Thank you for the advice. you do have great looking skin! Have a quick ?. I'm 35 and would like to get rid of some sun spots on my face. What do you know that would work good for that? Not too pricey though.
Your very right, people do not know how hydrating Glycolic acid is, I make my own cream because most preperations are not organic and some I heard contain formaldehydes. and other unsavory ingredients. I do not even bother with high end creams anymore.... its a waste and leaves more left for .... booo lol
Wow!!! Thank you so much for sharing your beauty secrets... I am 40 years old and in RN school, so as a full time student with a husband who works two full time jobs in the meantime this has been most helpful. I have always tried to take really good care of my face and had heard of such at home treatments but finding credible reviews about products on you tube has been a little frustrating. The delivery of your reviews and advice comes across splendidly. Again, thank you!
For a less expensive version of the C E Ferulic try Cosmetic Skin Solutions. I was using Skinceuticals Ploretin for a long time but the cost was killing me. After doing some research and reading various forums on skincare I found Cosmetic Skin Solutions. Check it. Its worth it. I have had extremely good results for half the cost. Same percentages of active ingredients as Skinceuticals. I also work in the spa/skincare industry.
@swedishfish218 I have a Botox video up there somewhere in my list. Love the stuff. Just go to someone reputable and do less than you think you'll need. You can always go back for more!
Hi can you give me any advice on how to prevent my neck from ageing? It's the only part of me that shows my age. Are there any cosmetic procedures or treatments I can do? I have darker rings around my neck and am getting stringy looking cords that running vertically. Any advice?
@kilpo28 OMG me, too! At this point I am doing intense research (read: I'm the Guinea pig) I'll let you know when I figure it out. Until then, chic scarf perhaps :)
@MattieRobertsShow Thermage is the best, it really works. I have seen such dramatic results in patients, better than a traditional face-lift. (I work with a plastic surgeon, I am an IPL tech/esthetician) :)
@kilpo28 i think some is def genetic as ive had two circles on my neck since i was a young child. ive never found anything but i dont really notice any more ive had them so long!
could you please tell me if you have tried the dupe for skinceuticals ce ferulic..it is called Cosmetic Solutions CE Ferulic Serum ..several youtubers have said it is the same ingredients..it is only around 40.00 or so..please to a comparison if you don't mind..

@ritashelton Funny I just posted a reply to the video before seeing your comment. I love CSS and yes it offers a good alternative to Skinceuticals (which I used for a long time). I have not used the CE Ferulic but have used the phloretin and have had the same consistent results as the Skinceuticals version.
I've been using Skin Ceuticals spf 45 for years and recently added in La Roche Posay Anthelios. It's a bit pricey, but that's not an area where I want to go all budget-diva! i also use Skin Ceuticals C+E with ferulic acid under the sunscreen. It's a really important step to minimize sun damage. You can get it off the Skin Ceuticals website.
My routine right now is Skin Ceuticals C-E Ferulic in the morning, followed by sunscreen then makeup...I use a rough/nubby washcloth with hot water first to exfoliate a bit. Evening is Ponds Anti-aging wipes in the pink package, followed buy a light scrub (Biore is in rotation right now) every other day. I finish with a ROC...a perennial fave. If my skin is too dry for the ROC then I use Lac Hydrin/AmLactin. Once a week I do the Glycolic acid peel I mentioned from Makeup Artists Choice.
@100Anushka I never do botox before, just hyaluronic acid and yes it is hurt a little but you can do it because for 5 minutes of pains you will have from 3 to 7 months of beauty and less money spended on creams that just not working. First time is always heard. I wanna start with botox cause I have a bi canyion wrinkle right in the middle of my .... sorry do not remember the word ... think is front.... anyway mattie is doing it and she is looking so great and that gives me more courage
@ji94552 I have tried the dupe which was recommended by Debbick1..she has used both. I think she said they worked the same..i need to find out if she still agrees with her video on that..I have not tried the skinceutical one though..

I'm trying to work up the courage to have botox. But I've heard it hurts like hell and I'm so scared of needles. You have very beautiful skin.

@100Anushka Botox hurts a bit but it's all over before you know it...like a brief bee sting. Then you have three months of unlined fabulosity.

Mattie, there is a dupe for that Skinceutical serum at amazon.com. Look for Cosmetic Skin Solution brand. It has the same ingredients.
