  • does anybody know how to overclock the Q6600 exceeding the 3GHz point?

  • VERY HARD OVERCLOCK WITH MY Q9550

BUT FROM 2,83 TO @3,68 IS GOOD RESULT:0) BUT WITH GIGABYTE I WOULD SPEND 1/8 TIME WITH THAT OVERCLOCKING:)

  • @woskiy yep same problem here. I cant get my q9300 over 3ghz on this board...

  • @FullFledged2010 I have a new board Asus P5Q PRO and 4,01 Ghz is no problem. Msi P7N sli isn´t good choise... :(

  • @woskiy But the p5q doesn't support sli.

  • will this board run ocz reaper 1066?

  • I Own this Mobo lol its kool

  • how much it cost?

  • im picking mine up weds. tried getting a zilent edition with the free zalman heatsink/fan. Its the same price.

  • bios is blue. NO RAID ): , only 4 sata ports, also doesnt turn lead into gold

  • I have one, I thought it could do RAID 0 or 1?

But yes, this vid confused me, the BIOS is blue...

  • @dearlydeceived it has raid because i'm running 2 raptors in raid 0 on it. but yeah my bios is blue as well.

  • das cool

  • how good is this for overclocking? i bought an XFX 750i and it is SHIT. says it can support 1800mhz fsb but cant get it to overclock 50mhz..

  • You are doing it wrong...

Ive OCed my E6600 to 3.3GHz without any problem.. Awesome Motherboard, i reccoment it for those who want it!!!

  • Got it just today! BIOS is not red :P

  • i love this board, a lot

best one i have had in awhile, coming off two gigabytes and an asrock

  • which would be better this or the MSI P7N SLI-FI? thanks.

  • Heatsink Mohawk.

  • I thought that was what was happening, because when I took a closer look at the PCI-e slots, I noticed how they MAY be a tad off from each other, but it's really just the different colour that throws it off to make you think it's not x16. At least, apparently, the factory BIOS is making it run in x8 mode. just listen to people when they say "when you buy a new mobo, remember to always look to see if the BIOS needs an update"

  • What should i go with the MSI P7N or P45?

    I cant decide

  • P7N fool.

  • 3 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots

(The 2nd & 3rd PCI Express x16 slots are operating at x8 mode)

  • Guys someone know if this MOBO fits Cooler Master Hyper212 CPU Cooler?

i would apreciate it so much!!!!!!

    cheers:)

  • the 3rd pci x8 slot might be used as a PhysX card...

  • i dont get why people say false info.

This mother board supports 2 way sli

the dark blue pci e 2 socket is x16

    and the 2 light blues r 8x

  • I love the fisher price look

  • i own this mother board.. it's great!

  • do you think you could put a zalman CNPS9700 LED cpu cooler on that because of that cooper part.

  • do i need to flash the BIOS if i would get this board and the E8400, thanks.

  • No

    I have this board with a c2D 8400

    There is no biosflashing needed

  • how many graphic cards can this hold?

  • 2 !

  • technically three graphic cards. but u can use a maximum of two cards with SLI

  • no that´s false you can use tri-sli with this board

    3 grka´s in sli

    it works

  • ...........No, Tri Sli WILL NOT work.

  • nah man tha plat. should do fine, only reason to get a 780i is for triple sli which is shit.

  • no, it's great. i love it. if you're an overclocker this thing is amazing. i have my e8400 at 3.6ghz

  • i had a choice of getting the asus but your right many people have complained about the board. just google p5n-D vs P7N plat. the plat. will in fact last longer as it uses high quality solid state caps. im more than happy with mine, but lyk i said its not worth picking the p5n-D just because it runs sli at x16/x16, if your card saturates full 16 bus speed then your better of getting a 780i board.

  • Does this board support ddr3 ram? ive got no idea, if it isnt could someone recomend a mobo that supports ddr3. Also is the asus p5n-e sli ddr3? i dont think so but does someone know for sure?

  • don't get ddr3 its a waste of money, but if your must you'll need to get a 790i board.

  • 790i is to expensive and i can get 2gb of ddr3 4 117$ wat about x48? iv switched to ati now so i wouldnt get this board.

  • hello guy! if u want a good ddr3 board i advise you this XFX 790i Ultra!

go and check how performant it is

  • i have no idea, read up on the specs, its 3 x16 2.0 slots but runs at x16/x8 when i run sli. Its barely a difference with my 8800gt sli. on the otherhand if i was using a more high end card which fully saturates the x16 then i would consider the 780i boards. Ive got my q6600 overclocked to 3.6ghz easy. couldnt be any happier.

  • this has 3 x16 2.0, sli works at x16/x8 which is fine. ive got it with 2 8800gt's sli'd.

  • witch do you guys suggest out of this one or the Asus P5N-D SLI?

  • ... arent u tiger direct???

  • this is my mother board.. it's so good

  • I have this mobo.

  • a budget mobo with the features of a high-end mobo, what else can you ask for?

  • Im getting this, the asus 1 is like a Kia

  • This one or the Asus one? :D

  • i got lot of problems of my msi platinum 650i motherboard, now using xfx 780i and its great!

  • weehee, i just bought this motherboard a few days ago

it runs with a Intel E6750, 2GB of RAM and an MSI NX8600GTS, all this is powered by an CoolerMaster Realpower M620

  • Does anyone know if a XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 or Thermalright Ultra 120 will fit on this board?

  • yes

  • why is it covered the 8 pin connector ? at 2:30
