this show was sick, wish it would ran for a few seasons... but the NFL cant let ESPN show the league in a bad light... its not like NFL playersreally do things like use steroids, carry guns,are involved in murders and rape, selling drugs or get fines for j walking

i remember renting this on nextflix. i remember looking forward for the next season, only to find out this shit was cancelled cuz the "world wide leader" aint got no balls to stand up against the nfl. what a damn shame. hbo or showtime should pick this up....oh wait them networks got some nfl programs as well. tsk tsk tsk

It really really sucks they took this show off the air. This damn show would still be running today. They should have told the NFL to fuck off and the NFL should have realized that at the end of the day it probably would have actually boosted ratings even more if anything.

this show was so real...players with narcotics abuse, domestic abuse, pyschiatric troubles, hangin out with the wrong crowd, faking drug tests, teammates in the closet, 2-faced owners, coaches who are stuck tryin to please the owners and not stab the players in the back......this show was true drama

GREAT show! Saw this first on Showcase Television. Reminded me of Power Play (but was about hockey). Not enough sports tv series. Too bad it was cancelled.

If there is any evidence the NFL is the No Fun League -- the pressure from them to cancel this show is the big reason that is what they are.

This was probably the best show i have ever seen on t.v. The NFL pretty much bullied ESPN into taking this off of the air because they knew it would cause negative attention.

This show really did portray realistic situations. It's a shame we don't have more of this on t.v. instead of the fake ass "reality" shows that air now a days.

@Bakari8886 its crazy because the only shows that get cancelled are very crappy ones, very deep real ones (like this show) or shows that are too smart for most/ahead of their time. im TIRED of that! take those crappy ass reality shows off these channels and WRITE a damn show for a change and make something great!!!
