Hey girl keep on going with that. You'll get the hang of it & have alot of fun while doing it.  If you really like it, you'll get a life time of joy from it. Karen had drums in her soul. Be kind to this girl- no amount of lessons could ever come close. Hope she can master the basics and pull off some simple riffs, as she's got Karen's voice down pat and I'd love to hear much more of her. (Those of you who are not drummers should... be patient).

You're on Youtube, take advantage of it. Watch Karen Carpenter-the drummer, the Ventures doing Wipeout, any of David Neal's work as Suzi Quatro's drummer. They are all right handed. You can tell by the way they hold the left stick. It's like a chopstick. These drummers were properly trained.

I recommend Dave Neal. He's now giving instruction. Watch him alot!
