@sbseed Technically, it's not infinite, but it is pretty damn close. The real problem is finding drinkable water. Currently something like 2% of the world's water is safe to consume, and that number is shrinking.
2% of the worlds water is safe to consume directly*. Virtually none of the water you're going to consume in your future lifetime is part of that 2%. haha unless you go hiking and drink out of a stream or something. otherwise, the 98% is filterable, it just costs lots-o-money, so if we don't waste so much water, demand goes down and prices drop :)
@LianProductions To process ocean water (a huge percentage of the worlds water), takes a lot of energy and time. If we had to distill all our water from the oceans before drinking it, there'd be shortages everywhere and water costs skyrocketing. Of course, we wouldn't die of thirst or anything, but we'd definitely run into trouble.
