goverment agents trying to save our lives.

  • These freakin human right's activists need to get a freakin life. It's FAKE. it's for entertainment purposes ONLY. And considering the scenarios these "heroes" of the show go through, there is nothing wrong with causing a terrorist a little pain to save millions of other people's lives.

  • This guy is an absolute idiot, as is this everyone in this Humans Rights First Organization. Would you rather have innocent Americans die than to put a terrorist through some pain? You've gotta be kidding me.

  • Maybe this man should buy the show from the producers and write it himself if he doesn't like it.

  • Though I understand the concern, 24 is pretty much the ONLY show that gives us a hero that will use the terrorists methods against them. If this spawned a ton of shows I would be more likely to agree, but having ONE hero that is uncompromising is not a big deal IMO. Besides no one wants to see a weak hero ALL the time, and this show was merely giving us an answer to that. I don't condone torture IRL by any means. It is the people who want to torture IRL that have the real problem not 24.

  • Somebody put this fag in a combat zone, let him see a few friends torn to shreds, then let him get taken bye a few rag heads, or stuck in a burning building with inocent civilians, and then, then, put him on fuckin telly or an advert, for some stupid fuckin n,g,o, screaming we are all inocent, bye the way, my comments are not related to 24. I just cant stand tree huging pricks who have never bein in the shit in any shape or form and talk bollox, bout war or torture, bla, bla.

  • Ah I see, because you don't agree with the sentiments of the program that makes it a 1 hour advertisment for torture.

  • I am not a Cheney fan, but let me tell you something. WAKE UP. The people who we are really at war with do not use the articles of the Geneva Convention, they are fighting this war with no rules or boundaries. Sir, what happens when the types of people portrayed on this show (Which is fictitious, and one of my favorites.) are attacking innocent lives? Last year the Taliban hung an eight year old boy. What if that happened to someone you cared about? Woulden't you do ANYTHING to stop it?

  • won't be bitching about torture when it stops a car bomb from killing innocent people, oh yeah you will because it's never you in danger, it's always easy for people to bash something when it doesn't effect them, fuck this guy, when your family is blown to hell by a suicide bomber and your bitching and moaning about why the government didn't stop them, this is why because you tie their hands

  • I believe its time you SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • i hate these fuckin activist groups... torture or coercion is a very effective and efficent procedure of obtaining the necessary information in order to save lives and acheive the good of society... "the ends justifies the means" proposed by Nicollo machiavelli mentality is the only moral thing to believe.... also stop tryin to ruin television.... its not real life and even if it was i support it 100%

  • fu motha mothaaaaa..omgosh this gay tweeb's face is so funny

  • haha this guy is so funny! the truth of the matter is 24 is highly entertaining to watch! big jack loves slaughtering muslims lol

  • There's one little problem ... Muslims are not human. They are jackals that walk on two legs. Scavengers and rodents, all of them.

  • i would like hold my breath to death after that bullet in the thigh.

  • This guy does make a good point in terms of the first few episodes. However later on in the season, Meyer was portrayed in a more sympathetic light. I LOVE 24 and don't think it should take all the blame for what some stupid people do in the real world. However SOMETIMES torture was over-used on the show.

  • god damn soldiers imitate that shit literally? I SAY WE SAW OFF SOMEONES ARM ON 24 WHOS WITH ME!!!!

  • youtube.com/watch?v=P3amHFP-_ec

  • so much brainwashed morons who forgot theyr history... if u exchange liberty for protection u will end up having none of both.. remember how u all condonded this when ur own goverment comes oneday to take u to the FEMA camp to give u a taste of your own medicine... The MIAC report is written for all u sadistic yuppie scum that cannot think for themselves and parrot your news anchors and constituants to support your fictional hero! go F yourself

  • If you don't want people to imitate it over there in the middle east then don't let them watch T.V.

To blame it on a show as the result of abusive soldier's power is stupid. T.V. is fiction and is never to be imitated

  • What the hell. Why don't they look at the facts. Torture can actually get valid information. And beyond that, who cares? It's a tv show. It shouldn't matter. No one should do anything these people tell them to.

  • Jack Bauer Dislikes This

  • So it'd be less immoral if the nuke went off in L.A. and eradicated millions of people? Is that what you support?

Fucking "Human Rights" losers need to go spend a year in a hot zone in Afghanistan, and if they're still alive we'll see which "side" they're speaking for.

  • @blackpkerstr nothing like throwing the rule book out the window when life gets a bit uncertain.

  • @blackpkerstr What if false information gained from torture led to millions of deaths? Is that what you support?

I can make up hypothetical scenarios to scare people too.

@usman123456789101 That's not how human rights laws work. One side can't decide whether or not someone has a human right based on their actions, it's universal. If I declared war on you and decided that you were undeserving of human rights, would that mean I would be free to torture you?

  • I lose sleep at night over the fact that there are actually full grown adults out there who think television is real.

  • think your missing the point of what 24 is about. it shows that torture is to be used, when a suspect is unwilling to co-operate when been arrested and that even lawyers or presidential pardons will not make them divulge information on something potentially life threating, most of the time happening very soon. the show is basically depicting a reasonably true fact that most terrorists care about achieving their goal, rather than co-operating and accepting consequences of the law. get it right!

  • I think organisations like this one seems to be, concentrate on the wrong people... "arnie" killed about 2 billion people in movies, ive seen that movies with 12-14 and i still didnt hurt anyone really mad... yh its an ad, but just say u didnt know how to hurt someone without killing him?*kicking someones nuts`?*... sry but this video is absolutely nonsense... remove it, its ridicolous

  • We are not usually a channel to right comments so consider yourself lucky. With that said, we hate and despise when government officials and other people in the media dish on '24'. Jack Bauer is a fictional character on a TV show! He knows what he is doing and in season 4 he admitted that no one understands the consequences better than he does. Terrorists don't care about our laws and procedures. All they care about is a result. It's the agents job to stop them from accomplishing their results.

  • 24 doesn't promote torture with this. There is a very good quote that Jack Bauer says at the end of the 7th season: "Never make choices that you can't live with"

Obviously if "sick" people see this, they are going to have a lot of good ideas to harm other people...but a pshycopath doctor can do better!

Actually, the thing that you miss with this critic is that 24 doesn't promote torture at all...it just a very ugly representation and critic of what the United States does to justify their actions

  • @lacrimax Moreover, 24 underneath all that violence, shows us how corruptible human beings (I mean, all us) are.

It is very easy to complain about 24 violence...but what about Nip/Tuck? What about The Shield? or Dexter? Those tv series are much darker that 24, but nobody says anything...and people don't have to, either, because those are drama TV shows, and represent in a very accurate way how sad real life is!

  • Go to Google and type in "descover the networks". Once in, search for "human rights first". You will find that human rights first are not only a bunch of whiny open boarders terrorist protecting marxist liberals, but you will also find out that they hold the rights of captured terrorists over that of innocent civilians in order to premote their liberal agenda.

  • I think I should stick a needle in that guys eye for torture. It's a fucking show on TV.

  • Oh no, not fictional torture! Why can't jack hold hands with the terrorists and sing Paul McCartney songs? Like, give peace a chance bro.

  • Also if you idiots that demonize 24 knew anything you would know that Kiefer Sutherland is VERY outspoken against the use of torture and in 2008 or 2009 I forget when he spoke to the graduating class at West Point about how the use of torture is detrimental and how NO intelligence agency in the world should use it .

  • I swear if I ever meet the guy in the video im gonna smack him in the face . 24 is a fictional TV show what is seen is 100% fake it doesnt promote anything but great entertainment . The people crying foul are nothing more than self righteous assholes who have nothing better to do than complain .

  • @badreligion1231 I agree. I find it pretty scary that grown adults can't figure out the difference between fiction and reality.

  • Hey HumanRightsFirstOrg, it's a TV show, It's A TV Show, ITS A BLOODY TV SHOW! An advertisement for Torture? My ASS!. It's Hollywood and I highly doubt our military is watching a TV show as a training video. For an organization that seems to defend murderers and child molesters, you need to get over yourselves.

  • Ironically, in the "real world" torture rarely leads to reliable data. This is "24's" greatest departure from reality.

  • Good video. I wholeheartedly support its sentiments.

  • Hey Americans:

Did the victims of 9/11 deserve to die?

Is the US army allowed to torture at leisure and interrogate forcefully without accountability and transparency?

No matter which question you answer, and no matter what answer you give, you will inadvertently answer the other question, and you will answer it the same way.

Waterboarders are as subhuman as terrorists.

  • Well, 24 has quite nice torture scenes. Should we tell this guy about the SAW movies? Or will that blow his mind completely?

Come on it's a great tv show, not the real life.

  • Well that's 2:48 i'll never get back. Calm down it's a friggen TV show. Apparently your little petition failed because two weeks ago 24 showed it's most brutal tourture scene in the shows history. I agree with President Clinton that if there are situations where tourture is acceptable (i.e. A bomb about to kill 1 million people).

  • Question for HumanRightsFirstOrg ...

Are the Muzzies human? After all they behead people on video and post it to the internet don't they?

The point is that we NEED the character Jack Bauer to empower us against those who have sworn themselves our enemies.

  • Comment removed

  • Didnt you hear hassan was gonna blow up a bus full of people god jack did it right

  • Comment removed

  • If terrorists going to act like the animals that they are, then they've forgone their human rights and obviously have no respect for them anyway. If we torture those ragheads, we'll get the information we need eventually.

  • jack bauer does what is necessary to save many. the terrorist dont care for human rights why should Jack. GO Jack!!

  • i believe its time for you idiots to stop making dumb videos like this, you have no idea what war is like and what foreigners do to our troops. i bet if one of your family members life was on the line you'd want everything including torture to be done to find them

  • Real men do what is needed. Just set back and be safe you pansy ass. Real men don't need your thanks or your approval.

  • GO 24, screw you!

  • I honestly don't see what is wrong with hurting someone, who is trying to blow up a bus full of innocent people. What are they supposed to do, talk nicely to the guy, and get him some food? Yeah, thats gonna get him to talk.

  • Go fuck yourself you dickhead! What if your kids were killed in a terrorist attack. wouldn't you want someone to stop that from happening. people killed in terrorist attacks have rights too and the ragheads don't care about that. so fuck you you pussy.

  • 24 FTW

  • I highly believe in human rights, but if you gotta torture a dude to save a bunch of innocent lives, then it's THE ONLY moral decision.

    fuck off ya sissies

  • i hope the guy who made this is a terrorist and i heard jack knows where he stays i tried to call jack about it but he said he busy and cant speak right now

  • a one hour advertisement for torture? yeah bullshit, 24 is about alot more than torture, alot more

  • Comment removed

  • hahah. these people are faggots. jack bauer is awesome and we need more like him in real life.

  • I don't think that 24 should be held responsible for the things some interrogators do. It's just a tv show, and yes I do love it. But it is only fiction. It does scare me that some people think that it's okay for people to do in real life what jack bauer does on 24.

  • fuck you ass faget jack bauer rules the world

    24 for ever

  • Jack Bauer kicks ass!

  • but they are bad guys

  • So if this guy's son was kidnapped and about to be killed, and he was in the same room as one of the guys who knows where his son is being held... you're telling me this guy wouldn't put the kidnapper through a little pain to save his own son?

    Great dad.

  • I always find it shocking when humans rights groups try to defend terrorists. I bet none of them have lost anyone due to such people. I say this because I am quite sure that if they had and knew that they could have been stopped by using such methods as shown in 24 they wouldn't be stating that terorrists have human rights then!

  • @ewarwoo7 and i suppose you torture and execute your murderers? oh ofcourse you don't, what was i thinking, they're doing the same thing but they're just called different...

  • @Darusdei and I suppose you seem to forget that some states in the US still have the 'death penalty' for murderers. So, yes some places do still execute murderers. Also the difference between a terrorist and a murderer is that generally most murderers work alone. Terrorists are usually part of a cell. Stop a murderer, thats them usually banged to rights, stop a terrorist and their group could still have something going on.

  • @ewarwoo7 and that description could be applied to some religious cults but never before have they been called "terrorists"

  • @ewarwoo7 Evil is a weakness, you've mistaken it as a strength and have exposed yourself in the process. Its my duty to tell you and the people like you that you're on fire, and that is no fucking joke. You sure as hell wont burn me with your bullshit though your thoughts can fuck right off I see through them and repudiate them.

  • ya, i`l right to the writers and tell them that torture works, cuz it does. how you gonna get some guy to talk offer him freedom, so in 6 months he`s back to no good. grow a fucking spin and some balls

  • completely agree man What ever it takes to save innocent lives

  • What I don't get is how anyone can think one mans pain outweighs the lives of hundreds if not thousands of innocent people. Had we gone a little further in the interrogation of those who knew 911 was going to take place maybe those thousands of innocent people would be alive

  • the last i checked 24 is fiction

  • Comment removed

  • This guy is retarted

  • 24 is fiction!!! if U.S. soldiers and interrogators have copied abusive techniques they saw on "24" surley there is a problem with them not the writers of a tv show!!?!!?

  • fucking faggot

  • this is fucking retarded. 24 is a work of fiction, whether or not it's advocating torture is moot...it is meant for mature audiences who can discern what is right and what is wrong. the conflict between whether torture is okay in certain circumstances, or whether it is always wrong, is a theme of the show...i dont get what the big deal is

  • shut up pussy fuck the geneva convention

  • Military operatives want to torture terrorists, fine by my. I have little sympathy for people who murder innocent civilians.

  • Shut the hell up.....liberal....Keep up the good work 24....if they need to be beat...then beat them up more......

  • this is absurd! It is a tv show strictly for entertainment. personally if more people used jacks style of problem solving the world would work a whole lot better! The human rights dude needs a life that includes a woman and not a life that is filled with him and his buddies worrying about how violent a MAN's tv show is. yeah a MAN's

  • italian you are exactly right couldnt of said it better my self!

human rights guy - grow a pair.

    BAUER POWER!!!

  • I like when Bauer tortures people, maybe i wouldn't if I were the subject

  • that human rights guy is a cock-gobbling fag. He obviously thinks that risking the loss of innocent life by asking terrorists nicely where the bomb is, is more acceptable than torture and assuring that those innocent lives aren't loss. It's dickless people like this who make our world full of pussies. FUCK that, Jack Bauer rides on his foes all fucking day, every hour of the day, and pansies that bitch and moan about tortue will have to deal with it. BAUER POWER!

  • If everyone starts to torture people by watching 24, the whole world would be Gay of watching the Jonas Brothers!

  • 24 leads to torture. Just like batman leads to to people taking the law into their own hands.

And harry potter turns little kids into satanists.

ffs! Its just a show. The problem isn't in what we see, its inside of the heads and minds of people who cant separate entertainment from reality. They are the real danger, wake up and stop blaming films and games and books. If a show makes you get a gun and go shoot people then sir, you are seriously messed up in the noggin.

  • Get a life.

    Bauer Power!

  • haha i agree Bauer Power! If ur a human rights freak dont watch it!!

  • 24 is the best show

  • This dude on the video is huge fucking pansy.

  • Yes. love torture!

  • 24 FTW!!

  • torture is so good though. would you rather torture a towelhead or get hit by a nuclear bomb?

    don't be a wimp

  • He's not torturing for treat, he's torturing because it's nessesаry to save the other people who didn't do anything! What did you say about that example? Anything! But it's important..

  • YES!!!!!

  • are you some kind of moron. 24 is about saving people and getting the job done by assesing situations and acting accordingly..if for the fact of getting critical info out of a terrorist jack hits em or something he gets his info..be glad he doesnt just go off and snap necks..24 isnt a harbor for torture you dayumm pussy, stop searching for new ways to mess up television you conservative ass..go do some actual work and lets us enjoy a show that is fiction..he doesnt tell ppl to kill ppl, ppl do..

  • The torture scenes in 24 are my favorite scenes.

I love Jack Bauer forcing baddies to chat it up.

I will be sending a letter to the producers of 24, today, to commend them on their use of torture in this series.

  • I would torture any terrorist if it meant saving the life of one American soldier. Quit bothering the FBI and the military for torturing terrorist. Who cares? Terrorists aren't even human.

  • Comment removed

  • it would be easy to spread your message, if you'd enable embedding, you morons

  • I highly doubt you have ever seen an episode. Every time Jack tortures someone he gets in massive trouble. Jack has even died from being tortured. He even spent TWO years in a chinese prison getting torturd EVERYDAY. Jack knows the consequences far better than any other charactoer on the show. But when lives are at risk he must do what it nesserery to save the people. I FUCKING love 24 even the torture parts.

  • Hell yeah!!

  • FUCK OFF its an advertisment for torture no its not watch the show u prick its not all about torture so just fuck off u pansy

  • Oh come on, 24 is incredible!

  • Would you do whatever it took to protect hundreds from a terrorist attack, even if it meant torturing a terrorist?

  • I rated it one star as soon as i heard..

'In all, 24 is a one hour advertisement for torture..'

  • WHO FRIGGIN CARES! GO 24!!!

TORTURE IN THIS IS ACTING! ACT_TING its not really happening so get over it!

  • @LugiaLoverGreen I guess you never heard of Birth of a Nation. After that movie came out that glorified the KKK, the membership grew to over 20 million in the US. D. W. Griffith might never have actually lynched a black man or been involved in a cross burning, but his movie sure as hell inspired a shit load of them.

  • shut up!! I will do what am I need do to doing neccessary! I don't care your rights and I don't care your rules.. because I dealing people not care yours... Military or citizens have to follow me so I can protect this country!!!!

24 is the best fuck the resttttttt go to helll idiotttttt LEAVE ALONE JACK!

  • torture is wrong if used wrong. But sometimes it becomes the only means necessary to do what's right for the greater good. No one deserves a perfect life, and karma will take place eventually, but torture is sometimes the only way to go but should only be used as a last resort.

  • torture those arabs they deserve it for messing with usa and torture apparently works who cares how some smelly arab feels fuck them up!!!

  • the only good thing about this video are scenes from 24. fucking awesome!

  • write to the producers? I will write to you since I don't think that some schmuck who hasn't even seen the show starts to talk about human rights. Have we got to the point where movies is real life and real life is just something we imagine? does the guy talking bullshit in this video has any idea what jack said in the end of the season 7 about torture? does this guy realise that 24 is not the real thing. this is the dumbest human rights video ever made! you really are a wimp!

  • Bottom Line it does work so go tell Obama, Biden, Clinton, and Pelosi to go screw themeselves

  • tatol5732, if MY child were taken hostage, I would want to use interrogation techniques that actually work, not torture. Torture only encourages suspects to become more idealistic and to give false, even deliberately misleading information. Why did we start the war with Iraq? A tortured prisoner gave us information that linked Al Qaeda with Sadam Hussein. That information was later proved to be false. No matter what your moral stance on torture is, the blunt truth is that IT DOESN'T WORK.

  • Torture does work because the prisoner knows that if he gives false information things will git a lot more painful. and by the way we went to Iraq after a little thing called 911 happened now that may not sound like a big deal to you but i bet that people who lost loved ones in the twin tower bombing would disagree. And if torture is all it takes to prevent another 911 than i would glady cut a terrorists fingers off one by one

  • this video is downright pathetic

Certainly, torture is a very complex question.I'm not a philosopher or a moralist, I just know that if f.i. someone kept my child as a hostage, I would torture him with no remorse whatsover to save my child...I would like to pose the same question to the stupid guy on the video: it's very easy to preach against torture and to talk on human rights when one has had an "easy life" and doesn't know "first hand" that evil, and evil people, do exist, also in real life

  • the problem is that you can't be sure that you're torturing the right guy. just like death sentence, people can be innocent. but ofc you americans are always right :P

  • well, we have lie detectors. if he really doesn't know, the lie detector will show us and we'd let'em go. we aren't going to keep torturing an innocent guy. THAT'S bad. However, if the lie detector shows that he's lying when he says he doesn't know, THAT'S when we start the torturing process.

  • I love torture. Especially when it's some liberal scum.

These people would rather save some pain on some terrorist than save lives.

24..... show more torture. It's keeping us alive.

  • Hey , what exactly is your problem? Do you value the life of the scums who are happy to kill anybody anyhow more than others? Dont take anything superficially. First you have to understand 24 before uploading such an irresponsible and worthless crap .

  • guys, torturing is necessary when there's someone ABOUT TO FREAKING BOMB US!!!

if it protects American lives, go for it. The terrorists don't seem to give a **** about whether is morally wrong to torture U.S soldiers or not, so what's wrong with torturing terrorists? they are gonna torture out troops whether we torture or not, so why don't we just torture terrorists for some payback as well as extracting information.

torture is wrong, but in some cases, it is needed and necessary.

  • Firstly, 24 is a fictional tv show - if US soldiers are taking ideas from the showand using them in real life , its their problem, not 24's

Secondly, its entertainment and the torture in the show only works sometimes and finally,

if people start giving out about 24 giving the soldiers torture ideas, couldnt we start complaining that it also gives terrorists ideas for targets??

This video is complete crap and doesnt paint the full picture

  • bottom line

    torture=bad

    freedom of speech=good

    good entertainment=good

this is entertainment, and even if it was not, they can say whatever the fuck they want. I think the torture scenes add drama and give a dark side to the government and the story's hero

  • this man is so gay. i beleve that if it saves innocent lives then we should be able to use any means neccisary. people like him and obama biden clinton all need to start seeing that the world isn't as black and white as they think it is.

  • just listening to this guy talk is terrible his voice is perfect for someone who would believe the garbage he is saying it pisses me off that people like this get off like there making a difference in the world people who waste time protesting anything even abortion are stupid the only reason we have the right to protest is because are governement is so established that people can easily be ignored a 3rd world country with divided government cant have protests cause it further divides them

  • "Honestly, we need more people like Jack in the world anyways."

Somebody here can't distinguish between tv and real life. And how does he know the information given under torture isn't just a lie meant to waste his time until the bomb goes off?

  • watching THIS was a torture...

  • you uh... You know it's just a T.V. show, right? I mean... It's fake. You DO know this, yes? It isn't based off of real life events. It isn't mimicked from some war video. It isn't used to teach people how to interrogate. It is a complete and total FARCE created by people who just want more action.

  • Wow... You know, this is absolutely ridiculous. The bastards Flew 2 planes into the two tallest buildings in the world, and killed over 3,000 people. And you're worried about their rights about being tortured? Come on! People need to start getting their heads out of their asses and wake up. I've heard people say that the constitution is against torture. But the constitution was created to protect United States citizens, NOT THE PEOPLE THAT TRY TO KILL US!!! WAKE UP!!!

  • Yes, Jack Bauer and 24 are fictional, but how terror is portrayed on the show are very revelent to what is happening today. Jack Bauer, (Bush) did us tough interrogation on these TERRORISTS, lets not forget, but they did it in order to keep us safe from harm. And it worked. Plus, I don't even call waterboarding torture, its not the worst thing. Torture is pulling out toe nails or putting lemon juice on cuts, thats torture. But putting water up someones nose for a couple minutes is not torture
